Man that was a nostalgia trip. Went right back to 8 yo me and it felt like i looked at those pages yesturday! I was totally obsessed with models, planes specially. Never had one thou.
So you are my age. I remember seeing all this in shop windows or flyers like that I collected because they were free and I already was a technology nerd back then. Sometimes I wish I could travel back just in time to buy them all. In one of those (sadly long gone) little RC shops.
Wie Graupner halt einfach rebrandete Kyoshos verkauft hat. :D Bin als alter Kirchheimer trotzdem dankbar für die Marke, habe mir als Kind an den Fenstern des Showrooms immer die Nase plattgedrückt. Mein Papa hatte sich 1991 den Pinto gekauft, die Leidenschaft für RC-Fahrzeuge und Boote hält sich bei mir bis heute. Leider ist die Marke Graupner mittlerweile quasi verschwunden.
had the taxi cup (loved that plane) eurofighter 90 lost on first flight still have a pa18 super cup, not sure if the ventus i had was this version that was a great glider too. Started rc in '90 so remember most of these models. also still have some fp engines ; love those and some of the sf series os engines.
I love those old RC transmitters. They were basically crap in functionality and 2G4 with telemetry was a BIG revolution .. but the looks! Those were professional tools! Metal cases, boxy design, solid switches with big nuts on them, analog meters .. todays stuff always looks like ugly cheap toys.
Erinnere mich gerne an jede einzelne Seite dieser Kataloge. Wunderbar … aber offenbar hat sich Graupner in der Differenzierung der Produkte verloren … viel zu viele fast gleiche Modelle und damit pro Produkt zu wenig dabei herumgekommen … logistischer Albtraum. 😢

Sigh, I remember those pictures from the Hobby Lobby catalog here in the US. Graupner was ahead of the times. I still have my Elektro UHU in storage.
