Hey mate just a quick update on this camera. It does have 425 focus points. The only difference between the two sensors is that the 100 II is slightly faster and that's the only difference. I researched these two camera cameras ad nauseam and you will see with my other comment that I do own this camera and it's wonderful but yeah, it does have 425 focus points.
I will give my thoughts on this camera from a medium to long-term user even though it's only been out for about six months. I have owned this camera for five months and I can honestly say I love it and I am not just pumping it up because I use it I do use this camera professionally and honestly I've already made my money back in Prints sales and other work since I own this camera. I upgraded from the 50S ii. I wanted the sharper auto focus and the extra megapixels while really not needed to come in handy. When you want to crop in significantly lots of people say oh you don't need 100 megapixels but when you've had it and you can crop in into insane amounts what it essentially means is you don't have to carry as many lenses and that is a nice addition. I found the auto I focus to be pretty good with the faster lenses and I have four GFX lenses now and I shoot everything from weddings landscapes portraits product Photography a bit of everything I would say 70% of my work is landscapes but I'm doing a lot of other Photography and I'm past the six week honeymoon phase. I'm well entrenched into using this as my workhorse and I honestly cannot fault it. I think it's actually the better Photography camera because it is about 300 g lighter than the 100 II and feels better in the hand. The one less frames per second you're not going to miss and I have shot some basic sports with it and some surfers as well and I had no problems. I've done about four or five portrait shoots with it and no problems at all nailing I focus in fact that focus is better than my XT5 camera but that's probably due to firm. If anybody wants to ask me a question and I don't want to take over Anthony's video they can have a look at my Instagram and send me a direct message on how this camera operates from a long-term perspective given that I've used it for now five months. The files out of this camera can only be described as JD that stands for jaw dropping.... People say you shouldn't pixel peep but when you own a GFX camera you will be pixel peeping all the time not because you need to check it's just because you enjoy it. To be honest I don't really know many people shooting video and medium format when there are so many good small video cameras around that are much more easy to hold and use there's not many people even using the GFX 100 II for video. If you want to ask me a question - instagram nevclarke_artphotography. And the reason I went for this particular model was I didn't like the viewfinder it stuck out. I actually like to press my face up against the side of the camera. It just feels natural. It's old school approach. I compare the files out of this camera to a Nikon Z8 and this camera blows it out of the water. It's not even a conversation so if you are looking at upgrading to this camera you will get better files. Yes it is a slower camera but the files and photos out of this thing next level. And just to finish off one comment that Anthony made which is incorrect and not having a go at Anthony at all is this camera does have 425 focus points?
@atogweoghieaga2205 no, that's wrong, the G is not silent but it's impossible for me to write how to pronounce it. Go on wordreference, set it to Italian and look for the word "guglia" . Hear the pronunciation, then remove the final a and add -otta at the end (also double t is supposed to be pronounced as a strong t, not as an "r")
Why don't you accept the answers you are getting? Or at least accept Anthony's answer that he doesn't know himself? Your repeated requests have become tedious.
Affordable medium format is used GFX100S - incredible value for 2900$ of price. And with EF glass through fringer it just awesome (native glass too expensive, huge and heavy, slow motors and finally not that fast aperture to justify it somehow). Though 3-5 years later I would buy used GFX100SII.
Affordable is relative. For the demographic interested in medium format this is in fact affordable. It's no different than saying a Canon R8 is an affordable full frame camera, when in reality the R8 would still be an expensive camera compared to someone interested in entry-level APSC
I have an XT5 but I also own this GFX camera as well and they are chalk and cheese. When you've started to look at GFX files close up your jaw hits the ground and you just stare at the files and your lips don't move.. I still own my XT5 and I love that Cameron and use it on a regular basis but I do love my GFX camera more. It's just a beast of a thing that is just amazing to use. I have worked really hard in my Photography business over the last few years and this year I was able to afford this camera with a few lenses and I certainly will not be leaving the system. I love it and I'm only just starting to scratch the surface with this camera.
@@nevvanclarke9225 For me going classic fuji would be buying an xpro. I thought that if he liked the GFX ergonomics then if he would try the X line the Xh2 would be the mini GFX hahah
Would you ever use a medium format camera? Let me know if you want to see more Fuji or medium format content!

Day 8 of asking anthony how to pronounce his last name
I may be wrong certainly but I want to assume it’s pronounced Guliotta. The G should be silent otherwise it will be arduous for mere mortals like us
Goo-gli-oh-ta

I use a gfx 50s with adapted mamiya lenses
What mamiya lenses do you use? What adapter are you using?
Bro really cenvored the colour grading
You Look Like The Spanish Soccer ⚽️ Player David Villa
what about another Fuji cameras?
Love when creators use the word affordable for a $8,000 camera (with tax) my A7IV and FX3 together cost $6500… CRAZY…
Isn’t this camera $5000? Not that it’s cheap, but that’s a lot different than $8000

Compared to a phase one, it's affordable
You gotta try the xh2

@mrprofesor6131 Yeah, I get the analogy of the build quality.Look, I love all Fuji cameras. They are great and the X cameras are still fantastic
Can you explain the differences on all the auto focus stuff with the canon 70-200? For example what does is iii usm mean?
Is there a bigger sensor than medium format?
There is
Yes, but very uncommon
Yes, the "true" 6x4,5 sensor used by - mainly - PhaseOne that has the same dimensions as 645 film negatives. Costs you a kidney plus your grandma.
Got a few questions her bud. Do you engage with any of your followers or is your account just a cash grab for endorsements?
5 499,00 € Affordable ?
For a medium format yes
😂😅
