  • Hey y'all! I'm back down in Florida as of writing this, but I was just recently up in Michigan for a few weeks, so here's one of a few videos I was able to film. This was at one of my favorite fossil hunting locations with ‪@MichiganRocks‬ and our friend Sam. Hope you enjoy!

    When you can look at a bunch of ugly rocks & point out what makes them special & unique, that's pretty awesome. As a child I was fascinated by geodes & crystals, they seemed metaphorical to me, in terms of how quick we are to judge people based solely on their outward appearance. I found some beautiful fossilized shells in California. My favorite ones were dumped into a storage unit. If my gps had been working, I would have gone treasure hunting last time I was in Michigan

    Awesome adventure! If you weren't aware, wool keeps you warm even when it's dripping wet. You might be able to find a pair of gloves that is fingerless with a fold over mitten. I used to use them salmon fishing from my kayak in frigid water.

    That is the coolest area! I love all the fossils just eroding out of the rocks! So many awesome ones! And the Blastoids, Incredible! They all are incredible and the beach too? Those giant gastropods were amazing! I've never seen one that big before! So cool! And all the lake worn coral were gorgeous! All the small ones you picked up would have to come home and take a ride in the tumbler and those cladopora rocks were absolutely gorgeous! Even big, a couple of those cladopora rocks would most definitely have to come home with me! I love these collaborations with you and Sam and Rob! They are awesome! Thanks Kyle!❤

    Pretty wild.....Those pointy bits of fossil are Horn Coral, but down in Florida that be a gator tooth, or maybe a Dire Wolf claw. LOL Timestamp 16:19......Hmmm that rock to the right of the one you picked up, at a glance would look like a dream Meg tooth if it was down South.

      @WILDKYLE  8 месяцев назад +7

      Hey Kelly! I didn't study in college, but I sure did study a whole lot on my own. Lots of reading paired with a combination of getting out in the field to look for fossils helped get me where I am today. I still have a LOT to learn!
