In 1977 Dee Spencer was almost killed in a car crash. Her stepfather died when he protected her from being injured. She eventually became a veterinarian.

I can smell my mom's home cooking now. I would watch this on a little 10 inch TV in the kitchen after school. This show was the best. Still has me laughing 4 decades later.
They don't make shows like this no more
I wanted to be like Dee Dee when I grew up because Nobody took Advantage of her.
2023 I still enjoy this sitcom. Rerun was a good dancer.

What's Happening, 227, Amen, The Jeffersons, Good Times, Three's Company. Shows back then were wholesome and you really got a real good laugh.

This is one the best black sitcom show that seems real and not acting . A black mother who didn't play . Dee and Raj were good actors and the rest of them to .Fuuunnnny🤣🤣🤣🤣❤❤Love it .
