My mate casually dropping one of the most smoothly voiced and slickly produced STALKER videos out there. Hope this series takes off! Great work as always...
Moonlights and Flashes are always worth the risk. Crystals should also be highly treasured and kept. You won't need to wear more than two Crystals at a time. Pair with two Moonlights and either a Mica or Slug and you'll have a combo that allows you to sprint without limit when unencumbered (or will grant rapid stamina regen when you're encumbered), gives you high rad resistance, and will help with bleeding. 6:53 "Hobo with a shotgun." 7:44 Not bad, not bad. Since you made that headshot on a snork using a pistol, then I have some Zone Sportsmanship Challenges that might interest you. 8:39 Also, this is one of those games that handicaps shotguns by making them throw loose patterns when fired from the hip. But that sawed-off TOZ-66 (called "BM-16" in-game) is still the most realistic depiction of a "rabbit-ear" (double hammer) style of side-by-side shotgun in any game ever, partially because it depicts the hammers being corrected thumbed back with the thumb instead of being palmed back with the palm. 9:05 You've mastered the "shuttlecock" trajectory of 9x39. 9:12 Also, iron sights are better than scopes for indoor fighting. 11:42 So be sure to have yerself a "roadside picnic." 16:11 Amadeus from 'Struggling' is a better opera singer than The Great Mighty Poo. Change my mind. 32:44 Try nailing snorks in the head with a pistol. Or with a rifle using iron sights. Or there's always the classic "blast them out of the air with a shotgun loaded with buckshot" skeet-style method. The more challenging the shot, the more sporting it is. The way I figure it, the most challenging "snork sport" is nailing super long-jumping "man-eating" snorks (the kind you'll usually find in the Red Forest, though they'll sometimes appear elsewhere once you've been in the Zone long enough) in the head with a pistol while they're in the air lunging at you. 36:08 Same mentality as those of us who craft Zone Sportsmanship Challenges. 44:33 FCM (fuel-containing material) formations. 45:50 My "kid" sister was born the day of the Ch?rnobyl disaster, and I was born the day of the Vostok-2M disaster. 46:45 How would that work, though? They'd have to do it Anomaly-style where enemy ammo is non-existent for no reason.
Excellent video as always. Technically you could repair armour, but it required 5 artifacts of the same type and you also had to stand in the anomaly in which they were created. I only found out by accident as I was being ambushed in Wild Territory and had 5 Moonlights on my belt as I was doing a run to Yantar. I was pushed into an electro by a mutant and noticed my armour bar recharging. After that I wore my SEVA everywhere.
Batteries, not Moonlights. Pellicles are the easiest to get because you can earn them from Professor Sakharov by doing repeatable missions. Four will do, but five is the max number you'll need.
Cheers! 🍻 Hah, I had completely forgot that exploit. Someone else also told me that it’s possible to get a high-powered weapon from Sid fairly early, but it’s a low % roll.
@@HeyBlondieGamer The 5.45 Groza. Sid has a chance to sell it, but ONLY until you turn in the Nimble quest to Wolf. So basically you have to grind a stupid amount of money before completing that first quest. And possibly save scum. Doable, but I've only actually done it once.
@CatspawAdventures I deliberately omitted this point because it’s so obscure and has such a low RNG that it’s not practical to rely on. By design, I’m sure, but still. I can’t even recall if I knew about this back in the day. 😳
Great to replay, but immense chore in the endgame going for True Ending Can't play it without mods either - did grasp the system of "first bullet, no bursts" but still bad.
Yeah, that true ending has some drawn out bullshit to wade through. I’ll be covering a couple of mods in part 4, I have a feeling that a mod recommendation will probably be the way to go for new players. Although the mutants in vanilla SoC are far better implemented than any existing mod I’m aware of. They actually pose a credible threat.
I'm loving this series, listening to it while grinding missions in Anomaly to pimp my Exosuit. One interesting side effect (intended?), whenever there's gunfire, anomaly sounds, or blind dog barks in the video, I drop everything I'm doing and start looking around to find the threat. It's making my playthrough more stressful, in a fun way
Uh yeah, pretty sure I just mentally blocked the word "bones" out of the Stone Blood's description. Definitely remember having read it, never made the connection that they were often made from once living things.

Thanks, my man, much appreciated!

Hey algorithm, Blondie is worth watching.
Did I do it right? :D
You did great! 🍻

Oh yes, Stalker was always endless well of inspiration for campfire stories... as seen in cimments of your longplay series...
The memories… 😱
Damn, I really hope you get more recognition. You are very good with words.
Cheers! 🍻

I tried playing GAMMA once while watching another Stalker video. It didn’t go well 😂
I like your stalker videos. Subscribed)
Cheers! 🍻
Blondie is a worth watch😉
Great video!
Cheeki Breeki time!
The Breekiest of times.
Great
Another excellent breakdown blondie. Your work is appreciated.
Thank you, my friend 🍻
Great video! Never had a PC but bought this the other night on my Playstation and I'm starting to get the hang of it.
Good stuff. Stick with it, it’s a rewarding game loop. And take your time to poke around and check out the locations.

I reckon that’s for the best. There are some crazy macabre artefacts out there.
37:00 where is this from lmfao
this is a kino 2 part video. Great writing and well presented
Randy Pitchford’s butchering of music? That was a Gearbox Twitch stream from PAX 2016 I believe. It was memeable for many years afterward 😂
Cheers! 🍻
Glad to have you in the zone, Blondie!
A place I always return to. I’ll be haunting it when I die. 😅
I thought geez this is good, and he's aussie like me. I should subs-.....i already was subsribed. Good analysis, and great production value.
Haha, cheers, mate 🍻
