I completely 100% know the feeling you are speaking of. I hate that you had to feel so anxious during this whole experience, it’s such an eye opener being around people (and I’ve met a LOT) who’s bad attitudes and egos make you feel insignificant and small, because you realize then and there that it’s all about clout and following to them.
I think truly the biggest teller is how a person treats you before they “know who you are” or despite your following/career.
At the end of the day we are ALL the same and deserve to be treated respectfully.

This made me gain a lot more respect for James. The ending made me cry. It’s evident that he’s really grown and continues to learn from past mistakes. I really loved this video! It is SO true, people in LA can be so rude and nasty and just not inclusive if they think you're a "nobody" or not in a high position. The social space in LA can be awful. I think James is very genuine and kind and has a good heart. After meeting me briefly at an event and agreeing to film an episode of Closet Raid with me - I saw how sweet an accepting and helpful he was. If you are a big influencer sometimes you NEED to remember that there are people who look up to you. They don’t know you in real life, but still somehow you manage to make them smile. The people who look up to, are the ones who made you. Imagine if an interviewer went up to Nikita to have a small talk, but ends up being escorted by security. The way Nikita’s manager changed immediately after she realised it was James scares me a lot.
Yeah but he didn’t look like himself and he was right up close to her so obviously you would get a bit confused because most reports won’t go right up to the persons ear they would speak in front of them
I think it’s so great you’re able to talk about your feelings in this experience. I think it’s interesting to experiencing something other people experience everyday like the weird looks or rudeness just based on appearance or social status. It really gives us a different perspective and reminds us about our humanity.

Exactly. This video is honestly so important for everybody. For the people we look up to and idolize, as well as for us. In this way, influencers can see how harmful (I feel like that’s the only word I can use that fits) meeting people we stan can be to fans. We put them so high up on a pedestal and then when we go to meet them it doesn’t how as expected and they aren’t always the nicest. I attended BeautyCon LA and the worst part about it were the influencers. The vibe was so weird. I went to the afterparty and it seemed like everyone thought they were Beyoncé. In NYC people were so chill. Those same people were totally different in LA. I got a very “you can’t sit with us” vibe. It was very disappointing to see how this “fame” gets to many people and they forget how to be kind.

James I just recently started watching your videos, and even though I don’t agree with certain aspects of your lifestyle, I admire your confidence, you are a very talented young man and I can see that you are sincere and have a beautiful kind heart. It’s admirable to see your humility in admitting your mistakes and working on learning from them and growing from them, that’s something that many grown people don’t know how to do yet. As someone who has anxiety attacks on a regular occurrence, I get it! It is horrible but you handled it well. Afterwards the shame & embarrassment, but you were so humbled and shared your heart, from time to time it’s ok to share your vulnerable side, you are human after all!! ❤️

I get that her management was acting rude but this creepy looking dude was getting closer and closer to Nikita without them knowing him. James also said that she recognized him as soon she saw him but being a very playful person she played along and acted diva-ish.

this turned out to be one of my favorite videos that james has done. not because it was entertaining to see him in disguise but because he really talked about a problem that a lot of people face every single day. so many people are discriminated against because of the way they look. i feel james really made a difference and i stan for that. slay queen:)
