QUEEN ANNE Victorian Home Tour 👑🏡

This beautiful Queen Anne Victorian Style Home Design number 47 is one of only 5 left intact in the United States. Carefully designed, packaged and shipped via train and then assembled in place in the desired location, George F Barber was one of the first architects selling his designs via catalog. He started selling his house design plans as early as 1888. Most people think that Sears was the only catalog selling kit homes. (1908 - 1940).
The home was built by a merchant in 1894, sold to Lola Brooks and used as a hotel, then it was turned into a Christmas Shop. It was for sale for over a year until it was finally sold to my friend Nora. The home was lovingly updated with its lovely charm retained.
