The Dome of the Rock, though original built in 691, collapsed in 1015, was rebuilt in 1022-23. Do we know that the script which is on it on the rebuilt one, has the same information as the original one? So then we have to take the Muslim's word that it had those words on it, or was this elsewhere recorded. Muslims lie for the sake of Islam. I hope someone can answer me with facts.
Very insightful. As a catholic I always seem to rely on a protestant to explain the gospels to me but he has also explained so much about Islam I never really got. My own belief- Jesus was really God taking Human form and wrestling back his good name from the extremists on one hand and the corrupt priest class of its day on the other that claimed ownership of god and dared judge people, a simple people with little education, and convince them they were worthless and dirty sinners. For Jesus, God was a living God not a written inflexible God and, writing, the newest invention of its time not a trap to forever imprison the people. Its too easy to produce a formula of "what God said" when the real challenge in life is to decide yourself what is right for the complexity that is our lives- the Muslim question being one: how do we deal with a people trapped by a schitzotypal prophet who legitimized tribal laws as the law of God? How do we let them know that we see their religion as no more legitimate than if one of our drugs gangland warlords got a knock on the head, felt god had empowered him and proceeded to intimidate his community into accepting the rules of gangland as the law of god.
God tells us faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. The god of this world has blinded the MINDS of those who who don't believe so that they CANNOT see. It's a strange view that followers of Islam don't read the Qur'an, they just memorize it instead so as not to destroy Islam. As in my case it just happened the other way round. I read the Qur'an and I found it fascinating indeed. Some of the verses reflect the ideas that are way beyond their own time and preach a very civilized world view. There're verses that reflect very deep insights regarding human nature and the dinamics as well as the factors that shape it. It's beautiful. Obviously some of the verses contain God's real message while the others aim to guide people who had embraced this message while dealing with their specific problems regarding their wellfare and security. There are some verses that aim to boost the morale of Prophet Muhammad and early followers of the religion to encourage them as well. It's such an easy text to understand. The problem probably is that the order of the chapters of the Qur'an are different than the revelation order.If you read the Qur'an with the revelation order together with the relavant historical accounts you'll see that it's just very fascinating.

No Jesus is Son of God. When Jesus was asked this question, he said truthfully that I am son of God. He did not say that son of God & God are one. There's duality in it. The speaker talks that son inherits from God & therefore he is same as God; this is just a way to tell a lie to the world, when even Jesus did not say he was God.

Until now if you visit Jerusalem the wall of the temple still there. 4- Jesus prophecies that the Day of Judgment will happen before all of his disciples die!!!! They gave more importance for truth and salvation rather than monetary benefits and wealth. Nabeel Quraishi ,David Wood and Jay Smith belong to the second category. Quran poses a challenge to the world to create at least one verse similar to it out of 6666 verses. Several scholars like Pikthal and Coptic Christians whose mother tongue is Arabic tried their whole life but in Vain. However most of them embraced Islam. However Marmuduke Pikthal's translation of Holy Quran into Arabic was a pinnacle of glory. Perhaps, Jay Smith who claims to be a scholar in Quran is not afraid of hell fire.
If you wish to learn about scuba diving, would you ask an experienced scuba diver to teach you what you need to know or would you ask someone who has read many books on the subject but has never gone scuba diving in his life? A search on RUclips will reveal videos on scholarly rebuttals to all the claims and insinuations that Jay Smith makes about the early copies of the Qur'an and one example of a particularly pointed rebuttal is that carbon dating examines the age of the paper, parchment or any other material that the pages are made of, NOT the age when the text was written on them.. and for anyone to broadly assume that the text of the Qur'an were written soon after the paper or parchment was made is simply without evidence whatsoever. Christians like Jay Smith need to remember that trying their darnedest to show that the Qur'an is false does not in any way prove that the Bible is true and what they really need to do is to love Christianity more than they hate Islam.. And one way to do this would be to spend a lot more time producing more videos exhorting the truth and extolling the virtues of Christianity rather than dedicate their efforts towards producing videos with the intent of "proving" the falsehood of Islam.
Islam saves more lives every single year worldwide through it's prohibition on alcohol consumption alone than all the lives saved through the work of all the winners of the Nobel Prize in Medicine since it's inception put together.. and so, if they are giving away Nobel Prizes in Medicine on the basis of the number of lives saved by the work of the recipients, then the Muslim world as a whole deserves to be awarded at least a few thousand Nobel Prizes in Medicine since it's inception for successfully teaching and continually implementing a proven and effective cure for alcoholism which undoubtedly kills millions of people all over the world annually. Read Phillipians 2:6 onwards. Being in the form of God ...took on the form of a servant...became obedient unto death...of the cross. Paul declares that Jesus is God who took on another form.
Almost all the passages quoted show the fact that God took on a form of a man meant that as a man he took on our limitations. To quote Jesus' limitations only proves the point that God took on another form that was limited. For example, he wanted to know who touched him, he never knew the day of his return to earth. If God took on human nature, obviously it would be limited, because human nature is limited to time & place.

Very insightful. As a catholic I always seem to rely on a protestant to explain the gospels to me but he has also explained so much about Islam I never really got. My own belief- Jesus was really God taking Human form and wrestling back his good name from the extremists on one hand and the corrupt priest class of its day on the other that claimed ownership of god and dared judge people, a simple people with little education, and convince them they were worthless and dirty sinners. For Jesus, God was a living God not a written inflexible God and, writing, the newest invention of its time not a trap to forever imprison the people. Its too easy to produce a formula of "what God said" when the real challenge in life is to decide yourself what is right for the complexity that is our lives- the Muslim question being one: how do we deal with a people trapped by a schitzotypal prophet who legitimized tribal laws as the law of God? It's a strange view that followers of Islam don't read the Qur'an, they just memorize it instead so as not to destroy Islam. As in my case it just happened the other way round. I read the Qur'an and I found it fascinating indeed. Some of the verses reflect the ideas that are way beyond their own time and preach a very civilized world view. There're verses that reflect very deep insights regarding human nature and the dinamics as well as the factors that shape it. It's beautiful.
Obviously some of the verses contain God's real message while the others aim to guide people who had embraced this message while dealing with their specific problems regarding their wellfare and security. There are some verses that aim to boost the morale of Prophet Muhammad and early followers of the religion to encourage them as well. It's such an easy text to understand. The problem probably is that the order of the chapters of the Qur'an are different than the revelation order.If you read the Qur'an with the revelation order together with the relavant historical accounts you'll see that it's just very fascinating.

No Jesus is Son of God. When Jesus was asked this question, he said truthfully that I am son of God. He did not say that son of God & God are one. There's duality in it. 2- Jesus prophecies his second coming before all of his disciples dies in Matthew 16:27-28 (unfulfilled). Jesus' description of his second coming clearly means he's coming in the Day of Judgment.
Also, Jesus prophecies his coming back as in Matthew 10:23 by saying he will come back before his disciples finish going through the towns of Israel.
Until now, Jesus did not come back.
3- Jesus' prophecy about the total destruction of the temple of Jerusalem in Matthew 24:1-2, Mark 13:1-2, and Luke 21:6. (Unfulfilled). Until now if you visit Jerusalem the wall of the temple still there.
4- Jesus prophecies that the Day of Judgment will happen before all of his disciples die!!!! (Matthew 16: 27, 28, Matthew 24:25-34, Luke 21:32 and Matthew 10:23)
Luke 21:32 "Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

Christians like Jay Smith need to remember that trying their darnedest to show that the Qur'an is false does not in any way prove that the Bible is true and what they really need to do is to love Christianity more than they hate Islam.. And one way to do this would be to spend a lot more time producing more videos exhorting the truth and extolling the virtues of Christianity rather than dedicate their efforts towards producing videos with the intent of "proving" the falsehood of Islam.
Islam saves more lives every single year worldwide through it's prohibition on alcohol consumption alone than all the lives saved through the work of all the winners of the Nobel Prize in Medicine since it's inception put together.. and so, if they are giving away Nobel Prizes in Medicine on the basis of the number of lives saved by the work of the recipients, then the Muslim world as a whole deserves to be awarded at least a few thousand Nobel Prizes in Medicine since it's inception for successfully teaching and continually implementing a proven and effective cure for alcoholism which undoubtedly kills millions of people all over the world annually.
And apart from alcoholism, Islam has also proven to be an effective cure for various other causes of death like suicide and abortion, which of course would also total in the countless millions worldwide every single year.. and I would think that this is worth a few thousand more Nobel Prizes in Medicine that deservedly should be awarded to the Muslim world.
The point here is that the teachings of Islam saves quite literally millions of lives every single year worldwide and this is something that the "teachings" of atheism and indeed virtually all other faiths fail to do.
Wellness and prevention being a whole lot better than sickness and cure is a universally accepted principle in the field of medicine and Islam is clearly an extremely influential and effective promulgator of this medical principle.. and therefore, a true and honest humanist would have no hesitation at all in acknowledging Islam's immense and continuous contribution to humanity.

Almost all the passages quoted show the fact that God took on a form of a man meant that as a man he took on our limitations. ► Prophet Muhammad Uncle Abu-Lahab was a pagan leader who hated Prophet Muhammad and the message of Islam and he sought in any an effort to Kill Prophet Muhammad and Muslim. Allah revealed verses written in the Quran telling Muslims that Abu-Lahab will be put into hell-fire in the Day of Judgment ( Surah 111), this means that Abu-Lahab will die without accepting Islam. If Prophet Muhammad was the author of the Quran do you think he will even dare to write these verses which gives Abu-Lahab the GOLDEN opportunity he is looking for to destroy Islam in its first stages. But because Allah the ALL-KNOWING God who is speaking, He knows exactly 100% what Abu-Lahab will not accept Islam at all.
If Abu-Lahab after hearing Surah 111 verses accepted Islam EVEN FALSELY, he would have proved that the Quran is wrong and it is not the Word of God the All-Knowing.
Abu-Lahab died as a pagan worshiper after 10 years from revealing Surah 111 without accepting Islam.

اتَّخِذِي + فَاسْلُكِي + كُلِي all end with "ي" and this is Arabic makes the verb for female. if it was for male it will be اتَّخِذِ + فَاسْلُكِ + كُلِ

Also Jesus prophecies his coming back as in Matthew 10:23 by saying he will come back before his disciples finish going through the towns of Israel.
Until now Jesus did not come back.
3- Jesus prophecy about the total destruction of the temple of Jerusalem in Matthew 24:1-2, Mark 13:1-2, and Luke 21:6. (Unfulfilled). Until now if you visit Jerusalem the wall of the temple still there.
4- Jesus prophecies the end of the word in his generation (Luke 21:32 )
