I really Like it too. Full coverage is good for photos and events, but I really like this for an everyday, naturally beautiful makeup look. As a MAC makeup artist, I constantly get questions on why I always go for the more sheer to medium foundations first. Um, because if you have good skin, why would you use full coverage?!? If you want to, go for it.😂 But yeah, I love this tutorial.

I was a teen back then and there was no information on using contour to create facial dimension or slim nose, no info on eyeshadow placement and no Info on making eyes pop etc. It was basically applying washes of color to the face. This look is a lot more in depth then what advice magazines offered.
Fun fact: At the beginning, RUclips was a dating site. You would film yourself while you're describing yourself and people would comment on your videos their opinions about you (For exemple: ''We should date !'', ''Why do I have this person suggested ?!'' or more)...

Watching this in 2021, this makeup look is like one of the most trending looks I’ve ever seen since it’s so natural. I think back in the day like in 2016-2018 everyone just wanted bold brows, bold lips and eyeshadow etc. So it’s nice to see a change for once.

He looked really good with that small amount of foundation applied with *gasp* his own fingers! I personally never apply foundation with brushes or sponges- only my God given fingers. Because I can wash my fingers every time and I’m talented at flawless blending.

It would be neat to look at some of the makeup tutorials that were presented in Seventeen magazine at the time. I remember as a pre-teen in the late 90s/early 2000s and a teenager in the 2000s, that magazine always had some sort of makeup tutorial that I would fail to follow.
