Maiden songs aren't that hard to play (aside from the solos) but they are so melodic, that's what I love about them, best metal band hands down. Great job friend, will learn this song watching your vid.

Very good guitar work as always. I can't stop thinking that taking off 2-3 minutes between e.g the 4-7 minutes mark, would make the song so much better. Steve just lost the measure with his repeated parts..like decades ago

how do you modify your amp to get that sound, especially from the minute 9:00 on??
I didn't change anything at 9:00. I think I just use one tone for the rhythm parts and another one for the lead parts (this one has more reverb and maybe a slight delay)

Just had to have another listen to this after hearing the new song, although the Dianno era will always be the Maiden for me I absolutely love this... If I could only ever hear one Maiden track again it would be this. And what a brilliant version this is, top top job.
Which solo did you find to be the most difficult and why? To me, Dave's legato speed seems the hardest to replicate.

Gros son comme d'habitude, je trouve que ça sonne un peu Breton cette histoire (et ce n'est pas un défaut, car je suis amoureux de la Bretagne !!) les Tabs c'est un vrai plus bien sûr (Ah ça change de la méthode de la Guitare à Dadi de mes débuts, c'était en ... 72, gasp ... ) LOL

De la même manière qu'on peut entendre une mélodie qui sonne un peu asiatique dans la mélodie principale d'Empire Of The Clouds (ça se ressent bien quand les 2 guitares harmonisent cette mélodie je trouve). En 72 ? Mais t'es encore + vieux que moi xD
Et j'ai commencé l'année du Bac (faut assurer quand-même ...) je pointe donc dans le club des sexagénaires 😥 😄

I like your The Red And The Black cover, for me that's the best song from album. The Great Unknown too, because it is so... GREAT! This album is awesome! I bought the The Book of Souls album and I listen yet. I like when Iron Maiden made songs with 3 solos.

+david marshall The guitars are a cheap old Yamaha 120D and a Jackson fusion. And no amp; I plug the guitar in a M-audio soundcard and use guitar rig for the effects
