- During our overnight stay at Malelane Satellite Camp in the Kruger National Park, we changed our plans and decided to forgo camping and upgraded to one of the camp's five bungalows. We were delighted by the breathtaking surroundings, a picturesque camp nestled amongst large trees, including the southernmost baobab we saw in the Park, with lush green grass along the Crocodile River. Our game drive proved to be a wildlife spectacle, featuring encounters with lion, wild dog, rhino, vibrant birds and various other animals. The evening was spent enjoying a braai before retiring to our comfortable bungalow. The following morning, after another remarkable game drive, we indulged in a delicious breakfast, bidding farewell to this extraordinary camp. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #southafricavlog #travelongravel #krugernationalpark #malelane

Hi you two! Malelane is a beautiful camp in the green South. Thank you for another great trip full of majestic giraffe, naughty dogs, loving lions, wonderful birds and spectacular views of the green surrounds with the mountains on the horizon. I'm ready for the next trip!
Keep safe!
Loved everything, but the birds at the end just made my day!
I smiled right through this episode. I have been privileged to learn so much about the Kruger Park watching these.
Very lucky to saw a few gangs of wilddog packs
I always enjoy your trips but Kruger has been especially wonderful. I like the way you don't just sell out the big five but stop to look at insects, birds, small animals and large ones. It's been very interesting. Verna
Those wild doggos are always so full of life. You guys are making me jealous. I'm already planning the next trip. 😂 So green there in the South. Amazing.
Also, I've been pronouncing Malelane wrong this entire time. 🙈
Thank you for another exciting journey from Berg-en-Dal to Malelane and surrounds, filled with fantastic sightings. You have indeed been blessed with remarkable sightings throughout your trip. I've never stayed at Malelane Satellite Camp before but will indeed include it in my next trip to the KNP. It appears to offer a very tranquil atmosphere with close proximity to the Crocodile River and above-average accommodations. Sad to know it will be your last camp in the next posting, as your journey in the KNP comes to an end 🤭. Lap up every moment ..... 😊
Malenane is a very nice xanp. And on this trip we saw so many animals. I really enjoyed the ride and am looking forward to the next one
Lovely video and great filming of the Red-Billed Hornbills!
Nature at its best, with you guys on top if it, blessed you are🎉😊
Town of Malelane was established on farm Malelane in June 1949....hometown of my late father-in-law

Hi Curtis Sonia and Dusty, what 'spickeries digs', we enjoyed here at Malelane, stunning ❤. Bless your hearts for the protected Rhino footage, such a beautiful specimen of wildlife, a tragedy that we all don't think the same 💔. Safe travels 🥾 and take care ❤
Hi,Curtis while watching this video I'm enjoying your spaghetti Bolognese recipe,it's delicious.
I have so enjoyed your Kruger park journey. Thank you for sharing your special adventure
What a brilliant shot of the Trumpeter Hornbill. I forgot how comfortable Malelane is. I was robbed blind by Vervets though. I must go again. I love these small, intimate camps.
Lamb Chops and Braai Broodjies sounds so Yummy 😋 and Cold ones 🎉👍 Yes! That Rhino was Stunning 😍
Wow!Wow!Wow!
I am reminded of the 50/50 program we watched on SABC years back.
I am so grateful to you for taking the time to really show us all the types of wildlife.
I absolutely love watching your videos.
When my daughter hears your intro music, then she knows it's Dustbug travel time! 😂
Malelane is really fantastic. Enjoyed it very much.
Love gravel, love the mountain range in the background. Warthogs are so cute. The shapes of trees fascinate me. Especially the kanniedood tree! Love your braai, looks very merry. Wish I could come out and join you with my glass of wine. Nothing beats a rondavel for camping.
sorry but I did laugh out loud when you were following the wild dogs and one stopped and did its business, your reactions were just like mine! 🤔🤭😂 xx
Sonia.....Malelane cames from Swazi name Emalaleni [means ilalapalm]
I watched everyone of your Kruger Wildtuin espisodes. It is now my dream to visit the Bosveld too! Thanks.
I love the different kinds of animals you saw in this drive at the last count it was 7 different animals and the birds are absolutely stunning. The small inpala running all over were also great. ❤
This camp is very lush. Great upgrade you got there. So I also have the name wrong with the rest of SA it seems....lol🎉
You have out done yourselves on this trip. I also felt like I was on holiday with you guys. Well done!! The way you do your videos is fantastic. no over editing and weird action nonsense. It has really felt like a drive along for me. Did someone say last night coming up😢😢😢😢
Indeed, it weighed heavy on our hearts that we were on our way to our last camp. 🚙😥
Sonja I cried with you when u left Crocodile bridge. I Sooo love the Park. I used to live close by but sadly had to move. I was beside myself ❤
Malelane gate is the only site of Kruger Park I know.
Braaibroodjies? Waar's die pap-en-sous!😜That's a dead give-away that you are Kapenaars now.😁
You missed a few episodes, it seems! 😁 We ate pap-and-sous in Olifants, Satara and Berg-en-Dal and I made our own pap in Lower Sabie. Sonia is from Limpopo and I'm from the Eastern Cape, so pap will always be a firm favourite with us. But we love braaibroodjies on the fire just as much! 😍🥪
@@DustBugsTravel You did? My apologies! Lekker man. I agree both are winners at any braai! Thanks for the reply, and many many thanks for sharing your travelvlog. I live in the Far East now, so the Kruger episodes were a REAL treat. Well done.
We sure did, we'll never betray pap like that! 😁 I'm so happy to hear you're enjoying Kruger with us. 😍👍
Have you encountered any snakes while visiting the Park?
Yes, we saw quite a few cross the road, but I was just too slow each time to catch any of them on film. Amongst them was a beautiful, bright green one. 😍🐍 Unfortunately we saw a few more that had been killed by vehicles. I found that quite sad and chose not to film them. 😥
18: 37 - 18:42 ... on the Right hand side of the Bird is a Black object in the sky .... is it a plane ? ... looks very odd ???
It looks like another bird to me, just much higher up. There were many marabou storks in the sky that day. 🦅 I don't think it's a plane or anything else.
Where are you after returning home. Why haven’t we heard from you. Are you ok have you arrived home safely. Happy New Year
We're just fine! We're at home at the moment. We listed a Community post on Monday, explaining that our next video will go live on Monday, 29 January 2024 @ 3pm SA time! 😎
@@DustBugsTravel we really miss you two
