Amazing movie with feels that could move mountains. ;__; If there was an anime movie to show a friend who doesn’t know anything about anime, this is it. Sheets, Midi, and easy version on: www.patreon.com/animepiano
If you loved the movie I highly recommend the manga it's based off of. The movie was fantastic, but it left out a lot of character interactions and developments. Even has a different ending too!
For those who you don't know what is shown in the manga, let me break it down for you: - Ishida had more backstory with his 2 childhood friends - More siblings story (now and past) between Nishimiya and her sister - Nishimaya became suicidal since her childhood, and his sister aware of it - Nishimiya's sister tooks photos of dead animals/insects to show Nishimiya that it is bad to be death - The group made a movie project (the movie has a HUGE part in the manga story) - More back story/character development for every person in the group (there is an entire chapter that filled with the back stories of every person of the group, including Ishida and Nishimiya) - Ueno had a crush to Ishida since childhood, that's why she always mad and became jealous to Nishimiya - Ishida and his 2 childhood friends will get along in the end - The manga ends with Ishida holding Nishimiya's hand when they are about to enter the reunion hall of their school friends
Yea I was kinda sad they took out the making-a-movie part, but the anime explained most of the parts you listed. For example the reason why Yuzuru takes pictures of dead animals, Ueno's crush on Ishida, and why she didn't like Nishimiya.
You got to understand....it's a 2 hour movie...they had to put what...60 or 70 chapters of manga into 2 hours. they HAD to cut a lot of material, and a lot of the material they cut was incidental at best.
Despite it didn't fully adapted the manga into the movie, Kyoto Animation still delivered one of the best anime movie of all time, A Silent Voice is a masterpiece! :)

A famous Japanese poet once taught his students that the correct Japanese translation for "I love you" is "Tsukki ga Kirei" (the moon is beautiful). Hence, in traditional Japanese culture, "Tsukki ga Kirei" can also be a form of confession. It is unknown whether Nishimiya understood this, and was so embarassed as a result.

Dude I'm crying so hard hard now. This is my favorite music and favorite soundtrack ever and you played this so perfectly. Thank you.
I'm really glad that you posted a cover of a song from this movie. I read the manga and was a huge fan.
Am I the only one who cries whenever i see this or hear the music? ._.
Came because the title was "lit" (even though I haven't watched the anime)
Had my expectations dashed
Still enjoyed the song tho
its so lit
This song is called Lit but it fucking shattered my heart, not make me dance along with the music.
My heart is crying, again and again. You play it so well, in a very sensitive and delicate way... Thank you.
Incredibly powerful piece. I watched it three times over and was moved to tears. Wow. Just wow. It's like watching the movie all over again.
What is this ?
Why am I crying?

This is probably the best arrangement of Lit.
I love this piece....
Even though I know nothing about this anime, I just want to cry for no reason while hearing this song.
Ishter , you are amazing.
Definitely not streamlined like Kimi no Na Wa, but still such a solid movie. Thank you ishter for acknowledging it.
OAAAA OEEE OAA OEOO
-NISHIMIYA
her words still more meaningful than Emiya Shirou's

"People die when they are killed"
ömer soykıran The Archer Class really is made up of Archers!
ömer soykıran I really hate all the hate for shirou
Between Koe no Katachi and Kimi No Na Wa, I prefer KnK :)
Dr Hans Chucrute same
kimi no na wa and koe no kaatachi shares the 1st place in my heart.
Dr Hans Chucrute I love both the movies
i can't even rank such masterpieces. Ahh i'm so thankful they made both
I wouldn't compare those two, they are bth unique :)
5 months later and I still can't listen to "lit" without crying. I hope I can forgive myself in the future just like Shoya did. Thank you for this cover, hit me in the feels.
Idk what is this but it helped so much in my pre exam anxiety. Thank you!
