Pretty great plays for pure icejade. Sea Mare was also doing some work as the secondary normal summon option, working quite well alongside Aegirine during battle phase. It works well alongside Sea Diva too so long as you start with tremora but that isn't guaranteed. Synchro Overtake though does help in likely getting Diva always in hand. Sigh... So much support but no surefire consistency without getting rid of something... Well some ideas to improve what you already have, maybe burial goods and ice barrier can help, maybe getting rid of 1 Curse and 1 Kosmochlor would do to make tactics thrusts a 3 so you can ensure you get what you don't have. Though its a brick if the enemy doesn't activate card effects, its not a brick for long and can still be useful as sacrifice for a Tinola (# BetterThanActi, Change my mind). Won against a very troublesome Kashtira deck thanks to this play by summoning the in GY Aegirine. A single Metaverse is also an idea if you want to try and sneakily add it on board when you have a curse and erosion on board and that could replace 1/3 Erosions. (And I would just get rid of Nibiru. It can be played around so much so often these days, I would just add a 3rd Ran at that point, or maybe a second aegirocassis) ... I'm starting to think that Icejades is a deck meant to focus on cards that search and dump over using hand traps like ash and imperm. Call by helps tremendously in making sure you can set up you consistently set up your board and Evenly helps break the opponent's down to a manageable level. Kurikara too can be extra useful if you want too considering she can break an entire negate board if you make them use every other option. But setting up your board is priority 1 for Icejades with breaking boards being after. And it makes sense why considering Gymir protects against banish and destruction, Erosion protects against return and backrow removal, and Aegirine is the best defender in the business (Seriously, she made me fall in love after she blocked a 4 hit 8k monster so I could Kaiju the f*ck next turn)
AHAHAHA, I LOOOVE BOTH TINOLA AND ACTII, DON't BE LIKE THAT!!!! Yeah exactly, the reason I'm not running deep sea diva is primarily around the fact that not having tremora to use for aegirine! Although I agree with you but in current times of mikanko I was considering to put Ice Barrier several times in deck furthermore explains why I want to have 3 Erosion, ITS JUST THAT GOOD VS KAIJU REMOVAL!! Triple Thrust is really tricky card, I'd much rather open with evenly matched rather than have to search for it via Thrust. Since it can get ashed or bait out enemy's omninegate sometimes. Backrow decks & Mikanko are absolutely worst decks you can face, against kashtira, if you can somehow push through arise-heart board you're GOLDEN! Now for the dillema of Icejade Curse, I was really considering loooong looooooong time to make it a 1 but you can't add it from grave if its destroyed or banished and is one of more essential parts of icejade toolkit. Nibiru, well as you can imagine I lost privevious game to a combo deck so... theres that , don't take that nibiru too seriously... :D I did want to bulk up more on Aegirocasis and Ran... but then I remembered those aren't exactly cards I want to see in my starting hand which are Aegirine,Erosion,Curse & Cenote. Now what I think deck lacks, if we're taking the route of 1 card combo which is unlike other 1 card combos, AEGIRINE, they might consider making another lvl 10 synchro, BUT THIS ONE SHOULD REALLY KICK SOME ASS(Gymir is great don't get me wrong,but its mostly deffensive card). Since when summoning Ran locks you into making only water synchro monsters we can't really have access to Baron most of times, or maybe make lvl 4-5 tuner so I can make admancipator dragite OR BETTER YET ---- UNBANN MY TOAD!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll gladly give up spright elf since I don't use it all that much and will get 3 ultra rare cards for crafting hahahaah! Aegirine is currently carrying whole archetype on her back and needs some serious HELP!!!!! Thats ofcourse until her mom Cosmochlor hits the field.. I want to put more Tinola & Actii aswell but not having powerfull monsters to revice like Dragite or Toad kind of gives them no meaning, ofcourse you can use it to reviwe your other water monster but they don't have some MINDBLOWING impacts like these cards!
@@Unorthodox_Style completely understand as I've been telling people myself that they underestimate erosion, but when it comes to how many to use, I've never found the need for 3. If it gets to use both effects once a game, your chances of the enemy choosing to scoop high, even better if you can get multiple of the lvl 4/5 in the gy. But 2 has been all I need as if they can get through the first one, the second will be harder for them to get rid of. But for thrust, I rarely get ashed because they use it of my Aegirine more often than not (which does mean they mostly wasted their time) but making it a 3 was just a suggestion and in no way a necessity but an option for use against your opponent always shot gunning Maxx-c turn 1 and baiting out ash if you have Aegirine or Sea Mare. Curse i've never felt like I should start with. If anything, I treat it like the last piece of the lock, only to be used when you have the field spell and Erosion. Kosmochlor has multiple other ways to be searched that you could use Aegirine to get Curse if you opened with the erosion. I can see why you wouldn't want to start with all field spells and metaverse but if that happens, its just bad luck. Union cradle being able to return a banished card is why I added metaverse. (at worst it can be used as a bait for ash or be a target for back row destruction) For Ran and aegirocassis, I did want to start with them (especially ran if I end up with 3 of the field spell) which is why I have her at 3. I was originally only keeping both at 2 but ran has been a helpful free synchro when I needed it most. (and I'm pretty sure that its a bug that you are locked into only water for extra deck considering it mentions "While that Token is in the monster zone" so if you don't summon the token or use the token and still have materials for another synchro, you SHOULD be fine. And for the last piece, it does seem like Icejade isn't finished because the Albaz storyline, while done, the world isn't concluded. For icejades, Aegirine is taking the place of Kosmochlor as the mother of icejades, which coincides with her using both the name of Gymir and Ran who are a couple who create the 9 waves so we will likely see 9 new icejade monsters in the future if not an evolved archetype (however long that takes) with the purpose of keeping the evolved Longyuan imprisoned for all eternity. Personally, I want to see some links and XYZs that help further the archetype's defensive nature, maybe get a way to set the continuous spells/traps or give a use for the spells in the gy.
@@Unorthodox_Style ps. I do love both of them too but feel like Tinola was being overshadowed by Acti just because she draws a card. At this current stage, she could probably be better than Acti in he utilization because of how easy it is to get Aegirine, making Tinola into a perfect turn 3 normal summon (so long as you have something in hand).

Well, try to put maxx c in your deck and couple evenly's to keep them at bay. There is a reason I can play like this...Believe me I'd like to put all ONLY ICEJADE CARDS in my Icejade deck. Best move, well in most cases atleast, for icejade is normal summon aegirine and grab erosion.
I think deep sea diva will make the deck stronger, you can try it! I made a deck like yours but i can't beat anyone, I wish my skills could match yours

I reached diamond 3 with icejades this season and most of it was due to having either maxx c or evenly matched...do you know how many matches I have that end from simply just resolving these 2 cards, othervise I'd have 1 hour+ footage. Please don't get discouraged!! To reach diamond 1 or master rank on purpose I would need to switch to Exosisters/Lab. For sure I've reached diamond 1 by icejades before... but that was the case of stars aligning for me!😇
@@Unorthodox_Style Thanks! I think I can go to Diamond 5 with deep sea diva, then I play swordsoul. Ran really makes icejade stronger but the deck is still quite slow compared to other meta decks

I really like Icejade's playstyle and card art, I just wish they were better. It's very hard for decks to do anything without good one card combos.
Aegirine is 1 card combo I need 💪...although it could be better! :D
