That's my car! Thanks Quinn And Slip Angle Media crew for a nice run down, and review of her. She was not built for setting lap times. It is a daily street cruiser for me. My previous S2000's were track duty, but life take over, priorities, kids,...lol. Good to have a daily driver and your back in one piece, on a long trip, and a car that rips! Hey man thanks for letting these guys test it. Your baby put in a really nice lap! I also appreciate the setup because it’s something could reasonably do if they still wanted to use their car every day like I’m trying to. :)
For a comfortable daily the soft suspension mods, since I only did springs and sway bars on stock Club Bilsteins, it is very comfortable. And it rips too so it's a fun mountain road / back road carver!

The exact set up I want. EB SC with headers and full exhaust running the Fab9 93 tube. I so want to know dyno numbers. Should help me solidify SC vs TC
Extremely impressive, especially given he’s on street tires and still using the sub standard Bilstein shocks. Don’t get me wrong, I have the same tires, and they are impressive, but they’re not 200 treadwear track tires by any stretch of the imagination. “Near redline in 3rd” is something I don’t think I’ve heard you say before.
New track layout has that back straight away that let's us get into the car's power band which was very welcomed over the old layout. No only if they didn't narrow the track in other sections though 😅

Awesome video man! Very interesting build and something close to what I was looking at going suspension wise as this is my only car at and I want to do something that is able to also handle the crappy roads in Dallas lol.
I’m in Dallas as well. I’m on BC racing br coilovers right now. It’s certainly rough in certain areas but I love the extra response in steering and less body roll.
@@TheSlipAngle lol! But all in part true. And I appreciate the "sorry buddy" and the that was my fault.. you could have cut that out. But you left it in! Integrity!
a rear bar only will increase rear roll stiffness and usually make it rotate easier at the cost of limiting rear travel and possibly lifting the rear inside wheel
Im no expert. That suspension needs more parts and or tuning. And the tires need to either adjusted air pressure wise and or swapped for something that will handle that track better????????

Hey I just thought of something that could be cool if you know well enough ahead of time if someone's going to let you shoot their car, see if they can grab some kind of alignment spec information. It would be very interesting to see their alignment before you do the track impression because so often (even with the recent Corvette video & many more) I was thinking to myself, man.. I bet they just have a factory alignment and not enough negative front camber. Like if we knew ahead of time that the nd was on stock alignment specs, then we'd be able to imagine more of what it could be like compared to how it is or something like that. Not saying the Corvette would be a huge difference with more negative front camber but it would probably aid the audience in understanding to see alignment specs for each track impression. I know it wouldnt be possible for every car but it would be cool. Cuz for example say u drive another turbo NA and it has just -2 front camber but you're blown away by the front bite then I'd know it may not be totally necessary to run more than that if we don't track the car as much as we daily. Duno either way awesome 👍 content as always lol the recent white Corvette video was hilarious 😂 "just duce the gas and it whaaarrrmp" 'murica
But more importantly it would be better to know if the ND did already have added front negative camber and it still pushes out like that. Sweet car tho
@@TheSlipAngle yeah Mazdas OEM alignment is less negative front camber than rear so that the everyday newbie RWD driver doesn't have to deal with accidental oversteer.
