It is a technique called pavè. First holes are drilled then channels are carved
to form small “prongs”. The stones are placed in the holes and the prongs are pushed over the stone holding it in place. It is a very popular technique used in jewelry for many decades if not centuries. You can find videos on RUclips that explain it in more detail. Hope this helps :)

Estaba pensando, si empiezas con un modelo impreso en 3d o con Sla, por qué no lo seccionas a la mitad y también lo unes a la torre como lo haces a posterior? Hola Pablo, en el minuto 3:06 se ve que utilizas hierro cloruro solucion 39% para oscurecer la plata, el caso es que yo he intentado buscar la patina más negra posible y no lo he conseguido ni con lejía, ni con el hígado de azufre, se me queda marrón muy oscuro que se suele apreciar cuando paso luz blanca encima de la pieza, no se si fallo en la temperatura para que disminuya el tiempo de patinado y pues quería preguntarte si sabes algún método para poner la plata lo más negra posible y como hacerlo, te lo agradecería un montón, un saludo Pablo. :)
Hola ;) quizás es el tipo de aleación de plata que estás utilizando que es antioxidante
gracias por responder, jeje, el caso es que no está rodiada, crea una patina pero no llega a quedarse negra como en una pieza que tengo, lo probé en varias piezas, pero como la patina la creo con lejía, no se queda negra del todo, es gris oscuro o marrón muy oscuro, por eso, ¿sabes algún método o producto para crearle la patina negra?

Saw this on FB. Why did you saw your wax model in half down the edge?? Your flask was large enough and that's a really good vacuum casting machine so I cant see any issues with the cast. How well dose black Diamond hold up in silver pavé settings?
I divided it in half to eliminate weight. But can cast directly too but more weight and no confortable to wear. And yes the pavé setting hold stones in place with little grains of metal. Thank you for your commnet!!!
no Pave settings hold stones in by cutting a bearing seat with a round burr or a 90 degree setting burr, then bright cutting the sides and lifting 4 prongs then formed into round beads on top of the stone. the question was how well are those setting holding up using a really soft but also brittle metal like silver with a really hard stone like diamond?

I did repairs for a long time and I found diamonds, even CZs, and silver never held up.
