K-pop meets metal. Pink Fantasy has gone far. This song is a masterpiece. This is the third part in the Alice in Wonderland series. The first two songs are "Iriwa" and "Fantasy". Only the Fantasy has a rock sound.
The lore behind pinkfantasy is that Daewang (the girl with the cat mask and the bunny head in one scene) controls the rest of the girls. Their debut song Iriwa is translated as “come here”, and it’s about her luring pinkfantasy into wonderland with sweet words and actions (I must highlight she’s wearing a full white bunny mask with pink details). Then, the second part was Fantasy, where the girls start to realise that the cutesy and nice front Daewang put up is fake, and that wonderland is just a fantasy, not the beautiful place they were assured it was, and they start to try escaping (Daewang is wearing a black bunny mask there with red details, the mouth is full of sharp teeth). Finally, there’s Poison, after they realised there’s no escaping wonderland, and they instead turn on Daewang and tell her that she may have trapped them in there, but she’s also trapped in there with them, she fell into her own trap and there’s no way of escaping it (now she’s wearing the black cat mask for the majority of the video, this change was mostly due to her comfort, but I’m guessing it also shows that she’s not an innocent rabbit as she pretended to be at first, but a mischievous and tricky cat)
wow,i didnt know that all the songs were connected like a hwole story, thanks for making me realize this,im sure very few people knew the concept of the song as youve said
ive just been recently been a pink fantasy fan because ive watched videos of kpop groups that are underrated and came across their song fantasy which captivated me

Pink Fantasy have done a few different concepts for their songs! This is their second rock style song with their first being called Fantasy. I totally recommend y'all check it out!
It sounds like an anime Opening song for me. Hahaha but this sounds really different from the usual kpop songs I hear these days. But this one is good too!
Come on Johnny - Everyone knowns you never ever eat the apple!! 🧙♀️🍎☠️ Jeremiah you are totally right! Lol I don’t know much about this band except they have one girl that has never revealed her face. She always wears a bunny mask.
Thanks for checking out Pink Fantasy. You should check out their amazing dance performances MV called “Alice in Darkland”. “Poison” is actually the last part of a trilogy. “Iriwa” is their debut followed by “Fantasy”.

Not heavy metal style, cause 2015-17 era of kpop they will be laughed at by the mainstream media and the metal music will see them as a 2nd rated sound so they always have done mix-media style cause they have to please the mainstream audience and bring in rock music genre to the popular korean media, so heavy metal was never an option, but songs like Don't light my fire, No More, Endless Night are actually musically heaver than this song
@@veen-a2092 When they first started out, Dreamcatcher sounded almost exactly like Evanescence, except with choreography. Many people considered Evanescence to be a metal band.
@@riffgroove You mean Chase Me? chase me sound more like J-ROCK and early 2000s rock music to me visually it was very similar to Evanescence 2005-8 esc music videos, but musically it feels more j-rock with fast tempo style of music
@@riffgrooveI can't speak for "many other people"idk how much of Evanescence they actually listens to so its not a strong alibi for a statement, but Don't light my fire and Break the Wall are very similar Evanescence style of music than Chase me and Good Night cause DC use fast pace tempo style of music to make the choreography goes with the rock baseline even this song does the same thing they just added heavy guitars and scream/throat to make it seems like its heavier.
I was losing my mind the entire time.... That sh*t is amazing
dark concepts in Kpop hit different.

The apple was poisoned but she had 100% immunity to poison 😁
Check out dreamcatcher scream, they're like the pioneers making rock//metal in kpop.
Scream is heavy EDM with rock baseline, No More, Endless Night and Don't light my fire are metal music

I like American heavy metal with down tuned guitars and all the sludge that goes with it. The Anime heavy metal doesn't appeal to me.
Didn't Dreamcatcher try this schtick already when they first started and abandoned it because it was an abject failure?
