We have had success using Spelling You See along side Logic of English Essentials.

This school year (2021-22) my daughter finished Foundations A and is halfway through Foundations B. On paper, she is in 1st grade. My son, 3rd grade, completed Essentials Unit 1-7 (Level B and without the Reader). My son started homeschool at the beginning of 2nd grade and was already reading well. Essentials was a great fit since it helped him with his spelling. I may continue with the next set of Essentials Units, but it is time consuming. I will have my daughter do Foundations C and D.
How long did you take to cover A-D? I wondering if I should aim to cover C during the next school year or C and D because I want her to learn at least at the public school pace. I'm not sure what the grade level equivalents are for LOE.
    Thanks for this review!

It took us 3 years - A & B in kindergarten, C in 1st grade, and D in 2nd. We could have done C and D in one year but it would have made the lessons really long each day and I didn’t feel like we needed to rush so we took it nice and easy.

Perhaps you can help me understand what we do with the spelling analysis words once we’re done (besides reviewing them during the Miles and Jax lessons (I’m almost done with Level C with my son)). I always felt like we practice spelling these new words but never revisit them or get prompted to test them. Do you know if we’re supposed to practice them on our own? And thank you for this review 😊

I don’t do anything additional with them. Some families keep practicing them but a lot don’t. They’re still so young in Foundations that it’s more for exposure not mastery.
