Amazing how good these printers has become. And your skills at the computer just as good! I think your painted on markings looks better than decals in this scale. Decals would probably have looked too straight, too uniform and too perfect. You made them look realistic and painted on. Just like on the real thing. Impressive hand painting skills! Do we get to see it attached to part of a hull in the future? 🤞🏼
I worked down the street from the museum at UC when they built the new underground shelter for 505. Used to drive by it every day when it was behind the museum then one day they shut down 57th Dr to move it. A bunch of us walked the mile down to sit and watch it creep down the street, slowly, into its new underground home, finally protected from the elements. Was an incredible sight, probably second only when they originally towed it in on the lake.
@@Its_YourImagination it was starting to get in pretty rough shape outside, one of the trustees talked about the whole project at the Oriental Institute some years later. Preserving Persian treasures or a WW2 U-Boat, always interesting topics there.
Don't take my comment in a bad way please, but I must say something about technology and how my father screwed me 24 years ago by insisting on ''there is no future in computers'' and send me to a school of his likings. This is how totally irresponsible parent creates non existing problem that is now here and I can't do a damn thing about it, because I had to deal with his financial debts, alcoholism and complete disregard of my future. I am so F-ing angry about him. There's millions of people in similiar and a lot worse situations, that's why I talk about how people ruin the lives of others because of their selfishness. Great job! I like it. Keep on going and don't let anyone change that.
