i've recently started to learn this song on drums. it is one of their most fun. but i cannot do it like their drummer. they are my favorite band to play drums to. the most fun and the most snair rolls, floor tom hits and high hat taps. i just love their drumming and all of them as a whole. i like to add to my hi hat a hi hat tambourine to add to the lovely, beautiful music

The worst thing about this is that it ends far too soon. Feels almost like if a lover got me all worked up and then just dipped out to go pick up Baskin-Robbins without warning. Would genuinely, honest to Todd, KILL for a 20 minute version of this with solo after solo after solo that just got increasingly powerful and energetic as it went. ... Ok, admittedly I'd only kill like a mosquito or a sand crab or something, but I'd still kill.
Gulag Orkestar is my favourite Beirut album, and this song really deserved to have the entire album under it's name.
