For people watching: you don’t need to remove brake calipers. While it’s a bit more difficult by your self, the brake lines and brackets are plenty strong enough and mounted in such a way that when you rest the knuckle it doesn’t damage the line. Source: I’ve lowered about a dozen mopars to include durangos, chargers, jeeps. Only beneficial for time sake, definitely may give you more clearance but not impossible. In order to get the shock out you need to move the knuckle back towards the door to snake it out.
it should settle within a week, double check your ride again. i use to drop cars when i was younger and we didn't see nothing till after a week or two sometimes within couple days. you need some driving and braking to make the spring settle into its place. im not sure with trucks but check it out and let me know because i want to do this set up as well
Rather pay a few hundred bucks and have a garage do it, looks like hard work. Its not a massive difference really - would like to know if it did settle and go lower?
You will get more accurate results in measurements (especially when comparing to other WK2's) measuring from wheel well opening to center of center cap that way tire size/air pressure etc. won't affect/influence the measurements.
taking forever on the the first front one, total took like 7 hours. knowing what we know now prolly can do it in 3-4. and 2 ppl. you can do it with 1 person. jist gotta do the steps correct like i said with the brake caliper.
Rolando Robles thank you very much for the reply! Also, how did you manage to get the three bolts under the hood on the passenger side out with what I think is the negative cable over it? I can’t seem to get the bolts out holding in the negative cable to be able to remove the 3rd bolt that holds in the shock and spring.
Rolando Robles it also appears to be that the 3 bolts holding the shock and spring on the passenger side looks to be, bolt 1: easily accessible, bolt 2: is 1 of 2 bolts holding in the hanger piece for the hydraulic hood, bolt 3: under the black box thing held in by 2 bolts.
@@Uncbennn i dont remember having to mess with negative battery cables, boxes, or hood struts on the passenger size. from what i remember it was just 3 nuts. and its not my truck so i cant look under the hood. ill text my buddy and have him send me a pic and ill get back to you.
Rolando Robles thank you very much Rolando! This is the video I will be using to assist when I lower mine! Along with an update video on my channel I’ll make sure to give you credit for the detailed video!
If you have a grand Cherokee, you can run 22x10.5's or 22x11's for a more aggressive look. The Grand Cherokees have a 5x127 or 5.5 bolt pattern as well. Happy shopping]

Thanks for the video, put Eibach springs on my SRT over the weekend using your vid. I had to take my shock off the bottom fork to get it out.
I actually enjoy your vids straight to the point
Appreciate the kind words.
Thanks man, nicely done. I've got a 2019 Limited with the Hemi. Sits high, especially in the back.
No no no Don’t remove caliper, take the bolt out that is holding the brake lines to the truck. Will give you plenty of slack in the brake line.

sick jeep, I will be lowering mine too. How long did this process take you and what was the maximum amount of people working through this? Thanks!!

Two questions. Does the vehicle need to be aligned after this procedure? If so, are there any other parts required? Thank you!
i would get an alignment just to be sure. and since its not a crazy drop so you dont need adjustable arms or anything like that.
Thanks again!!
My question is will this effect when towing a boat with the car ?
It shouldnt, it only dropped it a couple inches, as long as you get the correct amount of drop hitch so the tongue sits closer to stock level.
Which Eibach kit did u install E10-51-019-01-22 Or 28108.540
Based on part number of the front spring it looks like the 28108.540 non-SRT kit
Awesome video! What year is the silver Jeep?
Is it a hemi? If so does he get any bottoming out with the extra weight of the engine?
Not a hemi. Just a v6
Did any lights turn on when you did this?? Cruise control or 4x4??
My buddies jeep was not a 4x4 so no lights
Can u do this with air suspension
for install of the suspension i would say yes. the install of the compressor and tanks is another project in itself.

Do I need any other parts beside the springs
i dont believe so if memory serves me correct lol
Hows the camber on all 4 wheels?
asked my buddy since its his truck and he said no camber
Is that an app for the wheel size?

You got it backwards. You lift a Jeep, don’t lower it.
Off-road v. Quickness
Did I just hear a horse at 0:14 ?
lol no. it was my dog playing tug of war.
Does any srt coil overs fit the Jeep Grand Cherokee limited?
im not sure. you would have to look into the forums to see if anyone has done them
Rolando Robles oh ok got you what coil overs u have ? & what year Jeep & model
@@batmoneybagz9611 Eibach 28108.540 for 2011-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Should have thrown on some bilstine 5100's while doing that
If you are lowering why 5100?
😂 and then throw some money down a drain. You don't need them.
