I'm 52, b.1968. I had loads of GI Joe's and Action Men. Last Christmas, my wife bought me the Wal Mart repro Sea Adventurer. I know a lot of people don't like them, but they're GI Joe's, I love them, they got me back into it; I have all five now. I've got the Collector Club Talking Commander, Mike Power, and several Classic, Timeless, and vintage, I have the MSV (customized), desert patrol Jeep, ATV, and helicopter now too. Repro's got me back in, and being on a disability pension, it's hard to just buy vintage. I've added some Action Man too, sailor, soldier, footballer...I missed out on the GIJCC, shame...but I'm back in it now!!!! Love your channel!!!!

Geography in Action I have em too! Hell at this point I’d take those from Hasbro! Wish they’d get their priorities sorted!

@@skunkworksstudios I love the AT. I have worked on a lot of ideas, and have some great AT toys I would like to build. I've been laid up for about 6 years, recovering from something; end is in sight. My first build will be a boat for the Sea Adventurer. Static build, blueprints have me at about 84"x24". Problem is finding 1:6 parts, may be scratchbuilding a lot, unless I can get the 3D club at my university to me some 3D printing! You're right, I would love to see Hasbro start producing more figures, or at least accessories, and sets. Some AT stuff was weird, some of it, ahead of it's time. I will be building all of my stuff, as if the AT are still in the 70's, but have things like computers and stuff...early versions that were out anyways!!!

Found out about the club a few years before it ended. I do own two Gi Joe Club Adventure Team figures, The Talking Commander and the Black Talking Commander. The rest of my Joe's are vintage. The one thing I found about the Club Gi Joe's they were more like Adult collectibles that are meant for Display while the Vintage Joe's were real toys meant for rough and tumble play. Thanks for the video.

Nostalgic for the 70's absolutely. A vintage Joe can take a beating and keep on ticking!

I definitely want to increase my collection now that I'm older and have a few bucks saved up. I love all the repro AT figures, not sure who made all of them Hasbro I think? Anyway, I've got 4 out of 5 now, from 2006-07, just need the repro SA ginger lol. The cost of everything seems so high for the repro's, but everything seems expensive to me, haha. I had so many awesome toys and action figures as a kid and often wonder what the heck happened to all my toys sometimes. I did start a nice collection of vintage Joe's in the early 80's but my neighbor stole everything I had from my backyard one day, a total bummer so I stopped collecting them. The guy (neighbor) actually admitted to me that he stole them many years later when I ran into him at a County Fair and I forgave him after he bought me a few beers. He was actually a pretty good friend but their family was legit dirt poor and he envied and coveted those Joes so temptation was too much I guess. Sorry to ramble on but I wanted to say hello and thank you for all your videos and dedication to the hobby. I've been living vicariously through your collection so maybe I won't spend too much on nostalgia for something I probably will put in a box in the closet so it doesn't get damaged by my kids. Take care.

That’s a great story! You ain’t kidding about the price of Joes. It’s all bananas! I’ve noticed more club repro figures in eBay. They’re high though! I have some reviews coming of the last few figures then I’m gonna start with the convention sets! I appreciate the support of the channel. This is one of the most enjoyable things I do outside of family! 🤜🤛🍺

All of my figures (repro's), have needed flocking clean-up, even the GIJCC. My Action Man toys however are superior. The 40th AM have outstanding flocking, tight limbs, and the boots! The boots are the older rubber. I don't lose sleep over the WM flocking, once it's cleaned-up, they look good, their hats fit better, and they look tanned and fit!

Great review, the Gijoe adventure team was a bad ass second to none toy brings great memories and lots of nostalgia. Have you ever restored a mobile support vehicle with the working lights and radar dish? Great video

That’s a good question. The prices of vintage AT Joes has seen an upswing over the last few years. If he talks well and has no cracks in the knees, flock in good shape in original fatigues and the hands are still rubbery…you’d get in the area of $200+ prob more with the box. I’m prob being conservative. Best idea is to search on eBay for something similar and see what the actual bids are! That’s what I do. It gives you a good ballpark figure. Right now it seems like the late issue stuff like the muscle bodies are hot! The short lives super joe stuff is up there as well!
