The reason why tension sounded like previous songs is because initially tension was supposed to be dreamcatcher's first comeback instead of good night, there's some parts in tension that sounded a bit like good night. the song was later rearranged and rewritten.

Daybreak is my favorite off the album, tied with Scream. I just love the beginning so much and when Siyeon sings "how could I be asleep." Her sweet voice just ❤️❤️
The reason "Full Moon", "Over The Sky" and "Paradise" are included on Dystopia is because these songs either had no physical release ("Paradise") or a physical release in VERY limited quantities randomly given away at fan meetings. Including these songs allows anyone who wants a physical copy to have one. JiU mentioned that "Sahara" was a finalist for title track, but "Scream" won out in the end - and she was happy with that decision.

As a multi stan. There have been several albums released by top groups (like BTS or NCT127) and I have to say so far the best one is Tree of Language: Dystopia by Dreamcatcher I even found it better than the album by my ult group. I mean EVERY single song is a bop yeah so stan Dreamcatcher ALBUM OF THE YEAR🔝
Multi-stans living out best lives! This is my favorite album so far of this year. February was brutal for me with GFriend, Everglow, Dreamcatcher, and BTS in the same ~2weeks. God knows how I'll survive having a Day6 and TXT in the same week in May. And if The Rose has a comeback this year, I'll be dead. PS- Leez and Ollounder are my favorite producers, so with Ateez, Dreamcatcher, and Younha in the same month! I fucking died.

I think the fact that we were all in love and obsessed with Tension's "sound" back in the day (and we still are) but Dreamcatcher continuously manages to expand and make that sound more intricate and interesting while keeping their original vibe is exactly why they're one of (if not the) top groups out there.

I'd say my favourite songs on this album are probably In The Frozen and Black or White (I've even learned the dance, it's fun) In The Frozen is just a really inspiring song to me in general. It recently pushed me to paint an entire landscape painting with a glacier and a small flower growing out of the snow.
I know this reply is a bit late, but your painting resembles the story of Younha's Winter Flower MV. I really recommend listening to it, Winter Flower was released earlier this year and was also produced by Leez and Ollounder. It's definitely one of my top songs from these music gods this year, and they already set the standard so high as it is.
I am not a huge fan of Kpop albums,I feel like most groups bsides sound like filler tracks that really hold no weight outside of the EP they're on. THAT BEING SAID, Dystopia is NOT like those other albums and is a front to back banger that gives us nearly 5 songs which could have been the lead single!!! Honestly DREAMCATCHER make such a wide variety of music that they should only make EPs now, their Mini-albums always left me wanting more, but Dytopia left me satisfied. In the Frozen is easily my favorite track, but I'm glad Scream got the single spot too.
MrBody Massage Machine if you’re a fan of Dreamcatcher, you’d probably also like DAY6, although they’re a proper band with instruments, their albums are pretty much perfect, especially the everyday6 era (includes ‘SUNRISE’ and ‘MOONRISE’)

This album just amazing, showcasing different sides of DC without losing their style and vibes. Lol PD face is pikachu in entire vid and the head banging. Tbh what I like about DC is they indeed dark concept gg but they didnt try to be dark edgy.
while I do think tension is one of the less spectacular songs in the album, I don't think it sounds like their older 'rock' titles. sure, some parts of tension do sound like the typical dreamcatcher song early in their existence but the mixing and arrangement is a lot different - there's much more of a contrast between hard and soft. if you mix fly high and good night, that's where tension would sit.
Yeah, Tension is an old song (it was supposed to be their first comeback instead of Good Night) but they remixed and remastered it and changed some parts so it has their older vibe with a new twist
Honestly, I liked the album most from the first auditions of "black or white" and "SAHARA". Later, when I heard all the songs, I loved them all. But when I started reading lyrics for songs. Tension is one of the best songs for me! I really like the lyrics of this song and it is very important, I love such songs. In fact, I really love rock on my own, so Tension immediately occupied a special place and I really liked it. But after I read his lyrics - I started to like him 2 times more :)
Not gonna lie, this so far the best album from this year! Each song has a totally different genre and everything sounds so good and was well produced! LEEZ and Ollounder are literally geniuses! For me, I believe the member that most shined this era through this album was Dami! From her deep rap voice to her jazzy singing voice! Each song with amazing verses that Dami raps with an amazing flow! Although she doesn’t get a lot of lines, she definitely gets the most memorable ones! Especially with her beautiful tone! It would be really interesting if in the next song, she starts with the song maybe! Something to explore more her talent! 😊
I think Dreamcatcher's is the only comeback whose album is talked about everywhere it goes. I mean props to PDs and the girls for blessing us with this heaven's nectar. Every song in the album should be topping charts. Jazz bar is life. Insomnia fighting. Dreamcatcher Fighting.
Tension is sounds like goodnight (especially in Siyeon's high note in bridge part) the part that I'm talking about is the pre-chorus part and in the frozen sounds like Sahara at the pre-chorus part at the first verse
I feel the same way about ballads and most slow songs, but always acknowledge that they are a necessary evil when it comes to albums. They do a good job at bringing down the intensity and adding a level of calmness.
I’m convinced that Dami always comes in with an “uh” or an “eh” because she’s about to stomp on us and she wants us to prepare ourselves. Prove me wrong.

I mean honestly this has got to be Dreamcatcher's best era/album yet. They definitely have a formula that's not the norm of girl groups and I love that it works for them. I can easily say this is definitely one of my fav albums of 2020 so far hands down. Also, Dami..........that is all 🙌🏽😆 May I suggest you checking out HA:TFELT's new album '1719'. She also released 3 MVs from it, "Satellite", "Sweet Sensation", and "Solitude". This album is really special to her because it tells her life story during her darkest times. I personally really like this album, I think I feel kinda the same for Tension, I like it but I think it's the song that will stay less in my playlist. But I really love Scream, Red Sun, Black or White, Sahara, In The Frozen, these are so interesting, I also love the amount of different sound in DC's songs, idk if it's real instrumental but we can hear so many things. I think DC's produceur really know how to use DC's skills, Dami was very very charismatic in this album I LOVE Dami's tone she's one of my favorite rapper ever and she just own this era. DC is not far to be my very first UG girl group I think

RV Loona and DC arguably has the best bside discography out of all the albums/EPs I've heard from kpop in general.
I actually don't stan them and not every song is my style, but I can still definitely agree that they have one of the best bsides! :)

This album just amazing, showcasing different sides of DC without losing their style and vibes.

Tbh what I like about DC is they indeed dark concept gg but they didnt try to be dark edgy.
while I do think tension is one of the less spectacular songs in the album, I don't think it sounds like their older 'rock' titles. sure, some parts of tension do sound like the typical dreamcatcher song early in their existence but the mixing and arrangement is a lot different - there's much more of a contrast between hard and soft. if you mix fly high and good night, that's where tension would sit.
Yeah, Tension is an old song (it was supposed to be their first comeback instead of Good Night) but they remixed and remastered it and changed some parts so it has their older vibe with a new twist
Honestly, I liked the album most from the first auditions of "black or white" and "SAHARA". Later, when I heard all the songs, I loved them all. But when I started reading lyrics for songs. Tension is one of the best songs for me!
I really like the lyrics of this song and it is very important, I love such songs. In fact, I really love rock on my own, so Tension immediately occupied a special place and I really liked it. But after I read his lyrics - I started to like him 2 times more :)
Scream, In the Frozen, Jazz Bar and Red sun are my favourites, that Black or White reaction was memorable btw hehe

This album is such a GEM OMG ,actually it's one of my favorites this year and of all time.
Not gonna lie, this so far the best album from this year! Each song has a totally different genre and everything sounds so good and was well produced! LEEZ and Ollounder are literally geniuses! For me, I believe the member that most shined this era through this album was Dami! From her deep rap voice to her jazzy singing voice! Each song with amazing verses that Dami raps with an amazing flow! Although she doesn’t get a lot of lines, she definitely gets the most memorable ones! Especially with her beautiful tone! It would be really interesting if in the next song, she starts with the song maybe! Something to explore more her talent! 😊
I think Dreamcatcher's is the only comeback whose album is talked about everywhere it goes. I mean props to PDs and the girls for blessing us with this heaven's nectar. Every song in the album should be topping charts. Jazz bar is life.

Tension is sounds like goodnight (especially in Siyeon's high note in bridge part) the part that I'm talking about is the pre-chorus part and in the frozen sounds like Sahara at the pre-chorus part at the first verse
I feel the same way about ballads and most slow songs, but always acknowledge that they are a necessary evil when it comes to albums. They do a good job at bringing down the intensity and adding a level of calmness.
Thry deserve an award. Dreamcatcher always deliver great albums.

Nice Reaction PD, Honestly Dreamcatcher came out with one of the strongest albums of the year along with BTS for me so its no surprise that you were blown away with the tracks....... Also if you can please react to TXT - Dream Chapter Magic album coz its a solid work last year nd some of the best...... I do think you would enjoy it

I mean honestly this has got to be Dreamcatcher's best era/album yet. They definitely have a formula that's not the norm of girl groups and I love that it works for them. I can easily say this is definitely one of my fav albums of 2020 so far hands down. Also, Dami..........that is all 🙌🏽😆
May I suggest you checking out HA:TFELT's new album '1719'. She also released 3 MVs from it, "Satellite", "Sweet Sensation", and "Solitude". This album is really special to her because it tells her life story during her darkest times. It's a wonderful story-telling album. I'm very curious of what you think about it.

I personally really like this album, I think I feel kinda the same for Tension, I like it but I think it's the song that will stay less in my playlist.
But I really love Scream, Red Sun, Black or White, Sahara, In The Frozen, these are so interesting, I also love the amount of different sound in DC's songs, idk if it's real instrumental but we can hear so many things.
I think DC's produceur really know how to use DC's skills, Dami was very very charismatic in this album I LOVE Dami's tone she's one of my favorite rapper ever and she just own this era.
DC is not far to be my very first UG girl group I think
