      Mr Brooks has now seen that he could not control another female! I feel that when he found out that the judge was female that made him furious! It’s proven that he abused his ex so his behavior throughout this case was no surprise to me. It’s so sad that his children have to grow up with the label “the children of a killer” and also his mother will also suffer. No matter where they may relocate, they’ll still be gazed upon and talked about. My prayers go out to each and everyone that have suffered a loss and have been injured
      from this tragedy. I pray that justice is done swiftly and fairly. I have faith that it will be. Now this killer won’t be able to push anymore women around because he will be locked up with his own gender. He made a mockery of this court of law!

      Most murderers plead not guilty as their only chance of freedom is a messed up trial with a not guilty verdict like Casey Anthony, OJ Simpson, etc. Plead guilty and no chance of getting out, plead not guilty and make the prosecution prove their case and hope for a sympathetic juror. It's reprehensible.

      I'm sorry Judge Darrow, but at some point enough is enough and you've let him go beyond that. Even after reading 40+ pages of jury instruction she let him back into the room, while he was still arguing with her and making it clear he's not intending to settle down. I hate to use Brooks' words here, but now I don't understand this!
      EDIT: ok, got back from the break and she didn't bring him back in.. likely because he was still mouthing off as she left the bench. But still, she said she was going to and just having that dialogue with him was far too much. Already wasted a bunch of time.. already told him to put it in writing that he'd agree to shut up if he comes back. Leave it at that, stick to your decision and move on. Stop revisiting it. No matter how much he waves his hands to the cameras.

    This judge has handled this case meticulously, with patience I don’t think I’ve ever witness (and I’m a very patient person). I love her and she knows exactly what she’s doing, not just thinking in the moment but ahead to eliminate possibilities in the future. We all know this malignant, narcissistic, demon needs to be placed underneath the jail. Ppl in general really need to educate themselves and not just take things at face value. I really wish they could replay the pretrial video when she clearly advised him of the amount of experience he would face going against the prosecution (also the experience he would forfeit having representation of his own) as he adamantly insisted on representing himself, and waiving his right to counsel. Instead, he continued to spin in his chair and I do quote stated “None of that moves me,” 🤔🤔. Judge Dorow is playing chess while this damn dummy is playing checkers. Those that continue to insult her, having no clue what’s really going on, will see at “APPEAL” time. Who in there right mind would think anyone would want to deal with him, his ignorance, and elementary antics for weeks now if there wasn’t a reason to do so?????

      I agree! She's amazing. This woman hating murderer cannot stand that the DA and the judge are women. I'm frustrated that none of his prior "bad acts" can be brought up. If he wants the jury to "know the truth", his closing statements should put all of that on the record. All the violence, bail jumping, trying to run over Erika ONE WEEK prior, all 20 yrs of crime. Now THAT is relevant. I wish the bailiff/guard that's been sitting behind him every day, was given access to the n shock equipment attached to Brooks ankles. If anyone deserves to be raised, in court, for his own behaviour, it's this POS. I have zero patience for this nonsense and thank goodness Judge Dorow has a lot, so the record is protected and appeals are laughable.

    I cannot BELIEVE she let him come back into the trial room! WHY? Just because he asked? Judge says I’m NOT doing this with you? But she does, over & over, making delays this morning for over an hour, to 90 min., 4 recesses in less than 2 hours to handle this pos. All this the judge does, even with him calling her names, telling her she’s not doing her job, how she can consider herself a judge, bringing up same things, objecting to everything with ignorant causes, acting like a big baby, throwing away all copies THEN lieing he doesn’t understand, after she told him for hours how hard & very challenging representing himself will be, he thinks he has rights NOW? Every time he is kicked out she has to go over & over why, wasting time saying the the same damn things. I know she wants to avoid appeals but I truly think she goes way overboard. Prosecutors did soooo much for him but he shows all lack of appreciation going far beyond and ACCUSING them of idiotic things. I truly like the judge I saw her first on the eye drop poisoning case & those defense lawyers were very, very hard to watch, she dealt great probably because this case came first, so that one was easy in comparison!! I’m glad this pos waste of flesh is gone but I truly feel for all the victims & families of the beautiful people he killed, knowing how close the Holidays were that they had to go through them, some without loved ones & some with victims that were deeply emotionally scarred. Peace & love to them. 🙏❤️

    The State of Wisconsin, although it is an entity which represents the citizens of the state, has more than proven its case. Video shows him committing the crime. The intent was also proven as he did not stop or take a side street away from the parade route. The intent was proven when he finally stopped the car on a side street then tried to avoid being found by hiding. He wanted to hurt people because he was angry that his baby momma was no longer under his complete control. And the Reddit post sounds exactly like the garbage he has spewed in the court room. There was a man who sat behind him that was interviewed who said he was there to get "Justice for Darrell". I think he got up and left just about the time the Reddit issue came up. Mr. Brooks was behind the Reddit post, maybe using someone else to actually post.

    Since Brooks' Opening statement at the beginning of the trial was a tearful plea, announcing he never planned on intentionally killing anyone, he knew the only defense he had was going to be 'intentionally to kill the victims OR criminal negligence. Since they can't know what was in his mind, he's betting on the possibility that the jury will have reasonable doubt. If even one juror doesn't isn't fully convinced he intended to kill anyone, the verdict must be not guilty and he can't be tried on a lesser charge. He knew that from the beginning. I expect his closing argument is going to focus on his intention, rather than the evidence that it was HE who drove the SUV.

The testimony saying he was blowing his horn and trying to maneuver around some people while hitting others could cause reasonable doubt of first degree. Of course we won't know why he ended up on the the parade route so easily because of a lack of safety barriers ,i.e. cement blocks. I hope they will think of the safety of pedestrians in the future rather than worry about traffic building up by shutting down a major road access through the city.

He avoided those attempts by steering around cops, heading directly for the women in the parade. He killed 4 women, 1 man and one child and injured 61 others. How is that "trying to avoid" anyone? You need to check your "facts" before trying to provide a defense for this indefensible and horrific attack on innocent civilians. I won't even address the "concrete barrier" argument. Obviously you've never been to small town parades. It's common practice not to have those kinds of barriers available, due to budgets and manpower, and they often use police and civilian security to close down traffic.

    🤔 apparently WI has an alternate definition of bail jumping? i’m from NY and my interpretation of bail jumping is a failure to appear in court after being bailed out of jail. does this meaning vary state to state?

    • @maryb6672
      @maryb6672 Год назад +4

      Yes. It varies by state. But additionally, there are different ways (reasons) you can be charged w/bail jumping. In this case, he was charged w/“Bail Jumping”, which simply means violating conditions of his bail. One of his bail conditions was to not commit further crimes. Not appearing in court would definitely count too. Different states, different terms & charges. In the end, he’s guilty of all charges, along w/several others currently still pending trial. (Running over Erika Paterson a wk before the parade).

She went over it thoroughly, I know. But with all the changes and additions, on a form that says it would be null and void. I wish she had demanded him to redo it. If he refused? As a practicing Christian, I take issue with people who use the Bible and the Lord Jesus Christ as props. Yet, they do not live their lives in line with biblical principles. (Galatians 5:19-26) God has a perfect will and a permissive will. God does not allow us to be His puppets. He allows the devil to use a person as the person allows. Even Satan knows the words in the bible, the Word of God (Job 1:7-12). Born Again Christians have had a heart change (Romans 10:8-10). Just repeating the words will not work without a heart change. None of us knows when a person has given their life to Christ, but God knows and cannot be manipulated. Darrell Brooks has shown no remorse for murdering and maiming people. His words have been only out of concern for himself and his family.

      I couldn't believe he actually tried to tell the judge that he was "not reading a book, he was reading the book" and obviously more people need to read and live by it. After what he has done, it's clear that he has NO idea what the Bible says or what the words mean. I highly doubt that he read one word of it, it was nothing more than a prop and another act in this play he is putting on to try create doubt and make the jury and everyone else think he is a good Christian. He already proved that he is not a good Christian or even a good person in general. He proved that long before he entered the courtroom by his intentional act of murder and injury to thousands of innocent victims both physically and mentally.
