      Cocaine is fucking amazing
You feel like you want to talk to everyone right now. Like hey listen to me. Here’s what I have to offer.
      Value.
      Value right now.
Every person you meet has the ability to astound you.
Tonight I met a friend of the guy who owns the hotel.
He’s been there like ten times. Only orders steak and eggs.
This is the first restaurant I’ve been to where they charge for water.
Water is a non zero item. Three dollars for hydrogen and oxygen and some covalent bonds.
Multivalent is a word I tried to use in an English essay one time and I got called out on it but I feel like it’s a good word.
My socks are comfortable. My pants are not. I need a U shaped crotch. This one is V shaped.
Cocaine is a fucking hell of a drug.
Also why are you hanging your mirror on this fucking plastic amateur shit?
      You should have like brass…
This isn’t your usual cocaine rant.
Last time I had cocaine I was silent.
I’ve never felt like I had to say something more than at that moment, but then didn’t say it.
      Which is a little sad.
But I did a lot more cocaine tonight.
Also if you could look up the Deadpool sexuality article online that would be great.
      There’s a Deadpool article.
But it’s like hetero-something is the new homophobia.
Silverado is the SUV right? We did cocaine in there.
And in every bathroom we went to.
And I talked to various gay dudes.
      Mostly about content marketing.
I feel like that’s what I excel at. You know. Is short term memory.
I might have gotten two or three cards tonight. Because let’s be honest. Men do the fucking business.
Don’t publish this under my name please.
I met several Puerto Ricans too.
I hope my head movement isn’t disturbing you.
I feel like I was really really smart one time. Like I was incredibly smart in high school. And I was surprisingly smart in college. I would write something and the teacher would write it up on the board and be like look at this. Look at what this kid did. This is great.
But you get out of school and then it’s just like. I don’t know.
Nobody fucking cares about Walt Whitman.
      Or Epicurus. Or Swinburne.
      Have you read Swinburne?
      You should look into Swinburne.
      He’s a pre-Raphaelite.
They were the guys after Tennyson and before T.S. Elliot.
He wrote a really good poem about Sappho. Who was this lesbian poet in Ancient Greece before Christ.
It was really violent and, you know, awesome. It just really tickles you.
There’s a really good poem called The Woodspurge. It’s this like dandelion they have in England.
It’s basically like this three pronged weed.
And it’s about this person who’s had his heart broken.
And all he can remember from all the grief is that he saw a woodspurge and it had three prongs.
When something really significant happens to you, you can only focus on the most insignificant things in your life.
      I should memorize more poems.
The only poem I’ve ever memorized is Desiderata.
It’s like the most poemest of poems.
But I just can’t right now. My mind is electric you know. It’s circuits.
I feel like kissing somebody on the forehead is really like a cheesy move.
You know I really care about you, but only from here upwards. Only from your eyebrows to your fucking hair.
I recited that poem on the last day of college. Desiderata.
That day was just so full of tears.
It was also the day I drove to Myrtle Beach.
The dotted lines kept turning into solid lines.
But when I got there it was so great.
Except that one night on the beach that didn’t go well. When I just couldn’t find the right thing to say to her. That made me really sad.
This city is so great. The newness is so great. Every person you meet has never met you. They don’t have any reasons to hate you yet.
And you just have to be there to tell them what you’re about. What you stand for, who you are.
I met a guy who’s written for Comedy Central.
I’d read this headline and that head implanted itself in my head.
Let’s write a story right now.
A story I would write would be about a kid who grew up where I grew up, but who worked his way up to working at a building like the one I’m looking at right now.
But that’s not an exciting story.
      That’s just following the rules.
You know who sucks? People ignoring their father who’s gonna pay for whatever it is you’re buying.
This guy with quaffed brown wavy hair orders a $700 dinner and doesn’t even look up from his phone.
      I don’t know.
Is this productive for you at all?
Usually when I get home from work I just kinda scratch my inner thighs.
      Cuz it feels sooo good.
I’m so glad that guy likes me. I had such a great time bonding with him and doing cocaine in the bathroom of a gay bar.
When’s the appropriate time to broach the subject that you’re not gay?
Who’s that philosopher whose all about sets. Wittgenstein?
No, Bertrand Russell. Yea that’s the guy. Set theory guy.
There are guys who you find attractive, but it’s like a small, small, set.
Like you see yourself in the mirror, and you can see how that could be attractive to somebody.
And you reinforce your attractions to how you look like.
There’s this guy there who everybody hated who styled himself exactly like me.
He told the hostess he wanted steak and eggs waiting for him when he got there because he knew the owner.
He’s achieved a level of success where he can walk into a restaurant and order anything he wants. Even if it’s not on the menu.
      But he was by himself.
He sat at a table for four, but he was by himself.
I don’t know what to make of that.
Do you see a story in here yet?
This other guy I met, the gay guy. He had to coach me on how to do cocaine. First time was the Calvin Klein. Which is cocaine and ketamine.
Ketamine isn’t a fun drug after a while. It also makes your poop really thin. Like under grown carrots.
I’m sorry I went to Trader Joe’s without you.
I could speak poetically if you’d like.
But I feel like all my kinetic energy is spent on my neck movement right now.
      I’m so glad I’m here.
I met a guy who writes for a show on Comedy Central and did cocaine with him in the bathroom of a gay bar.
The great thing about cooking is you never come up with the same thing twice.
Herodotus said that. You never step in the same river twice.
Alright let’s try some fucking poetry.
It’s so humbling to walk past a pillar on a bank that’s worth more than you are. In terms of marble.
My weight in marble is not worth what I am as a human being.
      That’s a crazy thing.
Or that every time you walk past a street meat station. That’s five dollars and fifty cents of your income that day.
The fact that this apartment can change in a matter of months.
I was watching Mad Men. And Pete Campbell’s apartment was exactly like this one.
I feel like cocaine is like a ten minute drug. The inspiration might be waning.
You have to search your top competitors for things people need in the comments.
      Sniper advertising.
That’ll show you what people want in the area you’re in.
All these developers are all just living for their next demo day.
I don’t know. Fuck is such a great word. Because you can intersplice it anywhere.
      It’s un-fucking-believable.
After demo day the dust they’ve accumulated will be a beautiful sand castle or it will just blow away with the wind.
I’ve seen the upstart Czechoslovakian with his bus business.
If you want to write something I’d be happy to be productive.
Let’s write a New York story.
Everybody likes a New York story. That’s why everybody likes John Cheever.
He’s so good. He’s also unpredictable but whatever.
I haven’t fucked enough girls to start fucking dudes.
I hope I meet somebody like me. In some kind of way.
Hey let’s read a story from the Calvino book of Italian Folk Tales.
How do I look in this all black shit?
Alright this folk tale is about Jesus and Saint Peter
It’s called “How Saint Peter happened to join up with the Lord.”
Hannah studied geography. And it’s like why would you study fucking geography?
OK wait, “How Saint Peter happened to join up with the Lord.”
That’s such a great title for a chapter.
It’s just like. I mean there are like so many prosaic words to use for it.
It’s like one day Saint Peter was just around the Lord and this is how he found him.
I feel like I should teach my children Christianity if I have them.
At the very least it’s a true narrative.
      But I’m not a pastor.
I don’t get along well with Christians.
I can understand why people fucking do cocaine.
I like to think that I’m pretty good with words.
      I gotta pee.

I explained to my mom that I felt like I had died before and that when I die I basically just go to another world that's exactly the same as the one I left except in that one I didn't die. She told me to stay out of danger because if I died the version of her in this universe would be sad.

i remember i was around 17-19 and was having a lot of episodes in regards to my epilepsy i was diagnosed with. one night i went to sleep and i had the strangest dream ive ever experienced. even now at 26, i still think of it from time to time. it wasnt just the dream but the physical experience was something ive ever experienced that one time and never again. as i lay in bed, my body felt heavier and heavier but in a good way, i was sinking into my mattress like hammock almost, just feeling hugged and slowly pulled down. i remember my breathing at the time was a weird pattern, inhale... exhale.. exhale.. exhale. inhale... exhale.. exhale.. exhale. and so on and each time it got slower and slower. in my dream all i saw and felt was myself falling, blackness around me everywhere, kind of like that scary toy story scene where woody is in the black darkness. but only mine wasnt scary, it was beautiful and peaceful. i didnt fall with speed either, it was a slow float down. i remember there also being something or something in white, it looked like a human female but at the same time it didnt look human at all and as i fell, it was just there doing nothing. for the whole dream, thats all it was, a long decent down and even in my dream i was aware of what was going on and how i thought this was the most amazing experience ive ever felt. when i woke up, i had tears in my eyes but my body felt strange and weak, my lips were numb and dry and i was barely able to get out of bed. and everyday after that for weeks i thought about that dream, i would tell my family and friends if they ever experienced anything like that with the breathing and such but they would just look at me as if i was crazy. around the time but before the dream, i was already on medication to control my seizures and i had been sent to the hospital for some. maybe its a coincidence, maybe not but after that dream, i never had another seizure again. i stayed on the meds for awhile, started developing weird side effects. main one, id forget how to talk or say anything for like 2 minutes, literally id stay there in the same position, my brain couldnt even make out the words and my mouth couldnt make sound. then just a year ago i had this thought that maybe i had died that day but my consciousness just somehow lived on in another reality, so the ones i left in that life mourned for me but in this life, im still here to them. i didnt know it was an actual theory, thinking it was an original idea of my own. but seeing how many many others hve thought that as well, i also like to think maybe we're all not so original as we like to think and we're much more similar than we thought. anyways, i wonder what happened to me that day

i have had this dream before. reading this actually shocked me lol. the woody scene from toy story describes it perfectly and i used the exact same description when telling my mom about it. it wasn’t just slowly descending or sinking, hard to describe the feeling as you know, but it included everything else like the white entity and odd breathing patterns. as you said, there was so sense of distress, but really the opposite. i am blessed to have never had any severe medical issues in my life so far, which is why i am fascinated by your experience and that the seizures stopped after that dream. for me, nothing changed after that dream from what i can remember. i still don’t fully know where i stand when it comes to theories like this as well as dream theories, but i find it intriguing. ive been trying to explain this dream to my friends and family for a while. crazy how i found someone who had the exact same dream as me!

Interesting story, not exactly the same but reminds me of a story a friend told me, they were overdosing on something, and it was bad, he was alone at the time and said he kept feeling the ground pull him and he was melting, just fighting to not be pulled underground. He successfully resisted and always wondered what would have happened. After hearing the story my first thought was he would have died.

Everything we would think about the universe would be different. Our way of viewing the universe is based SOLELY on the equipment we've been given (our bodies and perception) and it has evolved to tend toward survival, not necessarily to find absolute truth. I see one huge problem with the concept of quantum immortality. It rests on the assumption that no matter how improbably, there will always be a parallel universe where you remain alive, and that naturally your awareness can only exist in those universes where you are alive. Therefore, the universe you experience will always be one in which you are alive. The problem with this is that we know we can "experience" a lack of awareness. We have no conscious awareness when we are in a deep sleep, or in a coma, or under anesthesia. Under the quantum immortality theory our consciousness should only ever follow those branches where we remain aware, no matter how improbable that continued awareness is. And yet we know there are periods of time in which we are unaware.

    • @TOSUnbound
      @TOSUnbound 3 года назад +8

So I have proposed a new theory of quantum immortality since you debunked the last one. Once we die, an infinite amount of time passes with an infinite amount of variations of space. This means that after we die their is a 100% chance for atoms and electronics to be in the exact same position as they were when you were last conscious, therefore rendering you alive once again and conscious with all of your memories intact. There, debunk that one 😊 Even death can not be permanent in a timeless, spaceless world. 🌎

    • @hlalakar4156
      @hlalakar4156 3 года назад +9

@@TOSUnbound That is logical, but it begs the question of it if would be "you" or simply a person identical to you in every way. If someone made an exact duplicate of you at the same instant that he shot the real you in the head would you experience the duplicate's consciousness, or would you be dead with a new person living on believing he was you? • @TOSUnbound
      @TOSUnbound 3 года назад +6

@@hlalakar4156 I don't think it would technically be you, but then again time seems to be what links streams of consciousness. The colours of space?
Also, have you never heard of an axiom?
Everything you have every discovered or learned is a theory that can be tested and falsified. When you see an apple, you know its an apple. Or at least, you think it is. But the beauty is, we can test your theory. And because you and many others have often tested this theory, we agree that it is more than just a theory. It is the truth, also known as an axiom.
Your argument for gravity also is a stupid one because generally, the variables for gravity have stood the time and are also considered to be an axiom.

I really dislike Sean because he has no knowledge of this subject and always speaks on it as an expert. If you want to speak on philosophy you should actually do five minutes of research on the topic. He totally and utterly misrepresented Einstein's point of view. The idea that the wave function represents a physical wave that pushes particles around is Schrodinger's interpretation.
Einstein was explicitly clear he did not believe the wave function even represents anything physically real at all. Einstein argued the wave function represented a behavior of particles in the aggregate, that can only be observed with large "ensembles" of particles, but does not exist independently with individual particles. This effect is not a physical wave at all but some sort of effect that describes uncertainties resulting from the interactions of particles throughout a system, and the wave function is merely a statistical tool used to then form probability distributions of where those particles may go based on the accumulation of uncertainties, but it is not an independently existing physical thing. Sean really should read a book on this topic before speaking about it and spreading misinformation to people.
Furthermore, Sean incorrectly separates between his view and "hidden variable theories" which is a false dichotomy. Einstein's view, known as the "statistical interpretation" or the "ensemble interpretation," is not a hidden variable theory. Einstein had specifically said he was open to nondeterminism if that's where the evidence takes us. The statistical interpretation only implies two things, (1) the particle has a discrete position at any moment in time, which does not necessarily imply you could predict how it would evolve through time with 'hidden variables" although does not rule it out either, and (2) the wave function does not describe anything physically real but is only a predictive tool used to predict how an ensemble of particles will evolve through a particular system.

On one of my salvia trips, I went to cartoon world. I have no idea how to describe it but I remember seeing repeating figures. Everything was a fractal, and eventually I started to branch out, almost like an elongated hazy snake. The same image kept repeating, and eventually everything got pushed to the side, almost as if I’m pulling the curtain away. At the same time, I also am not 100% sure about this part...I kept hearing a humming sound, almost like a sound a plane makes when it takes off (not really a plane, but similar). From my viewpoint, it looked like all of reality was on a quilt, like in the movies where they show one tv news report that is surrounded by other tv news reports (like in the ending of Joker). Everything was wounded up, like all of reality was a part of a cell. And then it kept zooming out and eventually I saw what I think was “god”. And to my surprise, it was human like. And that’s when it hit me-we are everything and everyone all meshed into each other, there is no up or down or left and right it’s everywhere. And even the realities we don’t see, are there. In both the macro and micro states, all occurring within a moment.
Idk, ever since that trip, I’ve felt like I died and entered a different timeline. When I almost came to, I “crawled” over to my friend because it spooked me out-it was like I was a lonely God. I saw my friend but I freaked out because there was a swirl around him, and he had a big smile while playing bass, and in my head I thought “OH SHIT. HE KNOWS, HE’S IN MY HEAD. HE IS THE DEVIL.” I finally came to but it felt like I was there forever.
Idk. If anyone has anything similar or can explain some things to me, I’d be more than appreciative.

You were getting insight into your, and all of our, true nature as the entire Universe itself as One. Let me explain my thoughts...
All of existence (let's call it Universe) is a fractal made up of an infinite amount of possible universes. Meaning, every singularity within every universe is another universe, and this goes on infinitely no matter how much you zoom in on a particular singularity or zoom out of the one you're in. You'll always find yourself within another universe, infinitely and eternally. Because this Universe (everything) is One (not dual), all possible "forms" in all of existence is the same One thing. We don't die, because we don't actually have a separate existence to die. Death is simply infinite transformations of this One existence we all share. And since the Universe is Infinite, there are an infinite amount of the exact universe we're in, and an infinite amount of universes with alternate possibilities. We are all literally Infinite and Eternal, we just fail to see beyond the veil of our "forms", which is a necessary part of the Universe experiencing itself as Infinite.
There is a paper written by Sam Breslauer titled "Nothingness and the Fractal of Self: A Non-Dual Philosophical Theory and Scientific Model of Consciousness." I highly recommend reading it to get a little better understanding of this existence. It's laid out in a very logical way in the paper.

Technically it’s both at the same time. Like taking a picture of a ceiling fan or helicopter blade. Sometimes you get a snapshot of a blur, sometimes it’s the individual blades.
That’s what it’s like when we measure light as photons. It’s technically both, but in that exact snapshot, we capture it as either wave or particle.

I never told anyone about it because it sounds silly, but since I was little girl, I have that weird intense and persistant sensation that I'm old, that I lived for 1000 years. I remember that I could read very easily before I start going to school, nobody in my family was able to tell how it was possible ( I wish I knew maths the same!! Lol). Sometimes in my dreams I "knew"for exemple when some ladies in my family, friends or even public personnalities are pregnant before they announce it, I know also if it's a boy a girl or twins. Sometimes in my dreams, like if I m watching a documentary, I "watch" how some famous dead people, (politics and artists) died and it doesn't fit the public version we know. Basically in my dreams I receive informations that I don't ask for. I never talk about it to anyone , this sounds so crazy, nobody can believe me.. I have also the sensation that every event in my life, every person every incident is familiar, some people I met, their faces were familiar to me from the first second I saw them. But I never could remember how or when I saw them . I have this strong sensation that is not my "first"life. Also in my dreams, I often visit places in countries I've never been, I see vividly the names of streets I never heard about or visited in real life. I see all the little details, and when I wake up and search on google...everything I saw in my dreams exist, the streets, the names...Very often, when I enter somewhere or I start to talk, the majority of people seem uncomfortable, and start to look away..they avoid me.. Maybe it is my imagination? In my life Im going through rough times since always, I never was in peace,I face a lot of hostility from others even from my own family. Every moment in my life is a struggle since always. The ordinary simple things, that are easy for others, are very complicated, when it's my turn everything become problematic, unreachable. we are probably many in this case, there is nothing mad about it. I'm intrigued by physics but only slightly since I believe the reality will just expand to become more unknowable no matter how much we figure out. I think thats part of the reason why particles act different when being observed. The double slit experiment, etc. We can theorise about what we thinks its doing, and then look at it to see it doing one of the things we theorised. But it doesn't matter because were digging into the code of a computer that will be reprogrammed every time we take a step. Physicists crack me up, because I've talk with one, a family friend and he does flounder if you bring up hard questions. I've blown his MIMD though. Spirituality and philosophy that takes into account the history of what we know about " spirituality " can help us answer questions. The only related thing is " consciousness " and everything else is just an extension of that consciousness. Physics is pressing " god " for answers and eventually the universe cracks and gives us something but its evolving just like we are, just like everything is or does, and we'll never get solid answers. We'll just get more and more questions.

I thought a similar thought only a few days ago. When someone dies, they have died in the reality you are in, but perhaps they exist in the primary version of themselves where they live the longest out of all versions of themselves. Meaning, we shed lives or instances of ourselves as we move forward in time, until there is only 1 or 2 left which both meet the same end. A matter of probability.

I feel like all the near death experiences I've had, I actually did die... because after each of my NDEs I always felt like something was slightly different... the thing about death is that when you die, you wouldnt ever know that you had been alive, so why am I alive NOW....? Why am I conscious at this very moment? Maybe when we die, we just become conscious again as "another person" the same way we had become conscious and aware of our current selves..

Its crazy how relatively little resources and human resources go into actually discovering where we are and how everything works in order to progress. On the flip side sell an Iphone/xbox or social media platform and you absorb some of the brightest minds putting hours and hours into it so people can take a 100 million pixel picture of nothing and check their IG page. Progress on Earth would be sped up dramatically if the human resources were re distributed.

      3) Efforts? A disproportionate amount of resources go into social media/apps/Xbox's etc. Not saying they shouldn't exist. Just saying they absorb a lot of our brightest minds.

It seems like you’re determining the electon and where it is, just like if you were there physically youd map your own spot even though the rest of the space also exists outside of your point of view... i agree w him, the wave function is the whole not the one spot. There isnt much empty or at all empty space.
