In 2017 while in Iceland, we met a German couple with their expedition camper (MAN based unit) they had the first dishwasher I have ever seen in a camper. Meanwhile another couple with their Mercedes based expedition camper also have a dishwasher, I haven't seem it but did hear of it, so dishwashers are obviously gaining ground. I would assume the name Loch is derived from the Scottish word for lake, which is loch?
Cool that you've seen some other campers with them. There are a few other small countertop versions. I like this one as it is more compact than other models I've seen. Yes, I would think the Loch Electronics name comes from the area they are based, Edinburgh, Scotland.
Well, this video was not what i was expecting, but this thing could be nice when you have the space for it. Is the water reusable or does it need a new filling every time? Also does it take tabs?
You could fill the included tank with shower or sink drain waste water, or from a gray tank. I don't yet know if it will take the popular dishwasher tabs. Will check and let know soon.
Looking forward to seeing the results. Will be great to find out the amount of water being used, power consumption, and noise level I think 👍
I will share as I start using it.
This can also wash fruits and veggies, phones, toys and other items with its UV disinfection.
That is a really interesting idea. I am looking forward to seeing what your experience is with it.
Thanks, me too.
Did you ever get this installed and is there a review?

wash cycles are about 15 minutes long.
Not a bad idea once you think about it. How long does it take for a complete wash and dry cycle?
It's a 15 minute wash cycle and can also wash fruits and veggies, and phones, toys, and other items with UV disinfection.
