This is great stuff, as usual, from the great h-r Orch, but it doesn't seem to be under the usual auspices. I wonder why?

I've been listening to different versions of this captivating piece for two days now. I just found this, this morning. Everything is here - recording quality, dynamic arrangement, and a conductor that's a joy to watch. His appreciation for his musicians almost brought me to tears.

The musicians have mastered Chinese instruments and the Chinese musical idiom, but they can also read a Western score and interpret it for their instruments. That’s damned good musicianship!
