They toned down his cymbals too. For Messengers and constellations I always thought they had them a little loud and with the remixes it all balanced out perfectly

I noticed the whole song sounds different. Bass seems boosted, drums aswell

I don't know. The remastering is cleaner and louder but the original still sounds better to my ears. It just has more grit making it more metal.

Constellation so far is the best album from ABR, and this song (still) one of best song i've ever heard from ABR.

My first time ever hearing this was my older playing it on guitar when I was like 11 or 12 years old(28 now) and it will always stand out. Heard it live for the first time in Little Rock two weeks ago and those memories came flooding back. This is and always will be my favorite song by them.

I believe this is the new version of the song from their recent "remixed" 10th anniversary release of Constellations. So the video is for the "new" version of the song.
@@anthonyconn5215 Right, I know the timing makes sense for the release of the remixed album, but the repackaging of a video from a decade ago (with no updates to it, understandably, but also 10 years is eons in the video production industry), is confusing. Also did they buy the rights to it from the original creators? That part is also confusing.

I honestly hate with a passion these remastering of metal albums. It sounds so mechanical and not as raw and authentic as the original :C Im glad we still have access to the original recordings though, and respect the taste of those that prefer these remastered versions

Interesting remix, definitely feel like it compliments the drums sound most effectively. those toms sound more natural, and the snare sits way nicer in the balance

Perfect song for spooktober
Saw 'em live at Fillmore (Silver Spring, MD). Amazing as usual, except that they seemed to be washed out or "tired" of the tour life. Met JB at the after party event (really cool guy). He had a hard time with explaining why the rest of the band didn't show up. Seems like they're looking for something new. Totally understandable in my book.
They slayed in Tampa. At this point in their lives though, they all have families they're away from so maybe you just caught them when they were down, missing loved ones.
