When you go to the history of mydoll enterteiment (label) and pink fantasy you will understand who daewang is. The idea of wearing a mask is very clever, to make a mark and been identificable for new people (the group with the rabbit mask girl). You can discover her true identity if you think a little. She is amazing and deserve to accomplish everything.
As inSomnia and multifandom since 08, im really into this group !🤩❤ their VOCALSSSSs . anyway their debut song are cuteeee a bit creepy which I love lmao, so far their song are best
I love them but you're so right about the comparisons thing, literally whenever a female artist (kpop or otherwise) has a rock vibe people will immediately compare them to another one. Like if I had a pound for the number of bands who I heard compared to Paramore who had literally nothing in common with them I would be a rich bitch.
I think the comparison between groups like dreamcatcher, pixy, pink fantasy, rolling quartz, and purple kiss has to do more with the concept. I mean yes, there is the rock elements in there as well and for some people that's the only connection. but at least the way I look at it is that these are the groups that have taken a new approach to dark concepts. instead of going the "typical" route for girlgroups and having a girlcrush concept, these groups actually go much darker with lore, mythology, cult, etc. elements, which they pair with rock-influenced songs to add to that concept (I find it to be reminiscent of some older boygroups like vixx, especially pink fantasy's poison). for the most part, I think they're grouped together not because they sound alike, but because they're really the only groups at the moment that fall into that niche in kpop so you can't help but connect them to each other. also, regarding the hidden member thing: the bunny member's name is daewang. they're basically from the future and have various powers, including the ability to control the other members of pink fantasy. I don't know too much about it but as far as I know, the member will be revealed when pink fantasy gets their first win. until then, daewang will remain a mysterious bunny for all their activities
yes fr people see a similar concept and can’t differentiate that from having similar songs. or don’t even bother listening to the songs. they just jump to the “x is copying x!” stuff :/
Fandom name. LUVIT. why you ask. In korean its pronounced RUBIT. Rabbit as in Daewang as in Rabbit from Alice In Wonderland their concept. And as fans WE LUVIT.
Finally you gals reaction Pink Fantasy poison ! This song really very amazing and catchy ! Make me listen this song many times everyday! They should keep this style ! And dreamcatcher will come back on 30july please keep support dreamcatcher!
This MV is really interesting. I enjoyed the entire concept. And GODDAMNIT, who is the brunette with short hair? Wow, she stole my attention. They did such a great job.
This song really surprised me with PF... The girls never went so dark but it fits them so well! The song that's closest to this one is Fantasy. Another really good song is Iriwa, their debut and Shadow Play, subunit song. These two have a diffrent concept tho. The mv for Poison is sadly very low budget because the girls aren't successful a lot but I think they did an amazing job even with the 2 whole sets they had 🙃 I can already see the girls getting more attention with this song and they really deserve it~ And the hidden member, Daehwang, is supposed to be revealed after their first music show win so I guess she's mostly like a marketing thing lol. But the girl isn't forced to do this, she does it voluntarily so luckily the company doesn't treat them badly or forcefully in any way. (at least I think so) Thank you for coming to my pep talk.
I personaly hate when people say to not compared groups. Comparing them is the only way to know in witch bag put them. I mean if I enjoy Dreamcatcher is more probably that I will enjoy Pink Fantasy and maybe not a group like "insert cute concept group" also is the same with for example Twice and Oh my girl, they wont be in the same bag that Pixy or Purple kiss. The same way goes with music genre in general, when I started to listen to music I fall for Nu metal first, them Metal and Rock, and a lot of nu metal bands were "similar" and we could say "This band is like this other band" and nobody was angry about that it was more like "Cool I will check that one" Also if we can make a festival 3 days long , 1 day can be "Dark/Rock concept" and you have 4 or 5 groups. the next day "Girl crush/edm/rap concept" and you have a lot of groups. The last day "Cute/balad concept" and you have another list. Not sure if I`m clear what I trying to say.
Please u react to their latest comeback , it's called " Get out " plus they dropped another song called " The game " it's a dance performance video ! both of them are good , hope u check them out again ! ^^
Their other songs are definitely different. The closest would be "Fantasy", it also has rock elements, but it's definitely not as heavy as "Poison". They just completed their trilogy which consists of "Iriwa (Come Here)", "Fantasy", and "Poison". The rock really only comes up in "Fantasy" and "Poison". Their other songs are all subunit songs and there's also a side project (Lemon Candy) where they experiment with other genres. The trilogy story line is about a rabbit that lures them into wonderland (hence the Alice in Wonderland concept) and basically mind controls/traps them there. The song titles are pretty self explanatory, Iriwa (Come Here) (the rabbit luring them)->Fantasy (the members being trapped in a fantasy/wonderland) -> Poison (the members falling under the rabbit's control). The rabbit (named Daewang, or "The Great King") in the group is a hidden member that will be revealed with their first win. People have speculated about who the rabbit is, from a rotating slot for new members to get used to being in a kpop group without the pressures of having a known face, to the rabbit being the CEO herself. I personally believe the rabbit's a member who been the same person since debut (and isn't the CEO lol). Their other songs include "Shadow Play", "Lemon Candy", "아름답지 않아" (honestly one of my favorite ballads, IT'S SO GOOD", and "12 o'clock". You'll see alot of other members in literally every other mv that's not Poison due to the fact that the group is prone in lineup changes. The group is created by the CEO (who's an ex-idol) to give an opportunity to girls who want to either continue their kpop careers, or want to take a step into the kpop opportunity. They take pretty much anyone who wants to join the group, and allows anyone to leave for any reason. This is why the lineup has changed so many times. There are four consistent members throughout the group's life span, who are: Seea, Yechan, Arang, and Harin. That being said, my bias in the group is Yechan (the short haired one Esosa was asking for the name of). I firmly believe that she is one of the best female vocalists in kpop right now. She has her own youtube channel where she uploads covers, it shouldn't be too hard to find. I actually bought 2 of each version for this album, so 4 total... and let's just say, I've never seen any other album that comes with a selection of random CDs. As in, each CD has a chance of being a different member on it, just insane with the amount of effort they put into this. Side note: Ahaha I also have Rolling Quartz's jacket and 6 of their album, and already pre-ordered DC's upcoming albums... I also have like 5 of Pixy's album so I think it's safe to say what type of concept/music I gravitate towards in kpop LOL
DC company under Happyface, although not a major label, will invest in their M/Vs and productions...even if they have to take out the loans to do so.... Pink Fantasy belongs to even smaller company and too bad that company does not or can not invest as much for these ladies... They are very talented... Great song!
If your going to react to more pink fantasy i suggest react first to the 2 song inside their concept which is Iriwa and Fantasy. And after that you can react to the other releases. Of yeah they did those releases not juat because member change they did it for the fans so they wont get dries up out of content while they are establishing their Poison.
I guess you can excuse the empty MV with the fact that they are a really small group from a rather poor entertainment. MyDoll Entertainment tries their best to keep up with the MVs. They also had a lot of member changes wich is also hard to compensade as a group and company
Yeah, makes sense but honestly the music slaps and that is the most important. Didn’t know they had a lot of member changes. What’s the history on that? Do you know?
@@DifferentlyAlike Their Original lineup consisted of Daewang, Aini, SeeA, Yechan, Harin, Arang and Hesun. They created a Sub-Unit called Pink Fantasy Shy and added a guest member named Yubeen. Well, the groups mentioned can be categorised into one group. It's like watching something from that group reminds of another group, but not particularly similar. PIXY has dark concepts like Dreamcatcher too, but the storyline is wayyy different. That's one example. Reminds us of another group but not particularly similar. (girl with short hair is Yechan, she's the main vocalist and my bias)
i'm up for a babymetal reaction. also i hate it when some immature insomnias call pink fantasy a dreamcatcher rip off, i love dreamcatcher they are my ultimate stan, but rock/metal is for everyone to use. Also, this track by pink fantasy is heavier than any dreamcatcher title track i've heard and i hope they continue doing that. Dreamcatcher isn't even the first girlgroup to infuse rock on their songs. There's a kpop girlgroup who did it first but got into controversy because of nazi imagery. All i'm saying is, every group has their own charm, pink fantasy injecting rock in their music doesn't make them a dreamcatcher rip off. I'm saying this because i've seen a lot of comments in other reactions that they are a rip off and it's sad that it might damage the reputation of dreamcatcher and it's fanbase.
@Chris R well i consider no more and my way heavy, but i was talking about korean title tracks not b sides. I listened to every dc tracks including the b sides, i can't say they have bad songs, none at all, i love every dc songs but when it comes to korean title tracks and being heavy, this song by pink fantasy takes trophy of being heavy for a korean title track. not even idol rock bands i have heard a scream and a breakdown riffs in a song. It's like this Dreamcatcher title tracks - alternative rock with edm synths Poison by pink fantasy - techno industrial post hardcore I love both, i just hate that pink fantasy is being called a rip off for trying heavy music, especially from a fanbase where i belong.
Esosa made Dami face when Yechan came on screen. YOU HAVE A TYPE!! Shadow Play is dark and fun like this (technically by a sub-unit). I found them through SeeA who was on a show with Mamamoo before PF formed. A lot of their other songs are totally different. The masked member is supposed to be the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland and creepy/scary? but I don't get that from their lighter stuff. There's been a lot of rotation of members too. SeeA pre-PF and Mamamoo guessing if they can sing (watch the end for full Mamamoo experience): ruclips.net/video/Tg4fBenPkFo/видео.html
To me Pink Fantasy is under my observation...cos so far my ears tell me they are 2 or 3 vocalist...others members not stand out to me.. The line distribution is a bigger problem... This song has pcs of track from Good Night, Fly High..even the choreo.. Featuring a guitarist for shouting/growling is a selling point tho..and you shlild put ft (?) behind the title track....if next time they change another producer it def will effected their perf.. (neither worst or better)
@@BelllieveWav I don't think so. This is a group that I guess they know where they want to take it. But because of so many members change, it hasn't been consistent. They have so much potential but they truly need stability. I love the dark concept, and believe they should stick to it.
@@reijavmanga lol their true concept is their 1st EP. I told you their other releases are for the fans and peole who support them so they wont get dried up out of content while they deal with line up changes. Been with them since day 1.
@@reijavmanga IRIWA FANTASY AND POISON are their main trilogy on the first ep. Those other ones are just fillers while they deal with members leaving and going. Because the company is actually good at managing they dont force people to stay if they want to leave and they will welcome them back if they decide to come back.
What the problem about comparing and putting some group into same box ? They belong to something and it's obvious. This is how music work from hundreds years ago, comparison....oh this is Beethoven, oh this is Mozart. Why KPop fans make the word "Compare" to be negative ? Because they are a little bit different ? Even Korn and Linkin are totally different but they belong to NuMetal.
We had a long discussion on this. Linkin Park and Korn is not the same as Pink Fantasy and Rolling Quartz. Beethoven was heavily inspired by Mozart and rewrote some of his work. Meanwhile what we are doing here is saying oh they both use horror elements so it’s kinda the same. We have one rock band, actual band being compared to a group of vocalists and dancers. Then the other groups are maybe closer because they are kpop groups but even in sound it’s so far apart. Nothing wrong with comparing just how would you compare something that doesn’t even belong to the same genre? Pixy doesn’t even have a similar sound to Pink Fantasy or Dreamcatcher? So how does that compare? Just because the visuals are darker/the choreography is more hard doesn’t mean they are comparable. Maybe just on visuals and choreo. However at the end of the day it’s about the music and it doesn’t sound from the same house. Its especially confusing for us as a reaction channel because people said “react to Pixy it’s like Dreamcatcher” and it creates an expectation that cannot be met. We then look for the similarities and lol there aren’t any. Pixy, Rolling Quartz, Dreamcatcher and Pink Fantasy. Lmao all different. The only thing that they have in common is they don’t fit the norm of South Korea’s expectation of a girl group.
@@DifferentlyAlike for me DC, pixy or PF obviously belong to same box, and I'm pretty confident with my knowledge about music especially rock and metal. It's obvious and I found similarities Simple classification: Dc : KPop + Rock/metal ✔️ PF: KPop + Rock/metal ✔️ Pixy: KPop + Rock/metal ✔️ Rolling Quartz: Rock ❌
@@DifferentlyAlike for the sake of argument, let says that I agree that they are different. So I mentioned Korn and LP to show how different they are but still the same NuMetal. Korn : Nu Metal Linkin Park : Nu Metal Korn:. LP Dj ❌. ✔️ Grow. ✔️. ❌ Rap. ❌. ✔️ Folks. ✔️. ❌ Bass. Verry Low. Normal Guitar. Heavy. Hard
I think we listened to a different Pixy song then lmao 🤣🤣 cause I fail to hear were there is rock/metal elements in Pixy - Wings. Also you do know that the Nu Metal genre that had a qualification mixing metal with other genres of music. That’s how you have Incubus, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Slipknot, System of A Down etc. All sounding vastly different from the next. They are all in the same genre of music. But one group uses added Funk melodies in their Metal and another uses Hiphop and then the next one grunge. Which is not even the same with the kpop groups mentioned because lmao Pixy - Wings, their title track is not even any type of rock music? Pixy - Wings? I need to listen to it again. I’ll get back to you. Edit: listening to it right now and it’s not even remotely rock/metal so ??
@@DifferentlyAlike youtube- pixy - wing 00:10 - 0:25 that's metal obviously, if only u understand metal 😂 Exactly, NuMetal had qualification mixing metal with other genre, that's why I put DC, PF or Pixy in the same box
From the little I know about Pink Fantasy, they formed after the dissolution of a previous K-Rock band. Then they decided to form a K-Pop band with a dark concept (although one of their main songs, "Lemon Candy", is regular modern Pop). And yes, as far as I've heard, "Poison" may be the only K-Pop song I know with growls. Metalcore growls, I'd say I wouldn't say that Pink Fantasy's songs have influences from Babymetal... The first Dreamcatcher songs do, but if I had to choose one Metal band which may resemble Pink Fantasy, or at least this song, that would probably be Amaranthe. Similar Electronic-Metal concepts, but with completely different sounds (plus PF's choreographies Vs. Amaranthe's full band set up)
i like pink fantasy because of their influence in metal and i hope to god they stay like tht because i sow their other mv and its not for except fantasy short hair is yechan

the mood is *terrorized bopping but very enthusiasticly living for them
As inSomnia and multifandom since 08, im really into this group !🤩❤ their VOCALSSSSs . anyway their debut song are cuteeee a bit creepy which I love lmao, so far their song are best
I loved the concept of this song it's amazing 😍❤️👏🏻
Yes Pink Fantasy!
I don't know too much about it but as far as I know, the member will be revealed when pink fantasy gets their first win. until then, daewang will remain a mysterious bunny for all their activities
yes fr people see a similar concept and can’t differentiate that from having similar songs. or don’t even bother listening to the songs. they just jump to the “x is copying x!” stuff :/
i feel like if you're an insomnia, you will love Pink Fantasy XD
As an insomnia, i love this song...
I like them, this MV is fantastic. I like their choreo.
I've been dabbling in pink fantasy recently their songs (the ones I've heard so far) are really good and their vocals are so good
Fandom name. LUVIT. why you ask. In korean its pronounced RUBIT. Rabbit as in Daewang as in Rabbit from Alice In Wonderland their concept. And as fans WE LUVIT.
Thank you for doing pink fantasy. Next is alice in darkland dance intro.
girlies!! if u want more of them their debut "iriwa" and first comeback "fantasy" are amaziiing songs ♥
they are iconic honestly
Thanks for this reaction to the talented Pink Fantasy ~ My queens deserve it. Stan Pink Fantasy
🤘🏻I L🖤VE THIS GROUP🤘🏻
잘봤어요.^^
Finally you gals reaction Pink Fantasy poison !
This song really very amazing and catchy !
Make me listen this song many times everyday!
They should keep this style !
And dreamcatcher will come back on 30july please keep support dreamcatcher!
YAAAHHH! PINK FANTASY! 💜
Please react to pixy too! let me know is bop and first mini album too!
The mv for Poison is sadly very low budget because the girls aren't successful a lot but I think they did an amazing job even with the 2 whole sets they had 🙃 I can already see the girls getting more attention with this song and they really deserve it~
And the hidden member, Daehwang, is supposed to be revealed after their first music show win so I guess she's mostly like a marketing thing lol. But the girl isn't forced to do this, she does it voluntarily so luckily the company doesn't treat them badly or forcefully in any way. (at least I think so)
Thank you for coming to my pep talk.
My favourite song this year so far
I like Dreamcatcher fans pushing Rock based bands
I personaly hate when people say to not compared groups. Comparing them is the only way to know in witch bag put them. I mean if I enjoy Dreamcatcher is more probably that I will enjoy Pink Fantasy and maybe not a group like "insert cute concept group"
also is the same with for example Twice and Oh my girl, they wont be in the same bag that Pixy or Purple kiss.
The same way goes with music genre in general, when I started to listen to music I fall for Nu metal first, them Metal and Rock, and a lot of nu metal bands were "similar" and we could say "This band is like this other band" and nobody was angry about that it was more like "Cool I will check that one"
Also if we can make a festival 3 days long , 1 day can be "Dark/Rock concept" and you have 4 or 5 groups. the next day "Girl crush/edm/rap concept" and you have a lot of groups.
This is such a crazy video.
OMG YESS PINK FANTASY QUEENS
They came back with their first comeback 'Fantasy' and added a new member called SangA to the existing 8 members. Shortly after that Mydoll announced that Heesun has stopped all activities do to anxiety and depression. On April 12th they announced that Aini had left do to health concerns. On June 28tg they announced that Yubeen has left due to health issues. After promoting with another Sub-Unit they announced that SangA left due to personal reasons and wanted her contract terminated. On December 30th they Announced that former member Heesun and trainees Miu and Miku would join them for their new single and album in 2021. On January 21st they released their single lemon candy with former member Heesun. On may 10th they announced that Heesun will join them again for their new album with 2 additional members called Mamoka and Miku. Now we have Aarang, SeeA, Yechan, Harin, Mamoka, Miku, Heesun and Daewang
@@DifferentlyAlike you could also excuse it with the argument that they re-recorded every title song with the new members
You two should watch their dance intro "Alice in darkland" of this comeback. That is amazing
I don't know why compare to DC either, I don't compare those groups but I consider all of them members of "The Dark Family"
dreamcatcher, pixy, purple kiss, pink fantasy, rolling quartz, loona... am i missing anyone ?
YESSSSSSSSSSS some chaos 🥺 I love them already
thank you
fun fact: pixy and pink fantasy has the same choreographer
Well, the groups mentioned can be categorised into one group.
It's like watching something from that group reminds of another group, but not particularly similar.
PIXY has dark concepts like Dreamcatcher too, but the storyline is wayyy different. That's one example. Reminds us of another group but not particularly similar.
(girl with short hair is Yechan, she's the main vocalist and my bias)
Another great way to put this as well. Not at all similar but yeah... Maybe "harder concept" would fit the vibe.
Also Yechan??? VOICE!
@@DifferentlyAlike yes, Yechan did a plenty of vocal covers too on RUclips!
React to the dance practice and some of the live stages... you will love them even more...
Sorry for those long comment. Hope your all caught up...
i'm up for a babymetal reaction.
also i hate it when some immature insomnias call pink fantasy a dreamcatcher rip off, i love dreamcatcher they are my ultimate stan, but rock/metal is for everyone to use.
It's like this
Dreamcatcher title tracks - alternative rock with edm synths
Poison by pink fantasy - techno industrial post hardcore
I love both, i just hate that pink fantasy is being called a rip off for trying heavy music, especially from a fanbase where i belong.
@Chris R yeah, no one owns rock and metal and the way i see everyone can use it to their music freely.
I love PINK FANTASY
Please, reaction MV “ fantasy “
Could you please react to Apink Dumhdurum? 🥺
Listen to Band - Maid and LOVEBITES!
I can't imagine if they listen to Lovebites, their head may explode (in a good way)
Right now they only focusing on Kpop music. Who knows in the future, Band-Maid and others soon will come.
😎😎😎🔥🔥🔥
can you react to Mamamoo's Wheein??? pleaaaase😭
The problem is that they have like cute songs, they had a similar song called Fantasy, pretty good too.
Those cute songs are out side their concept and its for the fans so they dont get dried up in content...
@@reijavmanga why you think it took so long betweeb Fantasy and Poison.
@@reijavmanga IRIWA FANTASY AND POISON are their main trilogy on the first ep. Those other ones are just fillers while they deal with members leaving and going. Because the company is actually good at managing they dont force people to stay if they want to leave and they will welcome them back if they decide to come back.
PLEASE REACTION TO DREAMERS BY ATEEZ ITS OST ANIME 🥰!!
It's obvious and I found similarities
Simple classification:
Dc : KPop + Rock/metal ✔️
PF: KPop + Rock/metal ✔️
Pixy: KPop + Rock/metal ✔️
Rolling Quartz: Rock ❌
@@DifferentlyAlike for the sake of argument, let says that I agree that they are different. So I mentioned Korn and LP to show how different they are but still the same NuMetal.
Korn : Nu Metal
Linkin Park : Nu Metal
Korn:. LP
Dj ❌. ✔️
Grow. ✔️. ❌
Rap. ❌. ✔️
Folks. ✔️. ❌
Bass. Verry Low. Normal
Guitar. Heavy.
@@DifferentlyAlike youtube- pixy - wing 00:10 - 0:25 that's metal obviously, if only u understand metal 😂
Exactly, NuMetal had qualification mixing metal with other genre, that's why I put DC, PF or Pixy in the same box
Metalcore growls, I'd say
I wouldn't say that Pink Fantasy's songs have influences from Babymetal...
Remember when this Channel acted like they were interested in Loona and did the whole Lunar new year thing 🤤 SHAME
Maybe if you actually watched their videos and watched those LOONAr New Year videos you'd be up to date on why they no longer do LOONA content. It's because of bitter and toxic fans like you. They're not doing LOONA anymore let it go and just unsubscribe.
if ur going to complain just unsubscribe ! 😌
