Chlo T a lot of bakers use activated charcoal as a natural black dye, but a you tuber I like thought that activated charcoal was something that helped you throw up poisons. They weren't wrong, but there is an edible kind of activated charcoal used as a natural black dye by a lot of professional bakers. You can still use it, but you have to be careful which one you're getting
To all my friends who have to take medicine, you should probably just use black food coloring rather than activated charcoal! Activated charcoal is used to absorb poisons and can actually absorb the medicine you may be potentially taking!
The cake with skulls from the beginning reminded me of the painting with a big heap of skulls ("The Apotheosis of war", as it's called in my language, not sure if it's correct in English).
I still have the original book. I made this cake foe my daughter when she was 2 and she has decided that she wants another one, just the same, for her 35th birthday. She remembered it all these years later. Ha ha

Recipes can be adjusted to how the maker likes... If you dont like that much frosting dont put that much frosting when/if you make the recipe.....
