I honestly really love the amount of foreshadowing in this MAP. Giving Sol all these snakelike traits and behaviors makes him turning into a snake feel more real and less like a weird plot twist.

Right before he grabs squirrelflight, he taps his leg rather fast. I know it might not be exact foreshadowing, but I’d like to think it is.
it's not, he does that cannonly in the books. As I've heard, don't know for sure tho.

cats also have that reptile blink. its called the second/third (i dont remember) eyelid, and only certain kinds of cats show it. i have a cat that, when he blinks, he shows that eyelid.
It's in fact called a nictitating membrane and animals like cats, camels, polar bears, seals, aardvarks, and some reptiles I believe have them. Snakes do not have this membrane, but instead have something called brille, which is a disc shaped skin or scale covering each eye. The thing is with Sol is that Sol has eyelids because he is a cat (for now lol), and it can be shown that 'somethings off' with the reptile eye blink. Serpent Sol still has eyelids (because he is also cat). The membrane with Sol can also be seen in Hollyfawn part 41, meaning that he has it still, and isn't just foreshadowing, its snake-cat anatomy.

In the scene where Sol's eyelids are like a reptile's, the back of his neck are like snake scales. Might be the part animator's style but that's what I thought when I first saw that scene
