Love that 9.9 Yamaha on your boat! I bought a prototype 21 from a guy who ended up showing Two Rivers how a no thwart model could be built. I had a 5 hp on it and that was way too small! But those worked on the 18s he made.
@Bark Gofly sir that us awesome! Displacement hauls don't go super fast but boy are they efficient! I should have kept one of my 6 freighters but the layup of these prototype boats put them north of 300 pounds for the 21 and 18 foot boats. And here in ohio no one appreciated a freighter canoe and I lost my butt on the business.
Thank you . I really enjoyed that. Especially the still photo of the 2 dogs running side by side , enjoying life .
That's a great video Mark. Sure do miss Maine.
Beautiful video loved it.

Can get roughly 15 to 17mph, about a 100 miles on 6 gallons at cruising speed. Moosehead and Wyman Lakes…

Awesome video Mark!
Beautiful! Loved my freighter but hated the weight. What lake?
What kind of speed and range do you get with your set up? I assume the Yamaha can go the distance on minimum fuel
Can you climb aboard in one these from the water? Say, if you had a rope ladder..
Yes, absolutely…
Hi. Q: Is the Scott 21 model by Abitibi a good hull? As good as a Scott or Maine Freighter? thx
Yes, from the ones I’ve seen a nice boat!
