    I own this car in Korea. I think if you drive this car for more than a week, you will be more positive on it. I like this car a lot.

    Great car, Ssangyong have really upped there standard in comparison to the Kodiaq or Santa fe its much better looking & its much more affordable. Also its very safe with 9 airbags, and it also has very good safety tech, which you would pay more for on Hyundai or Skoda. So you get something that can tow anything, drive anywhere, and have luxury features for just £27k ? Sounds very good to me keep up the great work Ssangyong!

    Great review. Ssangyong are one brand that is on the up and up when it comes to product quality. I've got the old Rexton 2.0 and it's almost indestructible. I'll definitely buy the new model.

      Many thanks. The brand really is on the rise. Some impressive vehicles being produced at excellent prices.

      Good job on being different, hate people that just buy a car cause its made by ' Volksgagen, bmw, audi' etc

    Certainly a huge improvement on the old model

    I find it slightly bizarre that the range-topping Ultimate specifiction of Reston is offered only as a 5-seater, when the ELX and even the base model EX are also offered as 7 seaters. Why is this?

    The overall build, fit & finish and plastic quality can be compared to the newer gen Hyundai cars (Fluidic design). Korean cars are significantly improving their overall quality and refinement of engines and NVH compared to competitive Japanese rivals. Albeit, their reliability is still a concern like the German cars. If they beat that, they'll see some big numbers :)

    On the plus side it's big and plenty on kit

      ...and well priced. But it is thirsty and there is certainly an old school element to it.

      Driver's Seat Skoda kodiaq would be a better bet wouldn't it?

    • @driversseat659
      @driversseat659  7 лет назад +1

      Depends what you want. Rexton is more rugged, better off road and will pull the moon. Kodiaq is a better on road product but with fidgety ride.

    Owned by an indian brand, won't release best products in India. Pure BS

      You do realise how many brands are owned by either Indian or Chinese conglomerates, right?

    Outdated and very uneconomical, very expensive to run and tax especially in the first year

    Thirty seven grand ...... labour rates / design / development / materials ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, that's about 35 grand profit on each car ,,,,,,, you'd be pretty inscrewedtable if you bought this.
