A friend and I who live two hours apart (and admittedly aren't musicians) watched four RUclips versions of this overture (by Haitink, Barenboim, Jansons, all of them giants, and Khudyev, a relative unknown). All were magnificent (how could they not be?) But Khudyev's ended up as our first choice. We'll be looking for more from him! (Don't know a lot about him. Hey Wikipedia, he deserves a page.)
