This sounds like such a great isekai! What i really like, aside from the good characters and writing is the world building. Brilliant how the mangaka used real-world science and magic in this. The way he came up with the idea to use fertilizer to grow crops was brilliant and even better with Alchemy since in our world , alchemy was the basis for what became chemistry.
The only antagonist I know of is the SOB married to the sister. The 2 brothers make valied points but both are comfortable in their lives and don't want to push for prosperity. I truly think if the 3rd prince moves forward in they become prosperious, the brotheres will still come to his defense in the end. It is only a predicition and could be wrong.
This is one heck of a story. Hero was Isekai-d and now is the Third Prince of Caltarossa. There is a rivalry between his two older brothers. He is helping his people because the land is too, dry or will not grow much. The Church has outlawed Alchemy. I am interested and curious about what is going to happen next. So when available, please! Thanks for all your hard work!
Why did he have to cut the tree down? They could have just worked around it. Also, he could have at least attempted to help the golem live longer. He didn’t even ask about it.
What @Martin-kt7cp said. I speak from experience: They suck up moisture in the soil to a degree like you wouldn't believe unless you've actually tilled the soil near one and tried growing vegetables next to it. Also, tree roots can make it much more difficult to till the soil. *Further,* a large tree creates lots of shade, blocking much-needed sunlight from nearby crops (depending on which side the crops are and the time of day).
@@XpaceTrueIf you only have short rooted crops, the water is drawn through capillary action which salinates the surface soil. It's still better to leave a few refuges of trees, the birds they harbour helps ti nitrate the soil, the insects they harbour dilutes the pesticide resistant mutations out of the population. Yes, they do draw on surrounding water but this could be limited by root pruning around the tree so that most of the roots goes deep hence preventing soil salination. Having rows of trees also offers windbreaks creating milder microclimates and the roots helps prevent soil erosion when there are heavy rains and floods. Sure it would be inconvenient to have the tree there but the long term benefits of a few refuges outweighs the inconvenience in the long run and it is just one tree.
Yeah, he probably should've asked the golem if they could somehow add more mama to extend the golems life but perhaps it would take longer than five days for Hero to both learn how to as well as develop to be strong enough to do so. Not every battery is rechargeable or replaceable.
I guess most younger people don't know. But the actual word for a compilation of knowledge is an encyclopedia. "Wikipedia" is a play on that. Wiki (user-edited web pages) + pedia (for encyclopedia).
If you cut down the tree because it blocks sunlight and because of its roots with the nutrients, how are they gonna pull out the stump? They live in a medieval era but what are they gonna use to pull them out?
All he has to do is go back with his sister for an evening, and feign shock, when the Prince is found at the bottom of hte Keep. He must have slipped and jumped out the window 200 ft in the air Whoopsie DAISY!... So sad.... so sad.
I like this story, it has magic, allot of drama, some comedy, & a little bit of action. I like the main character, he is a hard working teen boy, very caring, he has magic, lives by a moral-code, and he has amazing alchemist skills. In addition like the two side characters, I also like the other characters, and so I hope more gets made of it.
So, with how useful it is, why would alchemy be taboo? It can produce crops, make weapons and armor stronger than conventional methods, make non-cursed magic weapons, form constructs with limited autonomy, and imbue traits from its base matter. Either miasma has side-effects Hero hasn't run into yet, it's very easy to screw up if it requires as precise intentions as programming, or it's a threat to someone's power base.
You call that a beautiful sword? Its looks the rats ate a porrion of it and has a slight notch like the kukri but without curving the blade for its benefits. Not only is that notch ugly it compromies the structure of the blade.
What a good story! Is not kinda brain-dead or higly predictable like most of this kind. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of it!

Why did he have to cut the tree down? They could have just worked around it. Also, he could have at least attempted to help the golem live longer. He didn’t even ask about it.
You can’t have a giant tree in the middle of farm land with roots that stretch out far and wide sucking up water and nutrients.

Ah yes, the Unique Mythical Power of 'Wikipedia'.
Cept his can’t be edited by some rando for shits and giggles

Is they’re going to be more parts?
Imagine how a physics got reincarnated ( understanding natural law = OP magic )
The question now is: can a knight sworn to her prince become his wife? Cause the chemistry between these two is perfect.
You gotta chill out on the thumbnails homie

Its just like nuke, it benefits the people a lot but its also a weapon of mass destruction and also the cleanest energy around in terms of performance
