Over the last 4 years, Bungie has truly embraced their mission of underperforming and it's been showing more and more everyday...
The office motto is "don't over deliver." Bungie will release mid content until player dissatisfaction grows too strong and they release something far better than they have (which is hard to measure because expectations are already low) and then they'll coast on our high from that better-than-average release with more mid content. It's frustrating because I want D2 to be one of the best games ever but I can't get over the feeling that Bungie doesn't share that aspiration
Bungie lowers the bar yet keeps tripping over it.
I kind of hope Marathon fails so they go back to making good content for Destiny. Or maybe the party is really over.
Why all of a sudden, everyone is coming forward NOW, is what I really want to know, because I've been feeling this way for YEARS.
Everyone is coming forward now because Bungie is very clearly showing they don’t care.
Since the announcement and breakdown of Bungies Marathon, we now know where their resources are being spent.
Just the fact that Marathon will have dedicated servers, all of the people who worked on Crucible are working on Marathon, will get consistent updates, and will supposedly have a dedicated Anti-Cheat system.
All of the above is a stab in the back and feels like us Destiny players are being abandoned. :/
Facts. This game has been SHIT for a while. Would of been nice if more ppl spoke sooner
Yeah, same, I’ve been feeling it since Shadowkeep. I’ll admit, there’s been some decent moments here and there but it’s just temporary and everything will just go back to being boring, stale.
It’s starting to feel like it’s doing the same things every week, no new activities, lack of challenge, lack of new crucible anything, boring seasonal activities, lack of loot that gives me a drive to pursue, lack of developer communication with the community saying that they see our feedback, and lack of effort with attempting to fix potential errors or issues. I’m sad that it’s pretty much come to this, but I have a small glimmer of hope that they may hopefully have a foresaken comeback in terms of content.
Even new seasons and events are “the same thing”.
This is nothing new. Bungie hasn't had lasting innovation since shadow keep. People are finally saying something cause the heads of the destiny community are finally getting sick and tired
Don’t forget about bungie “fixing” everything fun about the game
I feel the same! Its the season of the drought. I just log in just to do weekly bounties😂
Starting? Lmaooo
the biggest blow for me was when they sunset 75% of the game, all the stuff that me and others paid for is just completely gone. it has never sat right with me. and then they put in the exact same weapons and bosses, and reused destinations. it just feels like all the stuff i accomplished doesn’t matter
Of course it matters you know those secret exotic missions that took forever and several tries? Just buy it in the tower now
@@riflescientist1744 i already earned all the exotics in the game so i don’t need the exotic kiosk. and new players will never get to experience the missions if you can just buy the exotic
Imagine if everything that was in this game had stayed in the game,? It would be massive. I still think long time players would be bored. But that amount of content would be something few games could touch.
I feel this.
D2 *never* felt like D1. Even at the lowest of D1, I turned into a massive exploring OOB nerd and felt like an extra 2 games of content doing that. And the grinds or challenges were fun. D2 just somehow took away all that. Even the OOB became super bare bones compared to so much cut content in D1.
I felt like D2 had intentions of being able to match up to D1 then surpass it, The story was one exception it did better. At the loss of mystery but thats expected and an opinion.
Collections was a solution to weapon management but random rolls really took that away so banks got filled. Ignoring all the sunsetting. I relay on having a couple weapons I like and thats it. Everything else I dont care about. (but removing the weapons can be FOMO or not account for sandbox changes).
They had a solution to random rolls in collection too. Curated Rolls. Get that, be in collections. Gratz. But no. Crafting fixed a problem they didnt need to have.
Everything about the new seasonal model I dont even touch. It took away more then it ever gave, id take 2 months of dead air for mind altering events and DLC. (usually) It allowed for catchup, or breaks to not burn out.
And somehow they started making to much story. Like have you checked the lore books? I was a nerd till forsaken then the lore books started come too fast and too big. Like it was so much. not little stories or explanations. No now its DLC of content but in a book shoved away. Personal complaint. D1 the lore cards I could read on the app and it tracked what I read. D2, you cant do that technically. You can open up the books but it doesnt record what you read so you can never know where you left off at. And reading that much in a game is the opposite of what I want to do in the game.
Lastly, at the end of the day there was always PVP, but D2 kept getting less PVP, but also for me specifically, it got faster and faster TTK and less gunplay that it feels like overwatch or some other modern model and thats not what I am interested in.
I hoped Halo Infinite was Destiny: Master Chief edition, honestly. That failed obviously.
The level layout of D2 was also diff to D1, D1 was open and big with some tanky NPCs. D2 is close and bum rush of ads. I dislike that, for some reason.
Also fun little fact, not sure the cause, but D1 has more "vivid" shading. Darks are darker, lights lighter. Not sure if thats a better quality or worse quality type of engine thing. Just interesting to notice. D2 is higher resolution and such. But how I play I see the shading waaay more of an impact.
Agree, if youve played since D1 beta our time is gone.
@@pugsterize I've been playing since D1 release. I was a massive D1 player and I met my best friends on there, I even flew out to their countries to visit them. The way d2 was and is going is just painful. I wanna get back into it so SO bad, but it just seems so offputting and overwhelming. The times where the goal was to reach power lvl 30 and go raid was THE GOAL, was amazing. D2 just overcomplicated a PERFECT formula. farming to 300 then 400 light level in TTK was SO FUN, the story was compelling and fun, and you could digest it. This is just a shitshow at this point.
Seeing all these awesome creators come to an all time low with the game and players dropping like flies makes me feel so bad for us as consumers of the game, I understand why bungie isn’t in contact with anyone because of the threats and all that but they built a whole community around this game and it’s so disappointing seeing fall to corporate greed and lack of care in the game itself, especially now that we are almost at the end of the 10 year saga, hope things get better
Well shit. I just got here last year. I feel lost but it’s fun. I can only imagine what it was like in the hay day.
How long is The Whole threats thing gonna be an excuse? Seems more like something they used to deflect and discourage legitimate criticism.
I fucking played since beta, this shit with destiny is so disappointing. I grew up with this game, spent hundreds of my parents and my own earned money on this steaming pile of shit. So much of my childhood and teen years were destiny, and now it’s a husk of a game. Fuck bungie
No game should be played as much as many people who feel burned out play destiny. I want to try ff14 right now because for me the season is done there is nothing i want to do this season anymore. It's ok for a game to be dry of content for a while. Why do people do this to themselves? Just play more games, tons of amazing games that deserve your attention come out every month. It's crazy how good the variety in what to play is today and people still go into destiny and not enjoy it because of content droughts. Play more games they are amazing
so true man iv done everythink on d2 for this season now playing other games atm
@@MrSlayerGod yeah man, so many great games out there. People don't have to sell their souls to destiny
hope you enjoy ff14 great game
@@quentinb734 i have played the free trial, i liked it, want to play more
Some faxs right here. I literally took like a small 2 week break. After that, I have probably one of the best moments in why d2 life playing Gms. 😂
12:14 people have been saying this for future dlc's because Bungie keeps putting themselves in situations where the next dlc needs to be great due to questionable decisions (seasonal activities being rehashes of older activities, core activities being ignored, etc). Nothing has changed other than the fact that people are finally fed up after a few years of this, Lightfall actually flopping, and important members in the Destiny team being moved to Marathon.
Darkside/Joker is probably laughing his ass off rn because the stuff he's been calling the last 2 years are finally coming true. I never wanted him to be right but now I feel like JJJ in spiderman 2. He was a hero I just couldn't see it.
Destiny is not boring. Y’all are playing it too much
U shouldn’t be able to play it “too much “
I agree with you. I think most of the D2 content creators are lemmings...They're all leaving in droves. I think it's fine enough. The content creators are leaving and branching out bc this is their livelihood.
I dunno...I agree that it's still fun enough for me tbh. But the state of the game could be better and have more new things to do...reformat the season concept, multiple seasonal exotic quests, scavenger hunts...Etc.
THIS some ppl need to take breaks and come back next season or something
@@agent00chimp true. However, it is their fault for putting their eggs in 1 basket. Time to branch out. It’s healthier for them anyways.
despite how pvp is in the rear, i started playing 6v6 and rumble and im honestly having a blast, i made a build for warlock and really like it. i also restarted one of my characters and just having fun doing the campaigns again. i also am getting into build crafting and fashion. right now i have a build and fashion for every warlock exotic and some hunter and titan ones (if you guys want any builds or fashion ideas lmk i’m more than happy to give it out) but yeah it’s what you make of it
Remnant 2 been fun😂 it's a good change of pace
I have over 5,000 in D2 and probably 1-3 in D1 (started in TTK). The only time the game has felt this bad to me was CoO era (arguably the absolute worst feeling era in Destiny history) and I walked away until Warmind when they started spinning the wheels for heading to Forsaken. Which Forsaken was dope, but was where I bowed out for a few seasons (mostly due to work needs). Coming back pre-Beyond Light the game felt great and I even enjoyed the BL era. Since then though the game has taken too many hits and going from TWQ to Lightfall actually does feel like a downgrade other than Strand itself. When D4 launched, I genuinely told myself I wasn't logging into D2 until the game looks and feels fun. It's been a day shy of two months and I don't see going back as viable. The burden is on Bungie right now to make sure cynics are wrong and that TFS is actually the finish line Bungie is trying to reach to satisfy their obligations. This word vomit might not mean much, but as a tenured player I just wanted to share and let you know Miss that it's not just you.
The saddest truth is one day we all play our favorite game for the last time and don't even realize it's the last time when it happens. Might have happened, might not.
jeez, got me reading wanting more.
Before even watching a minute all that needs to be said is this. It gets boring repeating the same thing just to get a slightly better weapon or armor.
I decided not to buy this expansion because I was already bored with the game... And I had the impression that the expansion was going to be more of the same. I haven't been following much since then but it seems I wasn't very wrong. The game is very good and for those who start playing there is a lot to do and there is no other like it in terms of feeling the weapons.. But in terms of the story, the enemies are always the same, the weapons are always the same.. I think that it's time for a Destiny 3 maybe.. To some extent I don't know how much Bungie's new game is affecting Destiny..
Idk man, ¿How are you so sure that a Destiny 3 won't make Bungie slip in the same stone?
@@daniaspri9057 I'm not sure. But certainly if they make a new game they have the freedom to change whatever they want, which they shouldn't be able to do in 2 because of the engine and everything.
Lightfall is by far one of the worst DLCs Bungie have ever created (close to Curse of Osiris bad). You definitely made the right choice. People say the narrative is bad (which it is) but seem to forget that the rest of the DLC is also awful. Just do what I do, game share with someone on Xbox who buys all the DLCs so you don’t have to spend a penny lol
not buying lightfall could be top decision of the decade. i got it for 30$, preordered off a shady website (bungie did not get my money which is good), and then i realised just how incredibly awful and rushed it was. The story was clearly all filler and just a Strand tutorial. The only good thing about the dlc was Strand, which wasn't even supposed to come out in Lightfall, and it's so incredibly OP anyways, to the point it's almost not fun to play. The story was awful, the raid's only saving grace is the third encounter which was very obviously supposed to be a dungeon encounter based on how different the setting is from the other encounters, and how easy the mechanics are (plus the three plates and three planets to move to mid). Destiny 3 would be the play cause their engine is preventing them from having older content, but also I feel like it could completely wipe out destiny from the map if they have a vanilla D2 issue where it's so incredibly horrible people just quit. Back then it didn't kill D2 because D1's last year was a banger year with age of triumph leaving it, so people still had trust in Bungie knowing how well they handled D1's "departure", but D2 is seemingly going down a really awful path with lightfall. I genuinely don't have any trust in Final Shape, considering all of their "good" staff is focused on Marathon, which will be just another shitty extraction shooter, starting from the fact they used Marathon's name and logo for promo where the game does not have any actual resemblance to the OG Marathon. If they fuck up anything with the final shape, I don't see myself ever preordering anything Destiny again, and never buying a dlc on release again, and definitely never playing Marathon.
@daniaspri9057 most of destiny 2s problems are because it's about time for destiny 3, it has been for a solid year and a half
Dude you’re on point. I remember grinding strikes for grasp of malok just to compete in PvP. That was the best time in destiny for me
leveling weapons just to try and use them in pvp/lost sectors is literally all i do anymore. the gunplay and history is really all i log on for, i just like the idea of using hopefully fun guns i have in my vault in pvp and that’s it
You know what it is. Destiny is starting to appeal to the weekly gamer not the daily one. As a weekly I love it.
But I couldn’t imagine what that feels like to someone who plays every day.
its barely playable to a weekly gamer too, theres nothing in the game that is needed. nothing is important
@@BrockPurdysBurner13 I mean how long I play 1-2 hours every week. I’m about to hit level 100 this week and I haven’t even completed the seasonal content.
I have the new exotic and all the new swag.
Bruh it’s ideal for it.
This exactly, I've been doing it and the game feels alot more fun. Key with destiny (and any other games) is to stop when it's bad 🤷
I'm on my longest break from the game at the moment. Only been about 2 months so far. Hopefully something brings me back. I agree with everything you said.
what i hate the most is having to wait 4 weeks for the adept raid weapon you want to be featured in a specific encounter. All adept weapons should drop from master raid encounters and there should be no cap on how many you can get in a week. So frustrating
I kinda felt how you feel rn but I took a break at the end of season 20 and came back at the start of solstice. I am now having a very fun time and can't wait for next season.
right now, the only thing that's keeping me busy. Is doing raids and getting their exotics and weapons that is what's keeping me busy.
Just curious what 3 crafted weapons do you prefer
Wow uhm....this is by far the lowest morale I've ever seen in this community...
What is your build in the pvp gameplay on arc titan
During Witch Queen, Bungie addressed the flat seasonal model and said that it was too late to change the model before Lightfall but that they would make changes from Lightfall.
We are now near the end of the second season of Lightfall and they have done jack to address how seasons feel and operate.
They actually said it was too late up to season 21 and that we would see changes at season 22.
Some leaks (if they are true) also confirm that.
@@sourakotsos there was definitely earlier messaging, but perhaps one was from a community manager social, and the more recent from a TWAB/TWID
Yeah man, I wish there was stuff to do in this game and grind for with realistic and fun content but ever since Shadowkeep, that hasn’t CONSISTENTLY been the case. Every single DLC is make or break and that has repeated from Shadowkeep to now. Bungie uses that as a tactic to build hype and that’s where the money comes from and the microtransactions. It’s all from huge hype and underdelivery. In theory, Final Shape looks good but the livestream has to show us that. This was the same thing with Lightfall and look what we got. It’s just an eternal trap that Bungie is laying out for the community.
To me it's just the core gameplay model hasn't changed much since D1 came out, while the rest of the FPS world has evolved so much. If you compare the gunplay of modern COD titles or Apex to D2, D2 just feels old and outdated. I just can't play the same game for another decade.
you know i feel the same honestly. i was just talking to my friend how the fun stuff was all removed. i loved getting the dead mans tale after a fun run with my friends. i was not long and it was not hard but it was fun. really really fun. that is what they have lost over time. they have gone off the deep end catering to the hardcore players instead of capturing the casual player base because the casuals would be the ones who dont communicate with them....
I felt the same way youve felt and was thinking I would be done with destiny. What I have found enjoyment in is small bursts of destiny and I am having a ton of fun. This game is still the best game ever but it just doesn't make sense to full time it anymore. Hopefully February will bring some better content.
Great points. I used to love getting pvp focused weapons from pve, and vice versa.
Bro I feel the exactly the same way
What I do to try to enjoy myself is coming up with the absolute best dmg in the game and just farming fresh Ron’s for spoils to spend on the adept trace rifle
I’m about 750 spoils deep and 160 clears deep with no god roll stills
Its just repitition in seasonal style. No major or even small changes to it. They could've added silver to the pass. They could've added a whole timegate of what they had planned, They did it in forsaken so I dont see how they can't now. Listen fellas, we've been through the curse of Osiris era, we'll get through this one. Im sure some members of Bungie is freaking the hell out.
I am usually at rank 100 in the first three weeks but now I'm just so unmotivated that I'm still not rank 100 this season
taking a break from this game will solve this also when final shape and next season drop ppl will be all happy playing again and the cycle will repeat
a leaderboard and matchmaking for raid so u can find players on your lvl would be cool
I honestly understand where you are coming from i used to play destiny all day everyday but lately I haven't played it for some reasons you said and some other reasons and so I haven't touched destiny in over a week now almost 2 weeks at best
I’ve played every singe season since the dark below. I even played through warmind and curse of Osiris. Somehow lightfall and the current season broke my interest. I think this is it for me.
The fact the EAZ feels more city-like than neomuna is sad, majority of points said in ur video are spot on with a lot of us in the community, and almost the entire community feels/knows that cayde coming back is for more buyers for final shape. If final shape isn’t better than forsaken or even WQ, (because I hope they put less resources into Lightfall to add more into final shape) then I will truly be disappointed.
Yea I won't do activities for armour. It's not gonna replace my triple 100 Stat on my fav builds. I totally agree with u on all this though
It was a massive hit when Bungie removed what was _the game_ way back in the content purge and now with Strand releasing it feels like they forgot how to game design. It's hard to care much about the game, it's gone stagnant.
The thing about Titan is that I would say just nuke Arc Titan but my problem is that other than Arc and Void Titan has nothing actually good while Hunter has Stasis, Void, Solar, and strand and Warlock has Void, Solar, Arc, and also stasis and these are only ones I think are good there is probably other good classes that I haven't pointed out I might be wrong though so please give feedback
If bungie nukes arc titan. They’ll be waking a much worse meta. Stasis warlock is a sleeping nuclear missile that people are not ready for it 💀
I feel that titan is in a pretty decent spot, with maybe a few changes to round it out. For warlock i feel that the only "good" subclasses for warlock are void "maybe" and solar for well, which doesn't do too much out side of dmg. Arc will always be reliant on seasonal mods and has never been better than the other option, Stasis is only good because of bleak watches and osmiomancy gloves. I don't have much of an opinion for Strand since i don't play strand. Most of warlocks identity is gone because abilities have been getting nerfed/tuned to put a focus on gunplay, which hurts the class that is marketed as a "Space wizard". You also can't buff warlock because then it could potentially be the most broken class in the game. But some of the nerfs like the void nade nerf and contra nerf were not really needed. Not to mention that warlock has only 1 exotic that increases super dmg "geomags" I dont have much of an opinion for hunter. One last thing is that they should separate the sandboxes for pvp and pve, then we wouldn't see nefers to abilities and weapons that are fine in pve. Wall of text :/ sorry about that
💯 💯 💯 I feel the same exact way on all your points Misleading. I was thinking maybe we are just burnt out from the game because I have also been playing this game since launch day.
Played since beginning of Destiny. I used to go through everything and get everything.
Now just do the story, completing raid seals and only go for the interesting things (fashion or good weapon).
Which honestly is 2 weapons lately each season personally and every now and then go for raid challenge that haven't gotten get. I used to just grind vanguard strikes and put on music - I hate psiops or these alternative activities put in strike playlist. Not sure if true if I remember right VOG returning doesn't make sense lore wise so why can't we just bring back some of the strikes that were fun that were removed. I loved helping others in Niobe Labs and playing Zero Hour solo and miss some content removed. Just my opinions right or wrong. Tired of expansions having to make or break all the time. Im on a break for 4th time and playing oblivion. I personally not supporting their new games as all different states of Destiny franchise has been in.
Who woulda guessed the Grinding game that cost 60$ every couple months would get boring.
Love how the gameplay in the background was Guardian Game Supremacy. The mode without SBMM. It felt great to sit back and have fun with friends again….for like two days.
im in the same boat as you with everything you said. Although id play more if they brought back elemental wells
I feel like it just isn't intense or challenging anymore, in the case of something challenging its you just hoping you don't get shredded by a cabal mini gun, but I wish it was more of strategic evading and build crafting including teamplay and team builds, cause if you want to play destiny and succeed, its always the same. What can deal the most damage, and well of raidiance. Nobody has to agree with my on this next statement, but, i feel just adding items, such as rings and amulets and such that'll provide sertian buffs and situational buffs would be nice, like if you could manage to increase your fire rate by 25 for being below half health. And if there was a relic that heal you instead of your constant health, and you way of not taking massive damage would be by rolling to dodge. But I dunno I could be talking out my ass in desperation for one of my previous favorite games to be back to glory.
Haven't had a reason to hop on this season in weeks. Guilded my conqueror title again. GM weapon pool is trash. Got all my crafted weapons I want. Have all the high armor stats I need. No need for me to even play right now.
I was excited to play Season 22 and im already bored. Aside from the drip fed seasonal quests and recycled raid there is nothing to do. I am not motivated to level up the battlepass at all.
I want real exotic quests that would take like a week( if you don’t grind it ) to complete like the og thorn quest
what is veil containment
for me as someone who started destiny 2 for pve campaign and stayed for pvp since march 2020 i quit pvp and switched to valorant in march 2021 after now over 4100 hours in destiny 2. i decided after the final shape dlc that im gone quit the game once and for all because for me destiny 2 feels more like a hated job you have to do instead of an game you play for fun. since beyond light i disliked pvp i hoped it's gone go better but for me it's to late because by that time it's gone be playable again im long gone. and about pve i wanne know about the final shape and the witness but that's it. there are other games i wanne play for example genshin impact, valorant or maybe the new starfield game if it's gone be good. i simply don't have the time and don't want to invest anymore time into a game that makes with every single update the game easier and easier especially if it's already an easy game.
I stopped playing around the start of the current season and actually ended up back on D1 and I've been having fun with D1 so it might be time to roll back the clock.
Your not wrong, you gotta do what’s best for you, play destiny, quit destiny, take a break from destiny. Which ever I hope you find something to keep you looking forward to the future
It's like datto said take a break if you don't have fun anymore don't force yourself to play
Buff Stompeez, Heart of Inmost Light, and Starfire Protocol, put damage resist at 10 resil back to 40%, buff linears, Witherhord, and Gally. Restore Div to its former glory. That would be a good start for making the game fun again in PvE
in the last two weeks i think i've logged 10 hours. On steam i have almost 3k hours played and probably similar on xbox. I stopped playing this game after the second week of beating robo calus in the very first raid all the way until forsaken came out. This may be another one of those situations and it makes me sad.
If you're only playing Destiny and not taking breaks....you're kinda asking for burn out. I always take 2-4 months off every year. I started doing this after Shadow Keep and it's really helped.
As they continue to follow the same seasonal model (which you k ow they will) at least till final shape it will get worse. Ive taken breaks most of this season and tried other games like apex and its just not the same. But damn im unmotivated to even turn my console on for this game anymore.
ive played thru errythin since d1 beta but durin this yrs solstice i called it quits, it ain the same no more
The only reason i got the season pass was to fish... come to find out i gotta do missions for that...
I hate the fact that I need to play titan in trials with immortal to be able to compete, I’m a warlock main and I miss playing warlock but it puts me in a big disadvantage for using the class.
I wanna improve at the game and do it on the characters I like the most, not on a free class.
It’s not making my skill level higher, it’s making me more lazy.
I will probably reluctantly buy final shape because I've been here since day 1 and i want to see the light and dark saga ending then i will bounce
One thing that just ruins the entire flow of the game for me, especially since I play only strand hunter now, is melee whiffing. In either PvE or pvp. In PvE, it ruins your combat loop with missed melee abilities, and gets you stranded in the enemy team and just feels off. And in pvp, it just gets you killed usually. It’s been a problem for years, with not a single change to fix it
Regarding Armor, just make it all cosmetic and have mods be the only difference. I'd love that.
before witch queen dropped, I stopped playing and I’m so thankful for that opportunity
witch queen seemed like they were on the right path, with sub class rework and the changes they made. but its clear they did that just to throw in as the last good changes we will get. Ill play final shape but without a direction the games gonna end after that
Somehow Night City seems more welcoming than Neomuna
For me its been really frustrating getting red boarders from Neomuna. I just need one last red boader to have all of them crafted. Ive done tons of overload events, heroic events, and gold patrols. Literally hours a day for weeks and i gotten one red border during that time. D2 is the biggest waste on time.
Something they could do is fix rank and make it so I don’t lose four games worth of winning in one loss because my teammates don’t know how to win a 2v1 and make it so the amount of ladder points you get/lose per game depending on YOUR stats not just based on win/loss (if I get 16 kills and 4 deaths) in a showdown game but my teammates SELL THE GAME, I shouldn’t be 10:15 punished for my randoms being absolutely doodoo)
When they killed off the mod system, they killed off the fun factor too because the community said the game was too "easy" all they had to do was increase everything to hero difficulty (for a start) and we keep our same mods.
"selling glove to a whale"
that one caught me off guard. good one XD
Started doing other contents besides destiny! Mixed it up a bit like other content creators and I will be there to support ya🙏🏽
As someone who finds Destiny 2 fun, i see this as an absolute win!
If you are still enjoying it, that’s great! That’s all that matters. For me, I’m just waiting for next season and the reprised raid. Also, Final Shape is gonna be the last Destiny expansion I’ll ever buy.
Ive been playing since d1 and i barely find it boring
@@xghostx9715ok
I still really enjoy it but you have to take breaks and play other games.
@@brianmcswain8932 other games? Ooof. Those are some holy words that people forget to listen 😂
I also have no clue why the Trials weapons don't rotate every week. I left D2 a few years ago, came back a year ago and still haven't seen the auto rifle or Sol sniper. The gear I'd actually would love to get. The same Trials armor for like forever now. No new maps.. It's just boring atm.
100% agree. I think arc warlock feels really fun in gms right now and the secret mission was fun to run a couple times, but besides that the game is pretty boring right now.
You can only put so many new coats of paint on top of each other before you need a full rip and strip. Destiny needs a full reboot on a new engine with a dedicated team thats not part timing on other (marathon) projects.
I only playing because a already pay the Lightfall Deluxe Edition and I don't want waste money, so just play until complete the season battle and the challenges to gain the bright dust pack. Even the story doesn't appeal to me anymore after I saw how poorly told it is (Witch-Queen is the exception that doesn't count for the whole).
You coincidentally uploaded this kind of video around the same time as SD.
After grinding destiny I go to work to relax.
Us old d2 vets are just getting bored
I think what im getting from your video and other videos is that the game lacks any form of innovation. Every season is formulaic where it starts to become uninteresting because everyone knows what to expect. I feel like they need to just reset their approach to the seasonal model because it's starting to be creatively exhausting for players and developers.
I may switch to warframe after final shape.. this games been goin in my head 9 years
Yes drip feed content!!! You hit it right on the spot!!! 😂
Destiny 2 just doesn’t nor hasn’t felt like the Destiny I remember back in 2014, definitely lost a lot of it’s charm. Think I’m officially done with D2
Do u consider not playing one game 15h every day?
Sammmee it was my favorite game now it feels like a chore to play. Haven’t played in 5 months
Holy shit, I've only seen shorts from this channel
As someone who hasn't opened the game in almost a year, idk if I can or can't relate
I’m gonna just make a list, and see how many things people agree with.
-Playlists are stagnant and boring with modes that don’t really innovate.
-Crucible gets no map support, and there isn’t enough of a loot chase to support it.
-Competitive, even to the 1%, is not fun to grind out. Modes that don’t belong in it are in it.
-Gambit hasn’t changed since Beyond Light, and anything they’ve tested failed. It’s on life support. If they cared, they would add different types of modes with the design of the whole mode in mind (payload, boss rush, maybe a big ground war type with vehicles).
-Random loot doesn’t mean much of anything anymore because of craftable weapons, and downplaying craftable weapons as they come out does not fix that problem. It feels like every gun is mid.
-Strikes are boring, and have no variation. Adding Battlegrounds did not fix that problem, and those alone just feel like killing big waves from place to place. There’s no grace to it.
-Raids are great, but also lose meaning over time after crafting weapons and doing the seal. Raids are meant to be replayable, and fun.
-The servers are unstable.
-The game is falling apart. Last Wish is enough a mess of code that even the Ascendant Plane is broken.
-Multiple triumphs and unlockable things are broken, and have been for years.
-Events have been boiled down to nothing burgers with loot that doesn’t matter.
-microtransactions.
That all kinda click?
Things should be better. I hate hating the direction of this game. Things do need to change. The community has become apathetic. And its by their own words that apathy is worse than hate. At least hate comes from a passion for the game.
TrueVanguard, TDT, and Misleading.
Bungie, it’s time to try harder. Please.
Everyone feels like the next season needs to be top notch. Because this season was absolutely terrible.
Not to me personally 🤔
Thanks for bringing that to the front..but I also think Bungie had made the grind ridiculous and the bosses with to much health for the content
You should try elden ring. It’s a great game. I’ve been playing it since destiny 2 just been having network issues and lack of content.
Thought ... play more game, do more things
Okay everyone is quitting and coming back at final shape. We get it! Geez
Love you content!
