There's technically 3; the regular blue variant, a purple variant with tiny spikes and a bigger mace, and the red variant with a golden mace and shield.
Pretty much this entire game was a callback to the original Kirby's Dreamland on the Gameboy. The levels, the bosses, and the lack of copy abilities all seem to be from that game. (With the addition of color and 3d movement, of course.)
I wonder why they didnt add whispy since hes a recurring boss i guess its because he doesnt move but he does move in dreamland 3 so yeah. I also think they should have added kaboola from world 3 in dreamland
