This is the 1st time in almost 30 years or so that a Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat game release in the same year, facts.

They do. The players just skipped it
They obviously will interact however remember this is a restarted timeline so tho won’t have much to say to each other, just some cheeky insults

@@producersman4045 Not inherently. Kenshi and sub zero have some beef over the murder of their clans. The reset still kept key events meaning dialogue will still have weight.

This game looks amazing. I remember when Mortal Kombat was the first game to have real-life appearing characters vs. the 2D ones from other games. It's come a long way, and this one looks great!

Honestly yeah, this mo game is much faster and more colorful than mk11 was (also a lot of the combos are insane compared to when people just spammed an attack when you were in a corner)
I have been a fan of the Mortal Kombat games since the arcade era, but this latest version seems like an upgraded version of MK 11.
yea we need something new or look more realistic , but what company would agree to make a game so hardcore and realistic that it could end up being an adult rated game and not maybe make profit or be able to be released in stores. would be cool if they come out with something like that with different variations of the animations without making it impossible to tell what move is coming out.

I just realised it kind of sucks that we can’t hear interactions between characters in the towers because they changed how it triggers to when you select your characters :/
I am a big mortal kombat fan but this cameo has me in doubt.
The game looks good, but something feels different from the old MK, as if they moved from a western style fighting game to a more eastern one, a bit anime-ish. A lot more flash and acrobatics, less impact and depth.
Also idk if i like that kameo thing, i hope it's optional.
It's an assist function, like MVC 1
its optional by not using it while playing, you'll just have to worry about other players using their Kameo fighter

Don't see the anime thing at all. Nor does anyone else, which is why you were so vague. Such things cant be quantified. Also the fighting style looks similar to the last game.

This game is weird. In many ways it looks less impressive than MK11 (so far). Some things looks even worse than MKX-MK9 (mostly fatalities, and again: so far). But it will be fun to play anyway.

Im no game developer but I'd create different variations of the x-ray attacks depending on who your opponent is. Gamers like variety. That way the match always looks different.

This does look really good but like all the other fighting games these days, the amount of moves / combos you need to memorise is insane.
Games generally have tried to make it as complicated as they can get away with recently but the most fun I had was streets of rage 4 and turtles shredders revenge.

Is it just me or does the game (Character Design, Ingame Graphics, Tower Design and General Overlay) Look much worse than MK 11?
It looks more like some of the asian fighting games rather than classic mk, much more flashy and somehow more sterile
