Aaah, I've loved Hanser since all the way back in the Honkai 3rd days~
Bought the game already, just hope the translation is better than Peach Blossom Spring, really dragged down an otherwise really interesting story to the point that I really couldn't stomach any more past completing one story path -_-
Update: Translation is leagues better - you still have the occasional "didn't know the English word and asked a translation app to get a technically correct phrasing that sounds weird in normal use" moment, but compared to Peach Blossom Spring, the translation weirdness is now an occasional source of mild amusement instead of a constant struggle to not lose focus.
I haven't bought Peach Blossom Spring yet but did the translation get better if you can find that out please? Would be a bummer to finally get it then for the experience to get ruined by a translation issue

Since you said something about a chinese kickstarter can you tell me if you know more about it now, like if it covers the story of Liang and Siu after the true ending or maybe some new characters?
Either way, with the writing from this game I can only imagine its gonna be just as good.

@@weaponofmd Oh man, can't wait - The way they successfully captured the sheer weight of events on a human scale until now (I'm still reading, just past the part where... they made a very nasty stew in the bathhouse, to keep the spoilers coded) is as absolutely beautiful as it is depressing to read (in a good way).
Is it kinetic novel or have different choices?
Well, it has a bunch of choices that can get you killed, and some real ones towards the end, but other than that it's semi-kinetic
