Not sure if that's a question I'd have an answer to. We are making CDs and actively selling them. We write the music. I'd say we "believe" in the music and the messages but that's just talk. Talk's cheap. I'd say our 36 tours on the road would support the idea that we believe in what we're doing more.
Thank goodness!!! I too am a Christian, actually studying to be a Methodist pastor/theologian, but I could care less if a band is Christian or not, cusses or not, etc... It's their life, we can't dictate or judge how other people live! It's all about the music and the effort they put it, which for TOTA is TOP NOTCH! Take care man, wish some other people can be as open minded as you!!!

this band and stray for the path are the two most real, emotional, intelligent and just overall incredible bands in modern metal. in my opinion of course. for this reason i know that you just have to be lucky to make it big, whether youre good or not

Yea, Grant's snare was SO distinct! But with new drummers and new producers comes new sounds! I believe the drumming on this album was the producer Andres Magnussen.
This has got to be the first time I've heard metal and it didn't make my ears bleed...o3o don' get me wrong - I love rock and punk music - but metal was something I was always kind of 'meh' about....but THIS...oh yes.....THIS works! :D Think I just fell in love with this band!

I honestly don't know, the minute I hear any rock chorus mixed in with hardcore drums, anger and screaming I automatically assume metal. And if its REALLY incoherent and extremely loud and adrenaline wired to the point I go temporarily death after listening I categorize it as death metal.
This is metalcore. It's like post-hardcore with metal influence. You could say its metal but some others would classify this more in the core spectrum. Personally, I see this as metal. It is kinda like the bridge between punk rock and metal.

A few days ago, my brother broke his collar bone riding his dirtbike. He ended up being ok later that night after we went to the hospital. He just has to wear a cast for a few weeks. Anyway, I ended up showing him this lyric video later that night. Well I swear I thought nothing of it until we got to the part in the song. But when we got to the part that's supposed to be a metaphor, "fists up if you've got broken bones!". I just looked at my brother and we both laughed so hard. Lol.
The Sound of the beautiful instruments makes me feel like I am listening to I, the Breather BUT this band is 1000% better. Really hate that they broke up.:

That would be somewhat disappointing for someone looking for the deeper messages. Im sure you guys did reading on w/e to influence your songs. Its not a religion lol Its a state of education and truth seeking. If any artist had a motive it would be to gear the listners up to get involved with the songs, Eitherway I love your tunes i think its put together well.
