Uthman then ordered people to burn all scattered Quranic manuscripts and ordered people to follow the standard Quran written and read in Quraishi dialect (used by the prophet). Caliph Uthman then ordered the committee to make several copies of the Standard Quran and send the copies to every province. Every copy was accompanied with someone who memorize the entire Quran to teach people how to read and memorized the Quran. As the caliph (head of the state) Uthman has the right to burn scattered Quranic manuscript that does not conform to standard text. The existence of scattered disorganized Quran manuscript will confuse people who read it. standardization is modern way of thinking, Even today everything is standardized. Uthman action was praised by every Muslims throughout the history. Not all scattered manuscripts were successfully burned, few survived. The Birmingham Quran manuscript is a parchment on which two leaves of an early Quranic manuscript are written, is probably part of scattered manuscript that survive. In 2015 the manuscript, was radiocarbon dated to between 568 and 645 CE. Since the Uthmanic Quranic standard was completed around 650 CE, the Birmingham parchment was written before Uthmanic standardized the Quran. The writer may have known the prophet personally. Upon closer inspection, these portions is very close to the form of the Qur’an read today, supporting the view that the text has undergone little or no alteration and that it can be dated to a point very close to the time it was believed to be revealed. 3). What is meant by exactly the same Qur'an is the Qur'an with the same rasm (skeletal text). The reading may be different depending on the dialect. To guide people read according to a particular dialect, people add dotting and vowelization, and such additions occurred about one hundred years after the Quran was first written. The same thing happens when reading today's Arabic newspapers. Although the skeletal text is the same, the reading may be different depending on the dialect. Without dotting and vowelization, People in Maroco may read some words and understand it differently from those who live in Oman. By the way, the Quran was revealed in reading/recitation not in written form. When the Quran was written some words were written using slightly different styles of writing. For example, The word of rahmata can be written using open “ta” or closed “ta”. But when it read, the sound dan meaning are the same ie. mercy. 6). Arabic Qur’an is preserved in heaven. Quran exists in a preserved book (Lohmahfuz), a book that also contains all the secret of Allah such as the end of day, how long someone will life etc. The Quran is indeed preserved, but the idea it is preserved in written Arabic script in heavenly tablet and that it is an uncreated book from eternity past are really big lies circulated numerous times by Christian Polemicist. Christian Polemicist were all wrong when they say that Quran in heavenly tablets are written in Arabic script. It is quite funny because today, it is quite common to find the Quran in original Arabic script and Arabic in Latin script and its translation. As long as the sentence in Latin script when read by people is clearly in Arabic and the meaning is the same, it is okay to use Latin scripts. 7). Dan Brubakers work on Quran Corection prove Quran preservation Dan Brubaker has done a good job on analysing correction in early Qur'an manuscript. This correction is based Quran that memorize by people . After corrected more than thousand years ago, the corrected version is very similar to Hafs Quran. Christian Polemicist misused Dan's finding by circulating a wrong story about corrections in the Qur'an as a prof that the Qur'an is not preserved. When someone asks Brubaker how similar early Qur'an are? The answer is YES by and large, they are very similar.
