Rail Replacement buses at Caulfield during Peak Hour - Melbourne Transport

In this video we see some rail replacement buses at Caulfield, taken during the afternoon peak. At first glance the June 2018 shutdown of the Cranbourne/Pakenham lines was like any other with a lot of rail replacement buses in operation. However unlike previous shutdowns at the time which generally occurred on the school holidays, this one occurred during the school term. This meant that many buses that would normally help out on rail replacement doing school duties.
As a result in a rather rare occurrence Ventura subcontracted a number of buses from interstate operators to fill the gap; which resulted in one of the most interesting rail shutdowns in Victoria in recent memory. It gave bus enthusiasts the opportunity to photograph and ride buses they wouldn't normally see in Victoria. Interstate operators seen in this video include:
Simes Bros Coaches (New South Wales)
Purtills (New South Wales)
Sydney's Amazing Coach Tours (New South Wales)
Telfords (New South Wales)
Sydney Transport Group (New South Wales)
Kanga Coachlines (South Australia)
Kangaroo Buslines (Queensland)
We also see various other Victorian operators helping out including CDC, Dysons and Ventura.

Haha yes both videos were filmed during the same shutdown so a lot of buses seen would have been the same
