2024 anyone?
I here!
hell yea
Yo what’s good
2026 even 🫠

Back when I was really into bodybuilding, this was THE best heavy lifting song. Try failing a set while Jake is screaming "IT SEEMS LIKE YOU'RE GIVING UP ON EVERYTHING YOU WORKED FOR". It's impossible
Listened to this before every ice hockey game on full blast in the locker room. Talk about Motivation.
So many times if I got hit, I would hear this song just resonate in my brain "pull it together!"
😂 seriously
I cant wait to hit the gym
And now you quit bodybuilding and gave up on everything you worked for.
Me when I was 16 and I listened to this song for first time: HOLY F*CK
Me, today, listening to this same song after 14 years listening to metal music: *HOLY F*CK*

I Gotta say. As a black dude who only listened to Urban music coming up, coming from a COMPLETLY different culture. THIS Song here.... Let's say metalcore became a genre and a culture I hold dear in my heart.. This band got me through some tough times man... I'm tearing up typing this. If I was asked what would be some items I would want to put in my casket, this album would unquestionably be one of them. 🤘🏿
Love it! Good to see fans of all kinds brother
Not much people can see the power of metal, and I can say that I can 110% relate to what you're saying. Rock on brother 🤘

Great to hear, brother! This is a special band (and song) indeed ❤️
I love how music can be such a unifier and transcend race, religion, etc...

Their drummer is an absolute demon. The power he drives just permeates throughout the band. It's fucking amazing.

Roll down those sleeves
Don't let them see how you've coped

I discovered ABR at 17. I was searching for songs from different bands to download for my mp3 player and 'Composure' was listed first from 'top 20'. I fell in love right away. I'm now 25 and still a HUGE fan of ABR. Always and forever!

Hard to believe that this band started out practicing in a hen house.
Lol. Matt greiner is a country boy farmer and at the same time one of the sickest drummers in metalcore. Gotta love these guys.
ABR the type of band to turn someone from nothing to something.
They helped me for sure
Saved my life the first time I heard them with spirit breaker and built me with everything else. So as the kids say #facts

First song I ever heard from this band, and it fossilized so much of my appreciation for this genre that day. The drumming is insane, the lyrics are so heartfelt and meaningful, and the band is so dedicated. Thank you guys so much, this is one of my favorite songs of all time. :-)

I think even more amazing than the fact that ABR has been making awesome music for so long, is the fact that they haven't had a single member change. This dudes are dedicated af.
Difference between good and evil. And this band defeats evil with every song.
They had a singer change after literally their first album
Shadows are security, fall of ideals, and this album defined my teenage years. Will never stop listening.

3:09 I almost broke my neck with that heavy breakdown and the riffs ;D
I was like 15 when this song came out. I remember I was going through a hard transition during that time in my life, and this song literally saved my life from suicide. A few things I was going through was Peer pressure, depression, anxiety, finding my identity in Christ on my own, bullying in school, rejection from girls at the time, etc. I still struggle with depression and anxiety to this day, but I’ve learned healthier ways to combat it as I continue to get older. I find this very interesting considering my wife today is a licensed clinical counselor.
Imagine how weird it must've been recording this. All playing without electricity
Mathy they’re all probably just rocking out to Matt’s drums and Jake’s vocals hahaha
Mathy or maybe they brought some kind of generator, would love to find out how they did it 😁

Hearing this track for the first time, was the first time I ever heard metalcore (or whatEVER!!) and I felt fuckin mindblown it was soooooo freakin good and still is.
I never get tired of this band and especially not this track, even though its been like 3-4 years I heard it the first time.

I've listened to a lot of good progressive metal music in my life and have fallen in love with many breakdowns, but the breakdowns in this song will forever be my favourite . Chills everytime .
One of the best metalcore songs of all time
This is not prog kid, this is the one of the best metalcore song u will ever hear, and ofc the breakdowns are on the menu
Still get the same feeling that i did in 2010 looking out the bus window otw to school. 'Wave goodbye to youre past, you've got you're whole life to lead'
I’ve seen these guys live twice and holy shit was it an experience. I haven’t seen too many bands be able to sound exactly the same live as they do on their album but ABR accomplished exactly that. Their drummer is a damn beast too. Thankful to them for making such great music that I spent my teen years listening to.
The ending guitar lick thingy is so fun to play!
the sight of all of those cabs is heavenly
This band is helping me quit drinking. The singer has an awesome book out (a daily devotional) and it’s for recovering addicts/addicts in general. Can I get a like for people trying to better they lives and owe it to people like this?💪👍

Different Eras have been passed and I'm still hooked into this masterpiece.
I got to meet these guys 2 weeks ago. they are very humble. it was honor to talk to them a moment I won't forget one of the best shows I've seen. I'm getting ready to see them again for 10th time in February. if you have not seen them live do it. They will always be my favorite band.
scott Benson me too bro. I saw them at the legends of the fall tour with erra, silent planet and make them suffer. I was at the very front row so it was freaking amazing. my ears rang for like 3 or four days after lol.
roll down those sleeves, don't let them see how you've coped. I've been listening to this song for close to a decade now and I never realised how much it applied to drug abuse til I lived it. god dammit. what a great song.
This song is so amazing! I just can't get enough of it.
took me almost 15 years to understand this song fully. This was my comfort song in high school, which is saying a lot because All Shall Perish had a death grip on me.
When I play this song, I feel like they're about to rip through my speakers at any second... it's just that hard-hitting
7 years later but I agree. :D
This is the song that got me through the darkest 3 years of middle school. I suffered from clinical depression and this is the song I clinged to at the time. It's amazing to reflect on it looking back on it, and that God was right there in the midst even when I didn't realize it.
