It’s almost like they should have made it a little bit larger for better ergonomics. It still would have been much smaller than their older triggers and still been a lot lighter as well. Good review of this Robert. Thanks.

Believe or not, it's not hard to navigate through the menu options. The internal battery an touchscreen win it for me. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!

I wanna justify the use of it in controlled environment, sure it helps, but when you're in run & gun setup but still needs the trigger i prefer more tactility instead of another screen to look.

A fair argument but once your settings are set you wouldn't be looking at the screen regardless of the type of trigger. It's nice that the touchscreen allows you to just slide your finger across the screen to adjust the intensity of the flash power. Give it a shot. I was skeptical too at first.

    THanks for the review ...
As far as I read in the product description the X3 does not have BT and doesn't work with the phone App. Since it has Touchscree, I dont think an App would be needed anyway ...
Do you know if it has charge-through, meaning does it operate while its being charged? (eg with a small power-bank)

I'm not sure about the charge-through, a great question. Every time I've used it I would charge it the night before. I never had a power issue (running out of juice). It charges very quickly so I never needed the use to charge while using it.
I did noticed that I can charge it while the power is on, so Im assuming you can.

@@RobertSilverPhotography Yes, it works. Got mine yesterday and im able to charge it with a powerbank while using in on my camera. The caqble sticks out awkwardly, so I will get an angled one ... not ideal, but good to know in a pinch.

What camera are you using it with? Does it actually fire the lights and handshake with a Nikon Z8 or Z9 and their latest firmware.?????

I've used the both Nikon Z8 and the Z9 with the RS Nano trigger and I've had zero issues with it firing. Wether it be in a studio or on-location (outdoors).
