EveRay Like almost all of my favs (Raira Trio, Saki, Aoba ect.) underrated. It’s like they’re either ignored or disliked/hated by most of the fandom smh. People need to read the light novels to understand them.
I agree. My top 5 favorite characters are Anri, Akabayashi, Aoba, Kururi and Mairu. I like Saki a lot too. I felt bad for her. I haven't thoroughly read through all the LNs yet but I've talked to people that have and Aoba is a tragic character. It was implied that he was sexually abused by his brother Ran Izumi so I don't blame him for being a bit manipulative. I wish they didn't leave that out in the anime.... I also like the idea of Aoba x Kururi x Mairu as I know they have a lot more interactions in the LNs.

I can’t take this seriously after finding out his English voice actor did 9S while his Japanese voice actor is Ouma XD

Aoba was a twisted asshole you can't help but like. All the characters on Durarara were so well written I watched the whole series luke 4 or 5 times.
