    I just noticed that Stacy started wearing long clothing not only because of Bobby’s jealousy, but to cover his physical abuse. You could see a lot of it during the shower scene

    Bobby wasn't just unstable he was evil. Truly one of those manipulative boyfriends. He was truly a if I can't have you nobody can have type of guys. But what was more sad about this is that none of her friends did the right thing.

      It's easy to say what u would do. But I've been around people who were being abused and I wasn't friends with the victims. It's not easy to do something but I get it. I'm surprised her mom didn't say or do anything. If I had been with a guy who beats me my mama would have hired a hit man cause she was a marine.

    I watched this as a little girl and it made me a bit paranoid about physical abuse and anger in a relationship. Unfortunately I experienced a lot of narcissistic/emotional abuse anyway. Still healing..

    If a guy ever pushed me or laid one hand on me even once, you can bet I would never give him a second chance; It's sad Stacey was too forgiving and Bobby's manic jealousy got out of hand and she wound up dead; She should had listened to her best friend, Nikki; She saw red flags in her twisted relationship with Bobby! 😔💔

    • @musicgirl97
      @musicgirl97 Год назад +4

      Exactly! Stacy was too trusting with him and too loyal to even give him up. She kept on coming up with many excuses to stay with him. I understand she’s loving, forgiving, and merciful and all, but there comes a time in life where you just have to give this person up and move on. You can’t let your boyfriend or girlfriend abuse you like that to the point where it leads to a possible murder. And yes, I would have left him the minute he got violent with me like that.

    At the 4:06 minute mark, What's the actress's name that plays Bobby's mom? She was never credited in this movie. She orders Bobby to leave Stacy alone as she tells him that Stacy is not doing anything wrong. They were having a chat with each other. That's when he will snap at her as he orders her to shut up so he can keep abusing Stacy more. But his mom refused. She will say, "No, I will not shut up, Bobby. We're not doing anything wrong. We are having a chat with each other." But Bobby orders her to shut up again with his anger because he doesn't want Stacy to talk to her no more.

  • @AaronSaltzer

    Even when Bobby tried to be affectionate, he was aggressive. I guess because he didn’t have much love in his life, he didn’t know how to be loving to others

    There are 3 ways we can react to abuse in our relationships. How would you react to abuse in your relationship?
    A. We can put up with our abusers and/or obey them. That's called being COLD or passive.
    B. We can talk back to our abusers and/or act tough around them. That's called being HOT or aggressive.
    C. We can be COOL or assertive.
    Please reply with your answers below.
