If a horse finally kicks someone. I was in a small stable with a formerly abused horse who could freak out if you put the saddle on. She kicked so hard the 1 inch metal Bars on he door bent like a ( and broke at the lower end.
It is not that they don’t understand. It is they choose not to obey. And nobody stops them. Even on the guards in fatigues bring people over to pet the horses. You know the old saying “monkey see monkey do”
It's so discouraging that warnings whether spoken or pictured still are ignored. I Q is so low,today nothing of respect.

If you are visiting a historical attraction wouldn’t you inform yourself regarding rules that may apply? If you get there and see a sign , wouldn’t you immediately inform yourself?? If no, then you are grossly ignorant
Like .....try to go into a church or any historical building in basically not much more than a Bikini , with a Burger in hand and be surprised if you get kicked out ... in some countries you could be arrested for eating on specific places , because of the trash, the leftovers, the pigeons and rats who get attracted.....
They need to get rid of these wimpy guards who seem to be afraid to command these tourists not to touch the Horse as they attempt to do so. Now that the new sign has been created more tourists are going to challenge that with the abuse of the Horses worse than before. Every guard must be instructed not to allow anyone child or adult not to touch the Horse.

@@caroldocherty6810 There have been a number of guards who allowed the tourists to abuse the Horse AFTER the new sign went up including the sign indicating do not touch the Horse. ANY guard that allowed this to happen is a wimp no doubt. I would have had more stones to protect the Horses and the guards the way they should have been. And yourself?
the new sign changing the Rule to not touching the horse has been up for almost 2 weeks - every army trooper is required to follow the Rules whether he/she likes them or not - his commanding officer should remove him from ceremonial duty and have him returned to active military service -
@@battles146 I agree with you. When the female police officer is on duty the rules are followed. Hopefully these guards will work together in preventing this abuse restoring their reputation.
I believe, when on ceremonial duty, at attention, as these troopers are, to engage with distractions is not permitted

That’s what I was thinking when you look at this and they choose to touch it anyway and then the guard says nothing… It’s like a parent that never corrects their kids. They’re going to keep doing it. I feel sorry for the horses.
Two big signs indicating the horses cannot be touched and people are still mangling the horses. Why are the guards not enforcing it?
These are wonderful people and horses WORKING. They MUST be shown the respect they deserve. What will it take for tourists to just look and then go away. ITS NOT A PETTING ZOO !

It wouldn’t matter if a dozen signs were put up if the guards aren’t enforcing them. IMO.
Most of the videos I have seen the guards do nothing. Everything from letting someone pass in the box past the horse and didn't notice, toʻ one guy that was quietly told to loose the reins and the guy just grinned and put his hand on the guards leg for a cool minute. The guard said nothing. It seems very rare for the guards to say anything to anyone disobeying the signs

I find it ridiculous how some people are ridiculing these guards for not yelling trust me they know how to do their jobs better than you guys making rude comments like couch warriors. Show some respect. I’m sure if they touch them for more than a second they will yell calm down with the rude comments

this trooper is NOT a Life Guard, he is a Blues and Royals - both are the 2 top mounted divisions of the British army - if you're going to post these videos at least learn the history of Horse Guards so as to avoid inaccurate titles -

It’s frustrating watching these entitled tourists continue to ignore the rules. At the same time, the guards are right there on the horse. They need to start enforcing it. They just seem to either ignore the people touching the horse or they’re not paying enough attention. Once one person gets away doing it everyone else will do it too
Where is the sign that says DO NOT TOUCH THE HORSES ??? That was the only time I saw the horses peaceful yet alert. It exhausts me just watching all the tourists suck the energy right out of the guards and horses. Tourism equals money, and that's what puts the guards and mounts on display. Ps. I see the poop is back, and the horses are slipping again. Tune it up, Buckingham Palace !!

The guards and horses are at the top of their game and more than capable of dealing with these tourists. I've never heard of a kings horse nor a kings guard being hurt or killed by annoying tourists .
This is a tradition that has been happening for centuries so why all the talk about changing things now.

This poor horse is very uncomfortable and needs help. Distress is blatantly ignored. Disgusting!
They simply don't care, nor do they care when they put small children in danger, if the horse was to "bolt " and injure the child or themselves" they would be trying to blame the horse instead of the "braindead instigator of themselves allowing it to happen. by ignoring the "Warning signs. If such a thing was to go to Court they would be asked just "why did you put the child near to the r horse - the excuse that you wanted a photograph simply would not suffice. and they could possibly be punished for doing so.

each horse only stands guard in the sentry box for an hour, then the change takes place - they are present from 11am to 4pm (London time) then Horse Guards is closed and locked down -
cada cavalo fica de guarda na guarita por apenas uma hora, depois ocorre a troca - eles ficam presentes das 11h às 16h (horário de Londres), depois a Horse Guards é fechada e trancada -
What's with the repetitive close-ups on the signs? a couple would do, and you could cut this down to about 5 minutes given nothing much happens. Too boring

That one lady with the kid walked right up, patted the horse & not ONCE did she look at the sign! ALL of the guards need to speak up & tell these ignorant people to read the sign!
