oh, you’re looking at me. plague, ltd. hails from sacramento, california, with members t. warren scollan on bass, darrold vierra on drums, john zimmerman on lead guitar, jimmy driver on rhythm guitar, and spencer stout on vocals. this song and and two others by them, “so cold” and “doing what i wanna do” appear on the 2007 garage comp album so cold!!!. i’m not sure how they were never released before this, maybe they were demos? anyway, i really like this song even if it is a little crunchy.
Good one.
Súper Emma ✨️✨️✨️👍🏻
well, life can be easy, life can be rough
some got it made, but i got it tough
i look at those people, up there at the top
they're laughing and saying that he's just a clown
they've had it so easy, their lives have been paid
but it's so easy to talk when you got it made
but i'm not so different, so why can't they see
and remember the times they were struggling like me
but my day will come, they're no better than me
they think they're somebody, they walk by so proud
and pretend they can't see my face in the crowd
so turn your back now, and pretend you can't see
but someday you'll be looking up there, oh, looking at me
oh, looking at me, oh, looking at me, oh, looking at me
(zimmerman, stout.)

@@furrtREALLYRIPS thank you so much this is great
super nice ! where you found the records ?
This song is a comfort when society is annoying. Cool Californian jingle-jangle guitar sound. Didn't know this Frantic Rec. pearl but I like it. Thx
so real.

Moody garage gets under your skin
Very interesting ! Thank you for posting.
you're welcome!!
Could have been used in film noir.
It sounds mysterious.
What garage appeal.
