We have both mind of child and an adult. When you start listening to a complicated concept, the child awakes and insist you to avoid and divert to something else. When you listen to very simple thing, the adult mind insists you skip it as it is very simple and you already know it.
A good teacher finds the sweet spot between the childish mind and the adult mind to make a balance.

Inspite being a Mechanical Engineer by profession from past 11 years (which I love personally), I have a deep interest in finance and Management subjects. Currently, I am about to complete my MBA in Oil and Gas which I started 2 years back as a distance learning course from UPES, Dehradun to persue my passion to learn about Finance and Management. Maam, how to calculate return of my investment ( in % ) when the imvestments have been made at different period of time..
If I'm not wrong, I think XIRR helps calculate that.

I was looking up the CAGR concept online while I mystically forayed into your online tutorial video. The way you've articulated the video is commendable. I do not think any body can explain on CAGR better than you, in most simplified way. Most of the finance so called wizard want to show off their knowledge, but you really feel all listener should enjoy and learn even if he is financially dummy. Congraulations.

the rate which they (mutual fund) shows 11%12% are actually CAGR its representative rate or average rate

I use tax2win . They have capital gains package for just 2200/- for filling.
You can file in income tax website directly. This website has become way more user friendly of late. I am filing taxes directly on the website, cutting down the middle man

I stumbled on the lively and humorous presentations on financial literacy which has accelerated my interest in compounding my income, while sitting on a easy chair. Your goal of bringing financial literacy to the masses is definitely a lofty one and wish you luck on this mission. I for one would like to see our country's blue collar workers being educated on the necessity of savings and investment tips as this could be one avenue of raising the quality of life in India.
