So this week I checked out another song by The Warning. I really really enjoyed this one and have been playing it quite often since recording this video. What did you think of it?
For next week, I thought maybe you guys can give me some ALL female groups. Not just the lead singer, but the whole band.. I will put maybe..4? in the poll tomorrow (check the community tab on my channel to vote).
I get super excited when I'm replaying a song that you guys suggested to me...so please keep 'em coming. I really do love the little community we're building on music suggestions! 🎵🎧

Not only has The Warning deservedly taken over the internet in the past year, they've proven to be one of the absolute best live bands of this generation.

The Warning is the epitome of passion.
I'm a 76 year old boomer. I was in college during the heyday of the classic guitar bands, Cream, The Beatles and Stones, the Who, and Led Zeppelin and aside from LZ, I saw them all live. The Warning has a bigger, beefier sound, and put on a better show. They are frickin rock-n-roll renaissance or revival.

The Warning’s music has pushed me out of my indifference to the current music scene. I’m 64 and hadn’t purchased concert tickets in decades. Despite the venue being 4 hours away, I bought tickets to see them open for Three Days Grace in Vancouver ( TDG was OK too) Loved them live…Money very well spent.

Animosity is my 2nd favorite song of the album, I hate my ex soo much that I love Animosity hahahaha

My favorite song from the newest album. I saw them live last year. Best performers I've ever seen in person and I'm old enough to have seen some of the greats as far back as the 70s and 80s.
Please, go ahead and compare the songs. This song was not one of my favorites on the album. But this video is one of my absolute favorite live performances by them, ever. The sass is even better in this live show. Good, bad, better, worse is all subjective. It was nice hear your thoughts. These ladies are indeed legit, and so so good live. Their talent does not need the studio tricks.
The all-female poll would be great.
I think with many artists the hierarchy of which songs you prefer to others changes over time. That certainly happened with me with The Warning. But, as everyone says, there are no BAD songs.

Animosity is proably a top 5 favorite TW song for me, though it is so hard to rank them! So many of their songs are well loved, and that is so rare!

Dany’s g uitar tone is great, I completely agree. Thanks for doing this one, these live spots from this concert are unmatched. You’d certainly like Disciple as well, they have a music video of it, but the live track from this concert set the bar so high, and they get a bit of audience participation, it shows the massive charisma these ladies have. I’ll be sure to vote, whichever way you end up doing it.

There are some really good all-female bands, like Band Maid (Japanese) nand Voice of Baceprot (Indonesian). I believe The Warning are fans of both. I know The Warning and Band-Maid were playing the same festival in California last summer and they met for the first time and shade a moment of mutual respect, which was cool. There is also Plush, a US band. Monica Formica, their lead vocalist and guitarist is also friends with The Warning. There was a concert last summer when TW was touring with Halestorm that Monica was spotted hanging out backstage while TW was performing.
Add to that list Conquer Divide which is another all female rock/metal band and Gacharic Spin another Japanese female band that has elements of rock, jazz, funk and pop in their music.
I've never heard The Warning mention VoB before. An instagram post? It wouldn't surprise me, the two groups have some interesting similarities.
It’s Moriah Formica, but you’re right, Plush is a powerhouse all female band. I’d love to see Plush and The Watning on a double- headlining tour.
@@stevepadilla8398I'd like to see Warning and Plush tour together. But Plush has a good deal of catching up to do for co-headlining. And if you use 2022 as a reference and what we know of 2023, they're more falling behind than catching up.

I liked Evolve, Choke, Disciple, Money and Z immediately.
It took me a minute to warm up to Animosity. Still not sure about Error, Kool Aid Kids or Amour.
23, Breathe, Revenant and Martirio are beautiful.
Error is maybe a little cliche but you have to have a song on that topic to justify the absolutely genius album cover art

Ale does it on several songs. Right at a pause, she dropped a note down the fret board. Sounds great.

I got to see them on Aug 13th 2022 in Richmond VA. Just around 150 people. WOW!!!. Their videos on RUclips.

This song live blew me away -- it was the first pro live recording from their current era (I have seen them live, and yes, they are spectacular, but they've improved even more since I saw them). But I've heard 5 more (2 of them are public), and if anything they're better. I think Disciple is the best: ruclips.net/video/Wo0odllVq8g/видео.html. Dany works the crowd into an absolute frenzy. There's also Enter Sandman (ruclips.net/video/vg9vNE7gm0I/видео.html). It's the iconic Metallica song, all right...except that it isn't. Everyone who fancies themselves at all metal covers it, usually with stylistic adaptations. The Warning remade it as their own. It was commissioned for the Metallica Blacklist album; it's the first track by accident of positioning on the original album and artist names, but it certainly saves the best for first.
This song is about a falling out Pau had someone (one thing I've seen suggests that it was some friends who were unhappy with her because she didn't stay for a sleepover party because they had a gig the next day). So yes, definitely sassy. "If karma doesn't hit you then I will" is right up there. Narcisista's another such, their first song in Spanish.
They really are better live than studio. They write songs with the intent of performing them, then figure out how to add something more.

Disciple is a song I hope you check out. It really show cases all three ladies. A song with a message, Ale's killer bass line, The harmonies of all three, The duet between Dany and Pau, the great fills on the drums and the melodic guitar riffs. These three wonderful ladies are great role models as well. They have family values and have surrounded themselves with a great team. Hi Nikki! The Warning are one of the few bands that even better live than in the studio. They just released another song from this concert called "Disciple" from their newest album, "Error". AND if you are looking for all female bands that rock, you already have The Warning. But, how about also, Band-Maid (from Japan), Rolling Quartz (from Japan also) and The Sixsters (Teenage girls from Ukraine that are currently in Germany to escape the war).

The Warning has a couple of other songs from this show (Teatro Metropolitan) available now - 'Disciple' and their version of 'Enter Sandman', which is on Metallica's _Blacklist_ album. Metallica told them to play it upside down or backwards or whatever and they did, remaking it into their own song.

There are four all female bands I would recommend, Plush, Baceprot, Zaparella (a Led Zeppelin tribute) and Cobra Spell; that’s in no particular order!

The thing with The Warning is that they’ve grown learning to play both, the three together and the three planning always the same way, for that they evolved playing always the same way for every song and using metronome, so they always play the songs the same tempo, and actually it’s harder to play that way, ‘cause it demands way much more precision, so they grew up and learned to play like session musicians, and session musicians are actually the best ones, those that tend to play with more precision, so yes, there’s no variation from the studio recording, rehearsal, studio session or live performance, they ALWAYS play exactly the same, BUT of course at a live performance there’s much more energy involved, so yes, they even sound stronger and better playing live.
Animosity is the song that hooked me to The Warning, and it's still my favorite one from the Villareal sisters. Such a perfect blend of honest, earthy rock and catchy passages. All of that highlighted by the passionate lyrics. Whenever I hear Animosity in my car, I increase the volume and sing along as loud as I can. 🔥🤘⚡

This entire Teatro Metro set is so killer. It's 1:45 of awesome rock. It's on my every day work playlist.
I'm not sure who pissed off Pau so bad that they inspired her to write this song, but I'm kind of glad they did. The lyrics are so strong. "I always gave too much, it was never enough".
This song/video is 10s across the board. It's a perfect song, and a perfect performance. And it has the mother of all choruses.
It's very dangerous to piss off Pau like that; you're going to get a song written about you.

The way I understand it, Pau was invited to a birthday party and its follow-on sleepover. Pau went to the party but not the sleepover since The Warning had a gig the next day. The birthday girl was quite put out by this decision, saying something along the lines of "why are you bothering with that, its not going to go anywhere" which obviously did not sit well with Pau....

These three talented sisters are show just what is possible when you work hard and follow your dreams while sticking to your values. So many recording companies wanted to change their look and their sound and we're so glad The Warning turned them all down. I highly recommend that you check out their song Dust to Dust (Live at Lunario CDMX) it is my all time favorite song from them; all of their songs are my favorite but Dust to Dust just tips out all the others by a little bit.
If you're looking for Female bands try the incredibly brave and talented young women from VOB (Voice of Baceprot) from Indonesia, perhaps starting with their song - God, Allow Me (Please) To Play Music or any one of their many covers. The Warning is my Top band but VOB are a great band to that really stand for something that they also really believe in and they also have a passion for their music just like The Warning.
Other All female bands: Band-Maid and Lovebites from Japan are both fantastic
One of my favorites by TheWarning,TOP 10 Worthy.And one of their sings that is from their actual life.Pau wrote this about a former friend.She explained in a Live how this song helped her get closure ,and she is over it and past it now.

The warning is the greatest
Even though they've broken up recently, another all female rock band is Plush and they also rock. The lead singer of Plush is a friend of The Warning. Plush had four members. Lead guitar, rhythm guitar , bass, drums. 🤘

@@kohlmcmullen Drummer Brooke Colucci left the band to explore a new project. That was August last year. Not sure what's going on with the rest of the band. I haven't seen or heard anything from them since. Then again, I'm not that up to speed on what's going on with them since Brooke's split.

great song, great crowd, I hope to see them myself someday...I could name a ton of bands with female vocalists, but other than the Go Go's, Our Lips Are Sealed or the Bangles cover of Hazy Shade of Winter, I'm not sure you'd like Konvent, all female band, heavy music but harsh vocals only I'm afraid, but incase you decide to check them out, their song Puritan Masochism might be ok

They have a good sound crew & technician. That live version is better than other versions including studio. The effects on Dany's voice is one difference. Plus the crowd interaction. I liked watching fondness build in your face. They have good ideas.
I did not see anyone mention Cobra Spell..they just signed with Napalm. Their guitar player Noelle has done reactions on and is a fan of TW. ;)

You want all female bands. Lovebites is all female , and has already been in your polls. Nemophila and Band Maid are 2 more, all 3 are Japanese. Burning Witches is another, from Europe.
One other all-female band is "Band Maid" from Japan. They are a large band and very good too.

All female bands that are current? Sure: The Beaches, Haim, The Warning of course, and then the j-metal bands like Lovebites, Nemophila, Band-Maid
Not all female band mates, but you should check out Larkin Poe ... and also Wet Leg ...
... I know ... those 2 bands have quite nothing in common, but I still like their music
