Don't get me wrong, Cobus is more than talented and skilled but what I love most about watching his videos is just seeing how much feeling he puts into EVERY song. Doesn't matter what genre, he gives every song so much energy which I feel is just as important as being able to play the material.
He is awesome and people need to stop hating on this young gentle men. Whether he originates mix his own flares or what ever. At the end of the day he does an outstanding job and it is not an easy task to play the drums never mind hitting the same beets a professional band drummer does. Great Job Cobus!!!!

Thats why you make your own sound. And perfect that style and continue to do so until your unique. That's what makes every drummer good is how they drum and the style. Just like vocals.

All of the editing that you've put into many recent videos takes away from your talent. I know you need to make money somehow, but its great to see that you still make your best raw work!

Just to make that clear: This particular cover opened up the world of pop-punk for me in 2012 and introduced this band to me especially. Though my taste in music has developed this is still my go to band to have a great time in 2018.
For the record, I should say that I do like Cobus, he's part of the reason I started taking drumming seriously and because of this I like him more than just about any RUclips drummer out there but basically nobody that is RUclips famous is even close to the best ever. There is no 'best ever', it's all subjective because drumming is about feeling and connecting with the music and there are so many types of music which are again a person's subjective taste.
